ELIANEL C : does this come with the post to push the cart also? or does this just come with the wheels?Benjamin B : This kit is just the black steel section and the wheels. It is expected that you use your existing dolly, including the push bar and handles.ANDREW R : Just the wheel conversion.
ROBERT P : what modifications are needed to magliner senior to use conversion kit?ROBERT B : The conversion kit is rather simple and straightforward. You need only remove the existing front wheels and wheel set. A few quick turns of the ratchet (5/16" socket if I remember correctly) and the front wheels and brackets come off nice and clean. Depending on the age and condition of the Magliner, you may need to shoot a little liquid to break free of any rust or grime. Total time from unboxing to complete installation: 5-10 minutes. No muss no fuss. Easy peasy.

Tried and true!

This has been the “standard” for Magliner conversions in the film industry for at least 20 years. Of course, it wouldn’t hurt for Backstage Equipment to upgrade this thing to a lighter aluminum design, but in the meantime it still offers a solid easy upgrade to make your ML ready for any Production!

Easier to Control & Navigate Uneven Surfaces

Highly recommended for camera operators, location sound technicians, DITs, and filmmakers converting a Magliner for film use. A huge improvement over Magliner's standard 5" front wheels. Only possible downside is that it adds width and weight to the cart. Not a huge downside if you transport your Magliner(s) and film cart(s) to and from set using a truck, van or trailer. AAA+
