Better than Savage
I've been buying Savage seamless paper for years. When buying a number of saturated color papers for portraits, I thought I was compromising by buying Adorama's brand - which I only did because the Savage purple was out of stock. I am so glad I did. It was just better. The color quality is very much the same, but the paper is thicker and doesn't wrinkle as easily, plus it's much cheaper. I won't buy Savage again - I think it's a great product but why pay more?

Solid and Reliable Studio Portrait Photography Tool
The Adorama Seamless Background Paper - REGATTA BLACK is as reliable and standard as background papers go for the price. Unlike other colors I have ordered from Adorama (such as Alaska Blue, Cream and Daf-Fo-Dil), the Regatta Black roll came with a tube placed inside so that the paper has an easier time maintaining its shape.
[For people just getting into studio photography or film making, this might be nice if you accidentally roll all the paper out.]
The color of the paper is what you'd expect and, with the right lighting, produces very pleasing backdrops for images. Should you or your subject dirty up the paper, well, just cut the paper out! You have plenty to work with. Please note that any background paper can crinkle up in certain spots if you don't smoothly roll it out, and that crinkle will show up in your images and videos if you don't address it.
It's heavier than you imagine, so I recommend hanging this on a well-balanced c-stand or a heavy-duty background support.

Good value for the money.
