The URSA Cine 12K camera boasts a large format RGBW 36 x 24mm image sensor with larger photo-sites, delivering an impressive dynamic range. The sensor is designed to produce high-quality images at all resolutions, from 4K to a massive 12K, with an astounding 16 stops of dynamic range. The unique RGBW architecture ensures rich colors at all resolutions, providing superior image quality and flexibility. The camera body is optimized for high-end productions, featuring a robust magnesium alloy chassis and lightweight carbon fiber polycarbonate composite skin. It is equipped with soft-touch backlit buttons and a 5" fold-out touchscreen for reviewing shots and accessing camera settings. The camera also includes standard Lemo and Fischer connectors for remote control and power supply for lens motors and other accessories. The URSA Cine 12K camera offers large format flexibility, allowing you to shoot in a range of aspect ratios with 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 1.66, 1.8, and 2x de-squeeze factors. You can shoot in 4K, 8K, or 12K using the entire sensor without cropping, retaining the full field of view of your lenses. The camera features interchangeable lens mounts, allowing you to switch between PL, LPL, EF, and Hasselblad mounts. This compatibility with a wide range of professional lenses gives you the freedom to choose the lens you need for any kind of work. The URSA Cine 12K camera offers high-resolution monitoring and camera control, with a large 5" HDR touchscreen and an external color status LCD. It also includes a dedicated assist station with a second 5" HDR touchscreen, allowing the crew to work around the camera without needing external monitors. The camera is equipped with a wide range of industry-standard connections, including 12G-SDI outputs, 10G Ethernet, USB-C, XLR audio, and more. It also features Blackmagic RAW fueled image capture, Generation 5 Color Science, built-in optical low pass filter, color-balanced ND filters, and high frame rate capture. The URSA Cine 12K camera supports the optional Blackmagic URSA Cine EVF for accurate outdoor and handheld shooting.
