From a former experienced Vegas Pro user to a rookie Davinci Resolve user; using the Davinci Resolve Speed Editor GREATLY speeds up my workflow for creating video content. And being able to get the full version of Davinci Resolve with it on top of that? It's really worth it. But seriously, using the Speed Editor literally feels like you're in complete control of the project. I really love the jog wheel. I greatly recommend this for users who need to make videos with a quick turnaround time!

I do love it . and I got DaVinci Resolve key in witch i give a 5 star to . however the speed editor is a 4 stare. It is built well strong and durable.. I wish there was more metal in it. But it is built. Very well. For hard plastic. As far as function. For what it's designed for. It works very well as well. It is made for the cut page. It works in the edit page. But maybe not as well as I would like. The wheel. On it is definitely my favorite part. I'm a very happy customer of black magic. The four-star. It's because. I think it's capable of more functionality than it has. And all the pages. And for not being metal. But overall. I would buy it again. No regrets. Happy to have it. It sits right above my keyboard. At all times. Unless I put it.in it's storage case. I did not get the deal. Where you could get that speed editor? With the key for free. That was around for a while. I paid $450. And it was worth every penny..

Speed Editor itself is pretty great. Well-designed and has a great feel to it. Especially the search dial. I do enjoy the mechanical keys and the keyboard has already sped up my workflow tremendously. So far I've been quite happy with it. My main complaints are its lack of customization, especially for the multi-cam buttons which are only used rarely. My biggest complaint though is the speed editors terrible bluetooth experience which I was looking forward to. After connecting the editor once via bluetooth, it never connected again. I've troubleshooted for hours already and apparently many other editors have experienced this issue. Adorama themselves have been nothing but fantastic. They're quick and customer service was extremely responsive when I inquired about the delivery.

Absolutely the best. I migrated from Final Cut to Premiere and now to Resolve. Far and away the very best, the easiest, the fastest and the most logical. It?s integrated with more features than you can imagine and places you at the center of a professional workspace that will deliver PRO results rivaling anything the best of Hollywood can deliver. DaVinci color is phenomenal. There is nothing else like it. The nodes work to your advantage in ever facet of the program. AND upgrades are free?FOREVER! (at least so far)

The best tool for Davinci Resolve its super well build , intuitive to use , fast editing and the Dial its super smooth , feels like magic, i'm new to editing and this speed editor motivates me more to learn and with the included studio usb key, its super convenient to swap computer for editing , i'm currently using windows and Mac.

As a new user to Resolve, I wanted to jump into the Speed Editor realm and grow with it from the start. I?m thoroughly impressed? super build quality, the jog wheel is smooth as silk, so many options under your hands. It?s definitely geared for the cut and edit pages of Resolve, but I find it quicker to use than a mouse and keyboard. Love it!

This is a useful interface for working in DaVinci Resolve. It works mostly with the Cut page, so if this isn't where you typically edit, it's functionality will be more limited. As for Resolve Studio, I'm not sure I need the extra features over the freeversion but the Studio plus interface combo is an excellent value. Essentially, think of it as getting either the hardware or software for free. I recommend the combo.

Best investment ever. Granted it best works in the Cut and Edit pages but it works for me in Fairlight as well. Best is getting the Studio software and flexibility of the dongle. Every now and then dongle doesn?t always get the serial which requires a restart. Working with this tool has cut my work time by more than a half

Awesome Deal. Awesome program. I had been using the free version and loved it, but wanted some of the upgraded features. The addition of the speed editor made this a no-brainer. There is a bit of learning curve, but its pretty easy to add it to your work flow and the editor is really well constructed.

Learning new software is time consuming, but the speed editor definitely helps learn it much faster. The build quality is great, feels very sturdy and really it is a bonus. You can say the editor is free or the software is free, because either one usually costs $295 so getting it is a great addition. The program is also really good, much better then my previous software, especially for color grading! It will take me time to get used to it though.

So I got this product more for davinci resolve studio. I think my 3070 has problems with supporting the program as it freezes up at times. The speed editor also disconnects frequently after a certain point even after uninstalling and reinstalling the hardware.

This editing keyboard is well built and useful. It has a battery built in for editing when USB power is insufficient on your device. If you are used to editing with only a keyboard it will take some getting used to it, but it is worth it. Currently the price for a Resolve Studio License is the same with or without it so why not?

At $295 for this wonderful little editor and the Studio version of DaVinci Resolve, you can't go wrong! While there a several advantages to owning the Studio version, owning the Speed Editor has changed my work flow and my life. I have increased my editing speed by about 100%!!! Blackmagic Design just reduced the cost of the full keyboard to nearly half the cost so the real question is if you buy the speed editor or the full keyboard (both come with DaVinci Resolve Studio). The Speed Editor is great because of the portability and Bluetooth connectivity.

I saw that they had a special that comes with a speed editor for free, so I jumped on it. The speed editor is really great and def helps the process of editing me videos.
