The first day I got this holster, the rubber strap busted. Now I don't have my flashlight securely fastened down. It is just held by the tension. But as you can see by design it is an open design, so you run the risk of it popping out of place and falling off, thus losing the light or worse, losing it in a critical situation. I have had it pop out and fall twice and become unsecure, and partially unsecure several times. Luckily I am not in the field working in a very active environment, or else I would have already lost my expensive flashlight. I am mostly indoors and in plainclothes, training environment so I can afford to run the risk, but as soon as I get in the field or get into an active, real-world environment, I use a more durable, secure, reliable holster. I carry much better holsters on my duty belt for my lights, but I wanted something light for plain clothes with a down facing light holster. I kept it because I do not want to hassle with returns, so when my time permits, I will hassle Blackhawk for replacement rubber straps. For now, I do not recommend.
