Excellent condition. Blackmagic provided the missing parts for just $62. The G2 is greater for slow motion. The quality of this sensor truly surpasses the Pocket cameras and I was able to make a full rig for just under $3k!

This camera produces a beautiful image, but sadly it is not reliable enough to use as a professional camera on productions. I suppose for hobbyists it's great. We were hoping we'd be able to report back positively, but after receiving the camera it displayed very prominent fixed noise pattern at 800ISO which was totally unacceptable and would never pass any QC. We contacted BMD support who were very quick to respond and replace the camera. We dove back into some tests on the new camera and lo and behold the same issue was happening. I'm waiting now to see what BMD's solution is, but we're now more than a month behind on our production and don't know when we'll have a functioning camera. I would have loved to give this camera a 5 star review- it's functionality and its image (minus the fixed noise pattern) are superb. In the beginning we decided to take a bit of a risk and purchase this camera for a production rather than rent an Alexa (an Alexa is roughly the same rental cost as an Ursa Mini Pro purchase for the shoot duration), but in the long run we are regretting it. I will update this review once we have a final solution that involves a functioning camera from Black Magic. After reading multiple negative reviews on various forums I am seeing that it's a crap shoot- some Ursa Mini Pro's have this issue, others don't. It seems like a Quality Control issue at Black Magic, which in my mind should be very easy to avoid- before shipping the cameras do a 2 second sensor test! It's just a shame we didn't luck out on 2 rolls of the dice so far, even after I was assured they had thoroughly tested the new camera.

I currently work as a Cinematographer in the Puerto Rico Film Industry, but I also own a Production Company that specializes in smaller video production projects. This camera has been able to handle both. Worked well as a handheld unit for more run and gun stuff (although not the best for prolonged handheld work since it is slightly heavier than I would want once you rig it properly) and was also able to neatly handle a 12-hour day of shooting in 4K RAW.

While a nice camera, I can't use it with my main client. Fox Sports is 720p. Doesn't matter how nice it is, if I can use it on the majority of my work.

Better ergonomics and image than the canon c300 at an unbeatable price point. The file sizes are quite large, but that is the price you pay for this kind of quality. The built-in nd filters are excellent, the build quality is rugged and durable, and the lcd screen is much bigger than most will make out. Would still recommend the viewfinder, but it is still very usable without. The os is much simpler and faster to navigate than a Sony or even a canon and again, the images you get with this machine are phenomenal. Just be sure to expose properly. This is a very capable tool. The rest is up to you.

Purchased this a month ago, found it cheaper than on B&H, really nice combo. I love the camera and the batteries and charger are working fine. Adorama delivered super fast.

Amazing camera with superb image quality. Only thing is that the camera shows FPN (fixed pattern noise) even at its native iso 800.

Poor ergonomics, difficult to shoot with because it’s so heavy. The screen navigation is great and the image quality is good. As far as being productive on a shoot, I would recommend a Canon C200 which has comparable image quality and is much lighter. The trade off there is it it eats up tons of space. But it has amazing AF which will make your life easier.

Love my new URSA Mini Pro. Definitely a learning curve coming from a C100, but a fun learning experience nonetheless. The images are absolutely stunning from this camera. Highly recommend the Mini Pro!

Still getting use to the camera but the image quality is great, i wish it was better in low light, but hey gotta learn to light your scenes!

I also own the URSA Mini 4.6k and I can tell you that the Pro is a significant upgrade over it. It's just better in every way. For me, the interchangeable mount system was the deal maker, but internal NDs and all the control buttons on the outside makes this so much easier to use. Image quality has been slightly refined too - it just seems a bit cleaner and performs better in lower light with less noise, etc.

I'll be honest and short as I can. This is a great camera on paper but in practice it still needs huge improvements. The fixed noise pattern at least on my particular camera was very present even in the native 800 ISO, RAW or ProRes. The scenes I tested out had a full range of light to dark within the frame and pretty much anytime you have an area of shadow or 40 to lower IRE, the FNP shows up to varying degrees. Discussed this with Blackmagic and their representative basically they said to test/shoot the camera in a well lit area, well guess what... I can't tell my clients that we can only shoot in well lit areas or dramatically overexpose our shots just to try to avoid the FNP. You can write off shooting anything normal to low-key lighting, that Blade Runner/Batman/film noir/"natural" window light look... well don't even try to attempt it on these cameras unless you want to go the extra mile in post to try to fix the FNP. I can't afford it in time or money wise so I had to return this camera. Hopefully they fix the issues other people have been noticing, but as for now, their Pocket Camera is by far more reliable image wise than this current version of the URSA Mini Pro. Maybe you might luck out with QC and get a sensor not as bad as mine, but who really can afford to play roulette over and over with Blackmagic till you get the "good" camera. Don't get me wrong, Blackmagic still makes a great image for the money, still feel they are the closest brand that has the digital film look as much as ARRI has, but again the FNP is killing it for a lot of us.

Love the new Ursa Mini Pro. It produces a beautiful image with the added flexibility of built-in ND filters and interchangeable mounts. Not only is it is easy to operate and navigate the menu, it has internal raw recording and ProRes to C-Fast or SD cards. I look forward to using this camera over the next several years.
