I own many Benchmade knives (both fixed and folders). I was looking for a beefy knife to camp with when I didn't feel like lugging around the Bushcrafter. I was torn between the Freek and the Mini-Adamas. The Freek is a fantastic knife. Feels amazing in the hand. I don't experience any of the "slipper feeling" that I've read about others having. It is very robust. Razor sharp with a good grind. Action is perfectly smooth without any play.

I prefer a full size axis lock folder for daily carry. First was a 710 in 1999. Have also carried a Crooked River. This Freek is sturdy, handy and has a great blade shape. Not a full liner design, but does have a partial liner which I think is superior to none. There is strong competition in the knife market and I feel Benchmade still offers a great product at an appropriate price.

This Super Freek has been my everyday carry for 7years now. This M4 blade holds and edge forever and knife has a great feel in the hand. If something happens to this one I will definitely replace with same knife. Love it.

When I needed a new EDC, I agonized for weeks on what to buy. I read articles and reviews on the available modern knife steels. I compared several top knife brands, and dozens of models. After careful consideration, I decided on M4 for it's combination of hardness and durability. Of the available models from the top brands, I went with Benchmade for it's solid reputation and lifesharp program, which gives me peace of mind to know that I'll have a knife that'll outlive me. I loved the lines and robust spear point, the easy to use and reliable mechanism, and the size of the Super Freek that makes it easy to hold and handle any task I put it to. 10/10 would recommend -Retired Army, several tours overseas, probably about 100 knives throughout

Extremely lightweight tough as nails knife wow highly impressed and this is my first Benchmade folder. The operation is as smooth as butter very fidget friendly and it is balanced perfectly (which you don't find in a folder too often) add the M4 blade and it just goes to show how much time and care goes into Benchmade knives from design to selecting the appropriate materials.

I collect knives, and my favorite brands are Fallkniven, Buck, Roselli, Benchmade, Brisa, Spyderco. . . I like them all; each can make an excellent knife in a certain category. But the first quality folding knife I bought was 17 years ago, a Benchmade McHenry & Williams in D2. I was thrilled. Then came more knives, recently the Baliout and Bugout. I am convinced that Benchmade makes some of the best folding knives. I currently have the Mini-Freek on order, and I stumbled upon reviews while browsing the Benchmade website. I happily shared my experiences so far and will definitely add new feedback on the Mini-Freek. I really appreciate that Benchmade does not manufacture in Asian countries. Greetings from Europe.

Don't get me wrong I love the knife but the knife opened up in his pocket, he put his hand in his pocket and it cut him, you would think everything would come tightened so this wouldn't happen.

My wife purchased me this knife as a surprise to replace a bailout I had for years that was very dear to me. I work in EMS and ended up losing that one while on a call. After hemming and hawing over biting the bullet and getting a new knife my wife made the decision for me. I've seen the freak many times on the website and never thought it was one I would like? Boy was I wrong, the second I got this baby out of the box and into my hand I fell in love with it. The handle is so cool looking, while also having lots of texture so there's no chance of losing your grip on this knife. The blade has really nice jimping on the top along with a little dip for your thumb to give you great grip and control of the blade. Over all the knife has more weight and heft to it than I've ever had in an EDC folder before and it is a THICK knife in the hand. Feels like a rock solid tank in the hand and like it could handle anything. Over all hands down the best knife I've ever had and it's my third Benchmade.

Absolutely awesome looking and feeling knife. Fits the hand well, and great materials. Blade grind was sharp, but off- center and uneven out of the package. Took a good bit of time to get it centered and even, that M4 is tough stuff.

I've had many pocket knife's and have always been rough on them and none of them could never handle my daily use and activities. This kinfe on the other hand has lasted me a few years now and is absolutely amazing, I use it for basic stuff but also for work and being outside, I've even field dressed an elk while hunting with this knife

This is a great knife. Worth the money although a bit steep. The design is awesome. Action is smooth although may take some time to break in and the fit and finish is top notch. If you're interested just buy it you won't be disappointed!

The Super Freek is a wonderful addition to the every day carry. I typically don't like smaller blades as I forget I have a knife on me, and I prefer the full size feel and weight in an edged weapon. The G10 grip has a comfortable texture that feels perfect in my hand with a positive hold without slippage. The weight of the blade is heavier than other similar length blades and swings open with a strong, smooth action. I flip my wrist to open rather than using my thumb due to a weaker thumb for flipping open knives. I can't wait to show off this Freek. I added a custom design of the Pochacco character and my daughter loves it? too much, so this may be her birthday present come October.
