I was expecting 4 milk crates with the metal bands around the top .. what I received were 4 regular ol' milk crates. There isn't anything really special about these crates and you can find similar ones for much cheaper.

I needed a milk crate that was half height, for storage in my teardrop camper.  These are perfect!  They fit exactly into the space and are just the right height.

Picture is for the older design but these new ones looks to be just as good. The hand holds are a little rough from the edge of the mold and didn't take a lot of time to smooth it back out. If it bugs me too much, I'll just sand them a little. The size is completely compatible with older crates I already have.

New design but good quality so far

Really solidly built. Stack-able. 

Would recomend tossing a liner in the bottom to keep smaller parts - pins, knobs, screws, etc - from falling through the bottom. 

But they work wonderfully well to maximize the space in smaller shelves in a storage rack or van. Having 2 half milk crates instead of one, large one, means that I can better separate gear, keeping things more organized.

Must  Have for Grip Van

Great containers, sturdy, well made and stack-able. I like the half-height for my grip cart because the full sized ones are awkward.
