Great cinema camera for pro work
The Blackmagic Pyxis is a fantastic camera with exceptional image quality and intuitive controls. It's a great tool for professional workflows and delivers stunning results. The only downside I've encountered is that the V-mount doesn't accurately read the battery percentage, which can be inconvenient during shoots. Aside from that, it's a reliable and powerful piece of equipment. Overall, highly recommended for anyone in need of a high-performance camera with just a minor drawback. !

What a masterpiece of a camera. This camera is indeed going down in the history of Blackmagic as a turning point for camera design. It's very light and smaller than I expected. There are so many possibilities when it comes to rigging this camera. The only negative thing is the monitor placement, which could be remedied with an external monitor. I'm happy to have at least this monitor because many boxed cameras don't have one, so it's still winning!

The PYXIS 6K Cinema Camera features a full-frame 36 x 24mm 6K sensor with a wide dynamic range, coupled with a built-in optical low pass filter, designed to perfectly match the sensor. The camera is available in three models: EF, PL, or L-Mount, providing versatility to suit your specific requirements.
This high-end camera is equipped with 2 x CFexpress media recorders and Ethernet for seamless media sharing to Blackmagic Cloud. It also offers simultaneous recording of both 12-bit Blackmagic RAW and extremely compact H.264 proxies files, making it a powerhouse of functionality.
The compact body of the PYXIS 6K Cinema Camera is crafted from precision CNC machined aerospace aluminum, ensuring it is lightweight yet robust. The camera features a massive full-frame sensor with a native resolution of 6048 x 4032, almost three times larger than a Super 35 sensor. This allows you to shoot with a shallow depth of field or use anamorphic lenses uncropped for a true cinematic look. The 13 stops of dynamic range with dual native ISO up to 25,600 provide stunning low noise images in all lighting conditions.
The large full-frame sensor in the PYXIS 6K Cinema Camera allows you to work in a variety of film formats and aspect ratios without sacrificing quality. The sensor also lets you work in true 6:5 anamorphic without cropping, making widescreen cinematic images more detailed and in higher resolution than previously possible.
