This comprehensive kit is centered around the DW 200 lamp base, a weather-proof, IP54 rated component that can withstand water splashes from any direction without any detrimental effects.
The kit's open face reflector has been meticulously designed to ensure high light output and uniform illumination, enhancing the quality of your production. The focusing knob, strategically positioned for ergonomic use, allows for a focusing range of 14-51 degrees, offering you the flexibility to adjust lighting according to your needs.
The kit includes two ballasts - the Kobold EWB-200 AC Ballast and the BB200/C DC Ballast. The EWB-200 AC Ballast, when connected to a 90-265VAC source, provides dimmable power to your fixture via the included head-to-ballast cable. The BB200/C DC Ballast, on the other hand, is perfect for locations without AC current, as it can be powered by a 26-34 Volt Battery source.
The Kobold DW 200 Production Kit also comes with a variety of accessories to further enhance your lighting setup. These include a glass diffusion filter and a glass (CTO) conversion filter for modifying light quality, a four-leaf barn door set for controlling light spill, a stand mount for easy setup, and a 200 Watt HMI Hot Restrike Bulb for powerful illumination.
To ensure the safe storage and transportation of your equipment, the kit includes a sturdy Production Kit Case and a lens bag to protect the filters. Bron Kobold DW 200 Open Face AC/DC Kit, Filters, Case Features
- DW200 Fixture features:
- Focus: Use the rotary knob on the rear of the fixture to adjust focus; note the corresponding "flood" and "spot" symbols on the fixture label indicating the adjustment directions
- Installation is quick and without any tools, due to a locking mechanism. The optimized design of this reflector achieves a high light output and a homogeneous illumination
- Light output: Spot: 8100 lux / 753 fc Flood: 1675 lux / 156 fc
- Barndoor Set: To place the barn door on the fixture, slip it onto the impressed section of the ring and secure it with the knurled screw located opposite the recess. Pull the knurled screw and let it spring back into place; then tighten it to secure the barn door
- Hot Restrike: Socket and switches are equipped to allow switching the fixture on and off repeatedly without the delay of waiting for the bulb to cool
- Ballasts features:
- The required light output can be set (100 - 60% adjustment range) with the power regulator
- Color temperature can change with the power output depending on the type of lamp used
- To connect the ballast unit to the fixture just plug in the corresponding connection
- To disconnect, press the security mechanism on the socket before pulling out the plug
- Red and Green LEDs continuously monitor operation, indicate voltage changes and employ thermo protection, power reduction and even shut-down if necessary
- Water-resistant IP rated components: IP 54 (Lamphead), IP 43 (EWB 200), IP 20 (BB 200), with strengthened insulation for additional protection
