About Bron Kobold Par AC Production Kit, 800 HMI Head/Case
This is a Kobold 800 Watt HMI PAR Production Kit. The optimized design of the reflector achieves a high light output and a homogeneous illumination. The ergonomically positioned focusing knob enables focusing of 12-70 Degree. This daylight fixture has a solid design, compact dimensions and maximum reliability for all applications in the studio and on location. The weather-impervious DW800 has an IP54 rating, meaning it is highly resistant to water splashed on the housing.
The Kobold EWB-400.575.800 IP43 rated, weather-resistant AC Ballast is for the DW400, DW575 or DW800 HMI fixture. When connected to an 85-265VAC source, this ballast will provide dimmable power to your fixture via its included head-to-ballast cable. The kit also includes a PAR reflector, 4-lens set, 4-leaf barn door, 2-25' lamp cables, scrims, 800 Watt HMI lamp and a production case .

- Fine Design: Lightweight and compact. No stray light, heat-resistant. Optional ceramic safety glass, wide range of accessories
- Rugged: Housing is made of high strength aluminum and is equipped with a mount for single-ended HMI/MSR lamps with a high degree of efficiency. The ignition unit is air-tight and allows cold and hot starts even in a humid environment
- Versatile: May also be used as a PAR, or lantern fixture, with the appropriate reflectors, available separately
- Dimmable: The required light output can be set (100 - 60% adjustment range) with the power regulator. Color temperature can change with the power output depending on the type of lamp used. Less than 5% flicker
- LED Display: Green LED is lit continuously: normal operating mode. Green LED is flashing: the thermo protection is activated reducing the power continuously down to 60%. Red LED Blinking: the mains voltage has dropped below 85V. If this LED is flashing, the lamp will be switched off automatically
- Hot Restrike: Permits rapid on-off switching of included HMI bulb
- Barn Doors: Help to shape the light output
