SAFE Technology
SAFE Technology from Horizon Hobby makes the FPV Nano QX easy to operate for a wide variety of skill levels. SAFE technology enables you to switch between Stability and Agility flight modes for the performance level that suits you best.
Stability Mode
Pitch and roll limits are locked to offer a limited flight envelope while electronic self-leveling offers positive stability the instant you release the sticks.
Agility Mode
Pitch and roll limits are removed and pilots can fly with the enhanced precision AS3x technology delivers in all aerobatic maneuvers.
Put Yourself in the Pilot's Seat
First-Person View (FPV) with a headset creates an immersive RC experience that virtually puts you in the pilot's seat. Live video is transmitted from a camera on the model to you so you can have the sense of flying from inside the model.
Flight Transmitter
The Blade 4-channel 2.4GHz transmitter included with the RTF features Spektrum DSMX technology. The Bind-N-Fly version can be flown with any compatible 4-channel transmitter.
Batteries
The ultra micro 150mAh 1S 3.7V 45C Li-Po flight battery powers to both the Nano QX and the FPV system. For the headset included with the RTF is a 760mAh 2S 7.4V Li-Po battery, plus (4) AA transmitter batteries.
Chargers
A USB 1S Li-Po charger is included for the 150mAh 1S 3.7V 45C flight battery. The RTF version also includes an AC 2S Li-Po charger for the headset battery.
FPV Equipped
Spektrum ultra micro FPV camera system installed on the FPV Nano QX is an all-in-one FPV unit that runs tandem off the flight battery. It operational frequency is compatible with any 5.8GHz headset such as the Fat Shark Teleporter V4 that's included with the RTF version.
Fully-Assembled Airframe
The completely assembled airframe features a tough, lightweight design made with translucent material like the forward rotor blades. Its blade guards help make little bumps against the walls or furniture uneventful.
Fat Shark Headset
First-Person View (FPV) with a headset creates an immersive RC experience that virtually puts you in the pilot's seat. The Fat Shark Teleporter V4 headset included with the RTF version makes it possible to virtually put yourself in the pilot's seat right away. Live video is transmitted from a camera on the model to you so you can have the sense of flying from inside the model. All you have to do is charge the batteries.
Quiet Flight
The small size of the FPV Nano QX and its direct drive propellers and coreless motors make flight exceptionally quiet.
RTF and BNF
The Blade FPV Nano QX quadcopter is available in two completion levels. The Ready-to-Fly (RTF) includes everything you need to fly and experience First-Person View. The Bind-N-Fly (BNF) version is perfect for RC pilots who already have a 4+ channel flight transmitter with Spektrum 2.4GHz DSM2/DSMX technology and want to use their own 5.8GHz FPV headset.
Ready-to-Fly
The Ready-to-Fly version of the Blade FPV Nano QX quadcopter comes complete with everything you need to fly and enjoy the First-Person View experience including a Fat Shark Teleporter V4 headset and 2.4GHz DSMX flight transmitter plus all the Li-Po batteries, battery chargers and the (4) AA batteries needed for the flight transmitter. There's no building necessary. Just charge and fly.
FPV Complete with Headset
First Person View is the ability to see from the vehicle or aircraft in operation point of view. Like aerial photography, instead of watching later, users can watch the action as its happening. Video goggles immerse the user into the experience because the headset places two miniature LCD displays with special optics in front of they're eyes. Like watching in front of a big-screen of a dark theatre, users get the feeling of actually being in the captain's chair or driver's seat. The RTF version of the FPV Nano QX has everything you need to make the FPV experience work right out of the box including:
