If you are rolling your film. You need a cassette that is reusable. These cassette do that Easy to come apart and load. Once your film is loaded. Just put the end on and roll how many frames you want.

Good overall but a bit dirty and the felt came stringy. There are little plastic pieces all over so I took a rocket blower to them before loading.

The plastic portions seem fairly well made and the tops screw on tight and seem to stay on well. The canisters came with bits of plastic throughout and the 'felt' is constantly flaking off of 2 of the 4 canisters every time you touch the fake felt portion. Slightly scared to put something that sheds this much inside of my camera so I'll probably end up replacing the felt with something of higher quality.

First time bulk loading film, and I have to say I am glad I purchased these. The twist cap is a great feature!

These are basic plastic reusable cartridges with twist lock tops. They seem pretty solid so far, my only complaint is the felt light seals were somewhat frayed and spread black fuzz within the packaging. After blowing off the loose fuzz, the rest seems solidly attached and I don?t foresee this impacting development.

I use these reusable plastic film cassettes to bulk load my black and white film. This saves me about $3.00 a roll. Well made, durable and easy to load. Love these things!

They look exactly as they do in the photos, and are a great way to save money if you shoot a lot of 35mm like me!

I've used several of these for about two cycles now. They definitly work, are light tight, easy to open and to load, fit perfectly in the camera and generally do what they need to do. That said, the felt on the slit does not seem to be high quality, and has been slowly breaking off since I got them. Additionally, while on one hand, easy to open is a good thing for loading and unloading, I'm afraid these may be a little too easy to open, randomly, in a pocket, for example. This happened to me and ruined a roll of film. Its not a big deal but it is an inconvenience and a thing to be careful of.

This is the only way to go when using 35 mm film! They work so well! And are continuing to work well! After several students using them.

These cassettes are super convenient for the ease with which the end cap is threaded and allows one to simply twist the cap on during bulk loading. But after reloading several times, I find that the felt continues to shed, with nylon threads and felt particles making their way into the development tank at times and ruining the frames to which they adhere.

I use these with my Watson daylight bulk loader. The cartridges are easy to load, and a breeze to disassemble in the dark bag. No sign of light leaks yet either.

O.K. for the price. I wanted to try it so I bought it but it is not what I expected. I dropped once and it opened the side exposing the film. No DX marking is also a bummer.

The overall construction seems durable and reusable, however I have not yet shot a roll yet. The only thing I dont like is the felt strips look like they may fall off after a dozen uses. We’ll see.

Overall, these are great and easy to use! There are videos online that show how to load them. The only thing is that the felt material around the film opening initially sheds bits of black fibers. I tried to rub off as much as possible. Not sure if these bits of fiber will work their way into the camera mechanisms or onto the film. I'm not too worried about it though.

I took a chance on these after reading other reviews that the felt was not glued in correctly. They all passed my inspection and seem like an excellent quality. I've not used them yet, but plan to. Glad this is still offered these days!

I use these in pinhole cameras as take up spools. I thought it might handle the stress like my metal one, but the twist lock cap made it a snap. Glad I bought them.

I use a bulk loader to save a little on film costs. The twist lock cap makes these easy to load and unload. The felt light trap is tight, so I have no worries about light leaks. I have already used a couple of them 5 times, (I keep track, marking each one when loaded). I would recommend these to anyone.

With cassettes getting harder to find, it's good that these are available. They are easier to lock the top than the metal ones. Good alternate to metal and easy to use for the newbie to bulk loading.
