Just got my hands on the Benchmade Tactical Triage with the black G10 handles, and it's exceeded every expectation. As a first responder, I needed a reliable, no-nonsense tool that can handle high-pressure situations, and this knife delivers in spades. The CPM-S30V blade is razor-sharp out of the box, holds its edge incredibly well, and the AXIS lock feels bombproof-smooth deployment with one hand but rock-solid when locked. Love the integrated seatbelt/strap cutter for quick access in vehicle extrications, and the carbide glass breaker has already given me peace of mind for smashed windows or emergencies. The textured black G10 scales provide a secure grip even with gloves or wet conditions, and the whole thing feels premium and built to last (Made in the USA quality shines through). It's not too bulky for daily carry on duty, yet robust enough for the toughest calls. If you're in EMS, fire, law enforcement, or any first response role, do yourself a favor and add this to your kit. Worth every penny-highly recommend!

I've wanted a high quality knife for years. Always knew about Benchmade/ butterfly knives being some of the best. Got one for my 65th birthday! Quality is superb. Fits in your pocket and you don't notice it's there. Great to know if knive needs sharpening or repair it can be mailed back to Banchmade .

From my experience the name Benchmade and quality go hand in hand and is true with this knife as well. I use the excellent s30v steel blade every day, as a mixer driver, from mechanical chores to opening boxes. I have not used the strap cutter or the window breaker but it's better to have those capabilities and not need them than to need them and not have them.

I love the Triage Tactical, great knife, carry it often. But, it can feel sweaty/slippery from the heat in the desert sometimes. After holding the AFO II, it feels much better in the hand than the triage tactical and feels much less likely to slip. Really wanting to get an Auto Triage but I've heard the auto triage G10 inlay can tear up the inside of your pocket. Also wish they would've kept the same blade shape and clip on the auto triage to be what they have on the manual tactical version. If Benchmade made the auto triage have the same blade shape as the triage tactical, the same clip as the manual triage tactical, and have the handle design/material of the AFO II (whatever it is that makes it feel more grippy without feeling like it'll tear up my pocket) I'd buy one immediately even if it was $435+. It's like they're sooo close to the perfect knife.

Bought this knife for my husband as a father's day gift. He bought the same ones for all of his groomsmen as gifts for our wedding but couldn't justify getting one for him self! I like this knife enough that I've bought it three times. The first one got stolen, and the second one was (to make a longer story short) destroyed. Benchmade support (shoutout to Rick) helped me out with buying and customizing the third one. God willing, I will not have to buy a fourth! Trying to save for a fixed blade SOCP, after all.

The knife lacks a locking seat belt hook. This knife in an automatic would perform much smoother in one hand use as a defense and web cutter in confined area such as in a crashed car. Belly under or over to cut a person out.

Purchased these as gifts for three different LEO's. Added a laser engraving of their service logo and their badge number. The first one I was told they use it "every day, always handy for something" including duty related functions. The grip and features are excellent, including being able to easily swap the clip side. In this case I also swapped the thumbstud for GlowRhino/Flytanium tritium studs for fun.
