Featuring a high-headroom power amp design, the AMPED 1 ensures uncompromised output even at 16 Ohms. This allows you to achieve maximum power and optimal tone with any cabinet setup at 8 or 16 Ohms. Thanks to Blackstar's patented Response control, you can enjoy distinctly different and authentic power valve responses and guitar amp dynamics.

The AMPED 1 is equipped with IR-based Cab Sims and Direct Outputs, allowing you to fine-tune your cabinet, mic, and room simulations with our advanced CabRig technology. You can output via XLR or stereo jack, or connect via USB for simple, interface-free recording to your DAW.

The Response control offers five unique power valve responses - KT88, 6L6, EL34, 6V6, EL84 - each delivering the response, dynamics, sag, and break-up characteristics of the selected valve power amp. The Linear response provides transparent power amplification, ideal for pairing your AMPED 1 with an external amp modeller.

The AMPED 1 also boasts professional connectivity options, integrating seamlessly into your setup using low latency USB audio as an interface for recording, and XLR D.I. for live use. The included next-generation IR-based speaker simulator, CabRig, reproduces the sound and feel of a mic'd up guitar cab in incredible detail.

For easy integration into your pedalboard or rig, the AMPED 1 features an effects loop, 2x 9V DC outputs, and MIDI control. The Power Reduction switch allows you to select between 100 Watts, 20 Watts, or 1 Watt, ensuring the perfect balance of power and response for any situation, from studio to stage.

The Dept. 10 AMPED 1 also offers a customizable reverb with a unique 'Freeze' effect. Using Blackstar's Architect deep-editing software, you can tailor the reverb type, time, and tone, and save it to the AMPED 1 in place of the default reverb.

Designed for global use, the AMPED 1 is universal voltage compatible, operating anywhere in the world from 100V to 240V - 50/60Hz. Its compact size makes it the perfect travel companion.

The AMPED 1 also allows you to create and save your favorite settings by holding down the 'preset' footswitch. This feature gives you two channels at your feet, providing an authentic valve amp feel. The unique power amplifier design uses current feedback, mimicking a valve amplifier's interaction with a speaker cabinet.
