The BEST editing software. Comes with Fusion built in(Davincis After Effects). All for 300. No subscriptions, updates for life. All the hell yeahs you can imagine. Does everything premier, ae, and audition does. All you need without getting ripped off by adobe.

Longtime Premiere user. Since it's been so buggy lately I decided to try out Resolve. Most notable feature that caught my attention, outside of the color grading possibilities, is the voice isolation. It's not perfect but for being version one of this feature it's pretty amazing. There's a bit of a learning curve/thought adjustment to using nodes but I'm getting along with it.

The speed editor has literally changed the game for me! Recently switching from Premiere Pro to Resolve, everything about the software has been so smooth and user friendly. The speed editor has really made everything that much better because instead of having to learn all the new shortcuts on DaVinci. It has everything listed out, works seamlessly, and is particularly useful when editing multi-cam sequences I do wish Blackmagic would allow creators to create our shortcuts with the speed editor But overall a great product

This is an awesome deal. For the cost of the upgrade license to the full RESOLVE STUDIO, you also get the hardware speed editor. No more hunting for special key strokes for common commands! Be sure to check all of your package contents carefully, since the hardware dongle is in its own box. Also, be sure to download the full RESOLVE STUDIO software first, then whenever launching it, make sure the USB dongle is attached to your computer. Very happy. Awesome customer service from ADORAMA (as usual)!!! Thanks

The Speed Editor keyboard works great for scrubbing and easy access to basically all of the common editing functions (from the Cut page) you already use in Resolve. It worked well for me out of the box by wired connection, but I did struggle to connect it via bluetooth (to a Mac). A Speed Editor specific manual is hard to come by, but I found the key sequence to reset it online, and after doing so, it immediately showed up in discovered devices on my Mac and works wirelessly now. The magic keys to press simultaneously: CUT + SMTH CUT + SOURCE + TIMELINE Enjoy. :)

The only thing not to like is that the manual is approaching 4,000 pages - I can't get through it in one night anymore... Seriously, this is some of the best software I have used in over 30 years (including Photoshop since version 1.0). You have to dig deep to understand how truly powerful it is. I do all of my feature film work using resolve now after using FCP for over a decade.

I have been learning how to become a better actor on black magic studio 17, and there is free updates for studio version holders. Mine came with a very nice editing keyboard, I use it every time I edit now and can?t imagine not using it.

Does everything you need an NLE to do for Professional video editing and simple video editing too. I made the switch years ago and will not go back. Color grading in Resolve is the definitive choice for me. No other NLE has as good of a color grading system as Resolve. The nodes layout is brilliant and simplifies workflow superior to the old layering model which has become so cumbersome and limited. You won't regret this purchase. The Studio version is so much more powerful than the free version. I highly recommend DaVinci Resolve.
