Very high quality. Good design. Solid feel when held. The action of the blade is as good as it gets. I own other OTF knives from other reputable companies but my Benchmade is always my go to EDC. I have owned Benchmade knives for over 20 years and they have always got the job done. Well done Benchmade!

Because Benchmade makes amazing knives. I own a few and they are so sharp and sturdy. . . great knives all around! the spring mechanism works really well on all Benchmade otf knives And the only thing I would change is maybe go for the double edge on the blade for easier use. This is a product for knife lovers and collectors and the price tag definitely reflects its quality. Everyone should own a Benchmade knife!!

The Phaeton is an awesome OTF. This knife has a real purpose and fits perfectly in my flight suit. The materials and edge are exactly what you'd expect from Benchmade. The action required some break in, but has gotten smoother and faster as I have used it over the past 2 weeks.

This is my first Benchmade and first otf and I'm amazed at the quality and craftsmanship. Everything is put together very tight and the action is snappy and crisp. The profile is perfect for a front or back pocket and the selection of colors is great. My only gripe is the finish of the blade shows scratches very easy but I don't mind it. I also find the blade material needing honing a little more frequently than some of my other 14c28n or even d2 blades. Other than that, I love this knife!

This OTF is nearly weightless and there is almost zero blade play. The clip is large enough to attached to a belt or just on the pockets of jeans. The materials are high quality and premium, but I believe the price reflects the lifetime use of the warranty and sharpening services. It would be awesome to get this in Magnacut or S30V. It's still solid and dependable.

Great knife until you need service on it, then Benchmade will leave you hanging. Benchmade will happily sell and ship auto knives to customers, but when you try to get "LifeSharp" or warranty service, suddenly Benchmade cant ship auto knives. . . Make it make sense!

I bought one, carried it daily, and within a week knew one wasn't enough. The action is crisp, the design is slick, and the weight is just right-enough to know it's there, but never in the way. Great value for the money. The action works smoothly. The balance is good. The knife is light in the pocket. I hesitated purchasing this knife for a while because I hated to spend the money for a knife that I had never seen or handled. I've had this knife for about a year and a half now and i use it for everything from opening boxes cutting fishing live to field dressing my first deer last November the edge stays sharp for a long time and the mechanism works flawlessly. this is my first Benchmade knife and i can say i will not buy ant other knife again the quality is second to none and the customer service is top notch if i could give this higher than 5 stars i would no questions asked

I got this for my best man at my wedding, I've never spent so much on a knife but it feels awesome. I don't want to give it to him! It's so smooth and manageable.
