bryan d : does this unit stand on its own? or does it need supports?DAVID W : Even with supports it won't stand up. There is a loop in the middle, but if you support it here with a stand, the sides flop forward. There is no attachment point at the sides, but even if you clamped it to two stands at the edges, the middle would sag down. You would need at least one more stand for the middle or two stands holding up a cross bar and and some clamps to get it to stand up - in other words, more work than a normal curtain-style cloth backdrop.
