Jeffery M : Hi, I would like to know, the SDI output on this unit, is it just a loop out of the SDI in or it's what being recorded? For example, if I have an SDI input with 2 audio channel and another 2 from the analog audio input, will the SDI output be with all 4 audio channels? And do I have control on what resolution and format is the SDI output? Thanks!

Easy recorder to hook up and use

Awesome recorder, worked right out of the box once the connections were made. The elapsed time indicator also includes how much time is left to record on the SSD. If two SSD’s are inserted, the indicator shows how much time before the unit switches recording to the second SSD. It calculates this all based on the resolution of the material that is being recorded. You always know if your SSD was read and is good enough for recording and you have a dynamic display of red perimeter lights around the drive slot to indicate recording is ongoing.
