Blackmagic Design Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 + Sigma 16mm f/1.4 = Pure Magic for Podcasters! I'm absolutely blown away by the image quality of the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 paired with the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 lens. I'm using this setup for my podcast, and let me tell you-it looks cinematic. The depth, the clarity, the color science? everything just pops. It gives my show a professional, polished look without the bulk of a traditional cinema rig. Despite its tiny form factor, this camera packs serious punch. Dynamic range is impressive, low light performance with the Sigma lens is shockingly good, and the Micro Studio G2's SDI output makes integration into my Blackmagic ATEM system seamless. I can focus on the conversation while knowing the visual storytelling is next-level. If you're a podcaster or solo creator looking to elevate your production without breaking the bank or your back, this combo is absolutely unbeatable. Clean, crisp, and damn near broadcast-ready

Perfect small cam!

Perfect small camera. if you need 4k M43 and small you can't do better than this
Why settle for less when you can have the world's smallest Ultra HD broadcast camera, the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 Despite its compact size, this innovative camera boasts features that rival full-sized studio cameras, making it a versatile and high-quality choice for professionals.
The Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 is equipped with a very low light 4K image sensor and cinematic color science, ensuring exceptional image quality even in challenging lighting conditions. Its 12G-SDI supports HD and Ultra HD operation up to 2160p60, offering a range of recording options to suit your needs.
This camera's built-in color corrector and lens can be controlled using the SDI and HDMI connections, providing you with the flexibility to adjust settings as needed. Plus, it can record Blackmagic RAW to USB disks, allowing for post-production editing and color correction.
Designed for live production, the Micro Studio Camera 4K G2's small size makes it virtually invisible on set. This allows for more camera angles and a more dynamic live production. Its professional broadcast connections make it suitable for a variety of work, including television production, broadcast news, sports, education, conference centers, and churches.
The Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 features a super tough magnesium alloy core in a body that's not much larger than the lens mount itself. This durable construction allows it to withstand the rigors of professional use. It's compatible with a wide range of affordable, high-performance MFT lenses, and adapters can be added to work with broadcast lenses.
With its exceptional low light performance, this camera is optimized to reduce grain and noise in images while maintaining the full dynamic range of the sensor. The built-in DaVinci Resolve primary color corrector ensures much better images than simple broadcast cameras. With 13 stops of dynamic range, the camera captures darker blacks and brighter whites, perfect for color correction.
The Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 also features a tally light that illuminates red for on air, green for preview, and orange for ISO recording. This makes it easy for talent to present with confidence as they know at a glance which camera is on air.
With its powerful broadcast connections, built-in microphones, and high-speed USB-C expansion port, the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 is a versatile and professional choice for any broadcast or recording needs. Whether you're filming in a studio or on location, this camera delivers high-quality, detailed images that will impress your audience.
