This SOCP is great. I put it in my car and feel safer having it there. I love the instruction on line. The look and feel of this tool makes it far and away the best made instrument I have owned.

This is a well designed, versitile and quality tool, and it's legal to carry in almost all places. It's very lightweight and the well designed sheath make it a breeze to carry. Definitely pricey at full price, but if you can get a discount it's not too bad. I'm pleased with the purchase and carry it daily

Fortunately I have not needed this tool as of this review. I purchased two, one for my daughter and her first car, and one for myself. I keep my Benchmade Triage in my car now that I am retired. This may replace it or live in a Vertex bag. My daughter also appreciates it as a defensive tool with the sharp teeth at the ring and the window punch for simple pain compliance, a more useful kubaton of my youth.

Nice addition to keep with my car Trauma kit. I have a couple of rescue hooks with my other kits, but with the addition of the glass breaker, that made it perfect for the car emergency / trauma kit. The military service discount from Benchmade really helped add value to product and the final decision to purchase it.

I am a commercial diver and a rescue swimmer. This is a required piece of kit that I always have with me. It is perfect for clearing line from a prop, cutting webbing, using on an O2 bottle and I have even used it to break a car window. Highly recommended!

For context, I am and EMT-B going for paramedic, on the box daily, hands on pts all day. Its a great tool. Its fidgety without being too dangerous, the cutter is sharp and great for snacks and equipment packages, it weighs nothing, and is the fastest thing to deploy from pocket to hand to patient restraint. the problem is the O2 wrench and the glass breaker. I warrantied my original out because the glass breaker fell out. Both glass breakers take some real force to work and the designs leads to hand slipping. The other issue is that the O2 wrench part is frustratingly small. Anything but a perfect O2 tank valve will not appropriately fit. You can try to jam it on, but its unpleasant and only gives a half turn before it pops off. I have been fortunate that I haven't had to swap a tank mid pt, but boy howdy is it a minor, but annoying, little thorn when doing truck check. All said and done, I do recommend it if you're looking for an alternative to any of the heavy shears or the dinky trauma shears. Also, its a metal stick, so stick it in places to maintain access and what not.

I absolutely love this tool. It's very ergonomic and well made. Thankfully I haven't been in a situation where I needed to use it but I feel much better knowing I have it when the time comes. I have a perfect spot to stash it in my vehicle where it's easy to deploy but also out of the way. Also, the seatbelt cutter is razor sharp, I was able to shave very thin slivers of paper with it.

I bought it in the hopes to not rely on shears. Big mistake. An action that could take one, not takes two hands. First crack at it was a woman with a broken shoulder. She had a silky type shirt the material bunches up and it required me to pinch the material at the end pull tight and then pull. It reduced efficiency in my process. I wish I kept the box it came in to return it.

This tool is exactly what I needed. I wanted a multi-tool that I can also use, if needed, for self defense. It is not threatening and able to go wherever I go, hospitals, banks, grocery stores, etc. It is well made, and durable. The finish is not shiny and does not cause questions when seen by guards or law enforcement.
