I found a good deal on this site, however, the focus assist doesn't work in this camera. I upgraded the firmware to the latest version to see if that would get rid of the bug, but it still doesn't work. I contacted Blackmagic as well and am waiting on their response.

First time purchase from Adorama (Used), and I am beyond impressed. Their description of the conditions of the items is exact. The packaging was nicely done and what I purchased functions like new. Their grading system let me know what I was getting. I purchased the BPMCC 4K and 2 SLR Magic Cine Lenses. The BPMCC 4K works great and with an adapter even fits some of my older lenses from the 80's. Great picture, display, and the battery life works just fine. I am typically wired in so I don't worry too much about battery power.

By now, I think this camera has held its ground as a great buy and reliable. The obvious now that should also be known is that, yes, if you're purchasing this camera for the first time, all of the hype about battery life is beyond true. Regardless, the workarounds are endless. This image is beautiful in BRAW as well as the Pro Res options. Which I did compare, most of the time I'm finding myself using Pro Res. It is really an easy camera to use. I will buy at least two more of these in the coming months.

This camera did not disappoint. I?ve always liked the look of Black Magic footage and getting it into Resolve to edit and grade *chef?s kiss*. It?s so nice to edit. This camera doesn?t have all the fancy options like IBIS and CAF but, honestly, those things are unnecessary. I learned filmmaking when colleges had 35mm film cameras and the most high tech cameras in our arsenal were canon XL2?s. I?ve shot on Canon?s cinema line and I always used manual focus anyway. This camera is designed for one type of person only?serious cinematographers who want full control of their image. At this price?you can?t beat the amount of quality you get. The rep at adorama was insanely helpful and got my gear to fast. Don?t look passed this camera.

The BMPCC 4K is still an absolute, YES, when it comes to the question of whether or not it?s a purchase worth making in 2022 and beyond. I love this camera! This bundle is a good deal considering the camera alone is the same price and yes, the battery that comes with the camera from Black Magic Design sorta sucks. The 64GB SD card could be larger but considering it?s a ?bundle? it?s plenty to get you started and using your camera. I also purchased the Meike 25mm prime Cine lens which is just an amazing pairing. By the way, when I camera and lens arrived, it was a pleasant surprise to see Adorama had also sent a bunch of free ?goodies? for camera and lens maintenance and protection. Sold separately I?m sure everything included would be worth another $30+ retail. Adorama carries everything I need for my filmmaking kit and then some. I?m very glad I found Adorama and made my purchase through them because feels good to have one reliable source for filmmaking needs.

Extensive yet intuitive menu with settings that are great for filmmaking (being able to mark the slate in the camera is particularly nice). The camera itself is great, and the inclusion of Davinci resolve with it makes it easy to get high quality footage. I've seen complaints about the battery life, but so far I haven't had an issue after doing a few hours of shooting. Only warning is that the footage takes up a lot of space, so the 64 GB card won't get you far (but it's a good place to start).

Amazing cinema camera for an amazing price. So much dynamic range. Braw is amazing to work with especially in davinici resolve . You can change so many setting after shooting and still have all the information in the footag. The navigation screen is the simplest and cleanest in the industry reminds me of the ease of apple products.

All of the shortcomings of this camera (which are very real) can be dealt with. The price point is so good that you have the budget to kit it out and still be spending less than FF mirrorless cameras. That's insane for what you get. Not a camera for plug and play people, you have to want to get to know the camera and how it works.

Great value for the money if you don?t need convenient or self filming features such as AF. Everything is is great and affordable. I know most won?t get this for the above reasons but I wanted to be able to do a little bit of everything with this body. I actually picked up an Aputure speed booster which allowed me to control the Aperture and focus on most of my lenses.

This is my first "real" 4k video camera and I LOVE IT! I have been making videos since I started out with a Panasonic VHS camcorder in 1988 and its amazing to think about how far the technology has come. The dynamic range on the camera is incredible and the color grading you can do with Davinci Resolve (which is included with the camera) is mind blowing. The only "minus" on this unit is the lack of printed instructions and figure out how to get the compartment open for where the SD card goes was very frustrating and it is still sometimes difficult to get open.

This camera is a wonder. Truly a gift to independent filmmakers of all levels and interests. There are few like Blackmagic, that would make such a quality and powerful device available at such an accessible price. On top of that, shipment/speed and handling from Adorama was excellent. When it comes to products like this I really wouldn?t suggest going anywhere else, as you can never be sure what you?re going to get in the end (if it?ll actually be new or just refurbished/handled by people who don?t really care for the equipment). I can assure you I?ll be returning in the future to acquire all my gear!

Bought this camera for our church livestream services. We stream our services to Facebook and at the same time record the sermon for later editing. The image quality is amazing and the price affordable. The lack of tilt screen and short battery life do not bother us as we keep this camera plugged in and stationary. Highly recommended for church use.
