The image is pretty decent, the eyepiece has some good functionality, however, there are two set screws one to tilt the viewer and the other to extend the viewer. They are both in somewhat difficult areas to adjust after the viewer is attached to the camera. Also there were two rubber pieces missing in my new eyepiece- the pieces are small strips of non slip rubber glued to the bottom of the eyepiece. They were missing and made the eyepiece difficult to work with because the entire unit would slip and move to the right. The screw that tightens the entire eyespot the top of the cheese-plate cannot be screwed too tightly otherdamage could occur. This is why the rubber pieces that were missing are important.

I didn’t buy the viewfinder when I first bought the URSA Mini Pro G2. But it’s absolutely necessary when operating the camera on a shoulder rig. And this camera makes for a good shoulder rig with much versatility to using it. Obviously the viewfinder is not going to be necessary for every type of shoot. But for the shoots where it is, you will be very glad to have it. As for the quality, it feels nice and has extendability to it so you can use it on either eye comfortably. The price is the only negative thing I really have to say about because it’s a lot to have to pay for an attachment. But it will round out your URSA nicely.

I really dig this EVF paired with my URSA MIni Pro. Has every feature I could possibly want. My only complaint is that the mounting design limits what accessories I can use on my camera and what cameras I can use this EVF with. Like, it would be great to use this EVF with a built out Pocket 4K or something, I just don't see this particular unit being practical for that.

Coming from an FS7, this thing is freaking amazing. Eye cup comes off easier than it should, though. Don't know how it compares to the Zacuto Gratical, seems comparable from what I've read, but with the Ursa EVF you can save that extra $$$ and buy a couple more CF cards, or 250 powerball tickets.

I'm using the viewfinder with an Ursa Mini 4.6k. I can't imagine not having it. In bright daylight shooting F2 the peak on the built in monitor doesn't cut it. I'm not saying the build in monitor is bad, but bright sun? That's too much to ask. I've heard some reviews complaining about difficulty removing the viewfinder. I don't agree. It's solid and removal is not that hard. It's only one hand screw. I've always been a left eye guy. The ability to extend is appreciated.

Excellent quality EVF, a must have! (Works great with the BMCC also.)
