I owned a mini for many years. Unfortunately I left it in the possession of my wife prior to her divorcing me. I now have a new one with laser engraving, and the nostalgia is awesome. Those little white plastic tags inside clothing are no match for this little beauty. Oh, and that sound doesn't flicks out his universal for FAFO.

Great knife, only issue is when it gets anything on the blade and you retract it - it gums up the mechanism

I had nothing but problems with this knife, I had to turn it in 4 times for repairs but the people in customer service are absolutely phenomenal . 10 out of 10. There the only reson im sticking with the knife.

Great knife. It became my new EDC. I have used Benchmade knives for over 2 decades and have never had one fail me no matter what the task. Work, camping or just everyday tasks. I like this knife because it holds an edge and is easy to deploy with one hand. Working outdoors in the field makes this a nice feature. I chose this one because the size is perfect for my pocket with the included clip. I also was impressed by the balance and overall feel of the handle. It feels nice and solid when you grip it and use some force when needed. I must admit the overall look and design aesthetics also sold me. I even love the name of this finely crafted tool. I plan on taking a road trip with the family and this fine blade will be going with me for sure. I must mention I bought this knife at the Benchmade store and the staff were very patient and courteous as I was trying out several knives. I had never been there and I was very impressed with their showroom. If you want the best of the best, look no further than Benchmade Knives.

Best EDC ever. I also own the full size Infidel which I have carried for the last few years. The mini feels more responsive and the shorter blade is perfect. Also it feels more comfortable in my pocket.

I bought the mini claymore about 6 months ago, really wanting the infidel. . sooo I finally got the infidel. Love it! Just feels like a solid knife. If you can afford it, buy it! The one and only recommendation is to add a glass breaker. That's it though

Upon delivery/ and immediately opening the box, the infidel failed BIG TIME! Knife blade does not engage when opening and obviously doesn't retract. I have own more than 25 Benchmade knives, all auto's over the last 30 yrs with no failures. I have a full size infidel that works flawlessly, unknown what the issue is with the mini version?. but very dissatisfied. I had been waiting to buy this knife for my LEO husband for years. Purchased on July 6, 2024 and the mechanism has already failed. The blade does not eject correctly. Tried to submit a warrant repair and am being charged $175. None of this makes sense and I can't get a call from Benchmade. I am so disappointed in this purchase and frustrated I wasted several hundred dollars. Very Bummed.

Infidel, Mini Infidel, Claymore, Mini Claymore: I was asked to write a review on the Mini Infidel, but my review will include all four of my Benchmade's. They are all ergonomic in the hand and even the full size Infidel and Claymore fit in my pocket unnoticed by others and by me. When I sit, I can't even tell they are in my pocket. They all feel of high quality craftmanship and work flawlessly. My biggest dilemma is which one to carry because I love all of them. I have considered getting a Benchmade since reading a novel in which they were mentioned, but never pulled the trigger. I am so happy I finally did. I know they are pricey, but I have no regrets. I will be buying another one for my son in-law as a gift, but can't decide which one I wilo get him.

Be advised, this blade is not for pansies. The case feels like a roll of nickels in your hand, blade deployment is precise and meaningful and the dagger itself is a force to be reckoned with. In regards to self defense the Infidel may stop an encounter before it begins or finish it in short order. Proceed with caution.
