I just had to replace my 940 after 15 years of use due to someone stealing it. Immediately bought another one and was happy to find the Benchmade quality has not changed!

My benchmade 940 Osborne is always the first to respond to any task I put it up against. I use it daily everyday for everything from cutting. To pry bar I have even used it as a makeshift throttle accelerator on my motorcycle when my throttle cable broke and it got me off the side of the road. I depend on it like fish depend on water. My 940 gets put against every challenge and has never let me down and will always no matter what have a home inside my pocket.

I wanted this knife for a long time. . Man is this good!!!! There is no comparison between this and a regular edc pocket knife. The contours, shape and especially, the blade. Super high quality in all aspects. You guys just acquired a Benchmade fan for life. I love my 940 Osborne!!!

I like the style blade on this one, and it's the only one with this shade of green in which I like. I wish they made more with this color handle. Of course it's a Benchmade! That name says it all. Quality durability and sharpness and design.

I recently picked up one of these at a local outfitter. A little backstory first? I have seen this knife on so many videos on everything from bushcraft to gardening to cooking to hunting. I always had a slight spark of "man I like that knife" every time for years. I couldn't justify the price for a folding knife, but then realized I spend that much for kitchen knives and other gear. So I finally got one, and it's become a daily extra limb. The size, feel, blade style, functionality and action make this an easy favorite, and I'm mad at myself for waiting so long. Saying this is an everyday carry knife is beyond an understatement, it is a companion item through and through. If you enjoy the outdoors and working with your hands, this knife is truly a necessity. The only downside I have to this is that the spine isn't a hard 90 degree angle (IYKYK), but I have another daily carry that handles that purpose. I also dare you to find a knife that opens this smoothly in such a satisfying manner.

I love this knife, nice edge on it. The thing I like best is the handle. It has just the right amount of grip to it. Easy to hold onto, but doesn't attract lint from my pocket either. Love it

Nice handle material, good blade shape,all in all a nice daily user. My only comment is that it needs assist or a flipper stud to make a lot more useful for one handed use. I am often cutting up boxes and trimming rope so being able to open easily one handed would make this a Great daily knife.

Just picked up my second Osborne 940 carbon (lost my first one ??) It's than a stand-up comic's comeback and lighter than my post-Thanksgiving food coma. This EDC knife is a beast at slicing through Amazon boxes and dressing my wild turkeys like it's auditioning for a cooking show. It's slim enough to vanish in your pocket, sturdy enough to tackle tough cuts without flinching, and so perfectly balanced it feels like an extension of your hand. The carbon fiber handle is grippy, the blade's sleek design screams precision, and the AXIS lock flicks open smoother than a sitcom laugh track. It's sharp enough to make turkey bones quiver and daily tasks a breeze. The price is up there but worth it. For EDC fans who want a knife that's part ninja, part supermodel, this is your guy (gal?) Idk

I've had a bunch of knives. Spyderco, kershaw, Swiss army, leather man, gerber. . nothing comes close to the Osborne 940. I've had a few iterations of the Osborne as well. The anodized aluminum, and the g10 handle version, my original had cm155 steel. The s30v with anodized aluminum is the best. Something about how solid it feels in your hand. It loses that with the g10. This thing is in my pocket unless I'm getting on an airplane. No other knife in this price range comes close with the features and durability. You could argue the sebenza is the better knife but you're paying 3x the price. This is a tool knife. Use it hard and it'll still last.
