For those of us that have problems with typical earbuds staying in ears, these are fantastic. They stay inplace and never feel like they are falling out. Sound quality is excellent, and you can also hear what is going on around you.

Great sound, great battery life, and better for my ears as the open concept allows them to breath. I'm surprised by the sound quality as they don't actually go in my ear.

I bought this set 2 1/2 weeks ago. I'm very disappointed. They don't sound anything like the first set. I have from bowls. I'm definitely sending these back to get the second generation. I bought the first generation which I thought was awesome but this set doesn't compare to the quality sound That I'm getting from the first generation so I'm trading them in for the second generation. It has no base to it no sound I'm disappointed.

If u need to hear what's happening around u, or be able to speak to people while listening to music these r the best better than any other earbud "ambient" setting. They r not as loud as some other buds tho if u need to hear what's happening around u these r the best. The battery life isnt as good as some others especially if u have the immersion mode turned on. All and all they r good if u just want buds not in ur ear canal, but great if u need to be able to hear ur surroundings and still hear some music or an audio book. "The dirt" good book, good movie!

This is my fourth purchase of the Bose Carbon Blue because I don't ever want to be without them. Probably my 12th purchase overall of the Utras. They are the perfect combination of sound, awareness, comfort and COLOR. I have been diligently looking for a worthy replacement to my Backbeats from Plantronics as I have exclusively been a fan of open ear devices for workouts and while I'm out and about. Although not good for airplanes, I will, once again, make my pitch that Bose make the QC ULTRA Gen 2's in CARBON BLUE! Please, ya gotta do it.

I have been looking for earbuds that do not go into my ear. After having an allergic reaction to apples, EarPods, it has been very difficult. I got one pair of these and loved them so I bought another pair! They are fantastic and the only thing that can be improved is by being able to also handle phone calls from them.

Used these on my recent roadtrip and they are fabulous. Had a bit of trouble with it staying connected to my iPad but after a couple of times "retrying" had no issues after that. Bought the black with gold which is stunning. Bought two additional pairs as X-mas gifts. Still have and use my over the ear headphones in the car (not driving) to cut the road noise. Also have a portable speaker received as a gift. Your products are reliable, sound great, and used quite often.

I really like the Bose Ultra Open earbuds. They allow me to enjoy my music and still hear what's going on around me. I was so excited when I heard how great the music sounds despite the fact they are open. I also appreciate that I can use both or just one. I'm still trying to find that sweet balance between music and phone calls. Even though my music is ?? while listening, when taking a call the volume seems a bit low, so I feel I constantly have to adjust. Otherwise, for me, it's the perfect earbud. These earbuds possess that true bose quality by delivering great performance.

as someone who has never been able to wear earbuds without them falling out of my ear.. these are awesome! 4 stars because the call quality isnt great & the design could be better as far as placement of the speaker. otherwise the sound while playing music is very good. these earbuds are so comfortable i sometimes forget I have them in. you can hear the music and everything around you which is great for busy city streets. if bose ever makes these with noise cancelling or a way to adjust the length for better fit.. i will buy the updated versions. highly recommend for people that can't wear regular earbuds.. do not recommend for people that make frequent calls or need them to communicate for work video chats.

I'm giving Bose 1 star not the product the customer service im sure the ultra open earbuds are great but I purchased them and never received said earbuds when I contacted Bose about this 15 mins after I received delivery notification I was brushed off for over a week then it was under investigation now three weeks later no answers still no response from customer service no proof of delivery nothing and i was robbed twice payed for a alleged delivery of open earbuds and now receiving them

Most ear buds do not fit snugly into my ear canal. I have been a long-time happy user of Bose over the ear, noise cancellation headphone so I decided to give these a try. They clip onto my ears securely but sometimes I forget they are there. The sound is great.

These Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are by far my favorite earbuds! I love how they feel like I don't have earbuds in. If I'm wearing them and nothing is playing I almost forget that I even have them on. I love how while wearing them I can still hear everything around me. I know other earbuds have transparency mode, but I personally like to keep my ear canal from being obstructed. I also love how when these are attached they stay attached and I don't have to keep checking if they are going to pop out like I do with my AirPod pros. My biggest concern is I use them so much I just hope the connection points to charge them don't wear out or break. From the last year I've owned these I can tell the right side has fatigued more than the left because 70% of the time I use just the right side. I did end up buying a second pair because they released the black and gold ones and I found a good sale for them. I also preferred having a work pair and an at home pair. However it would be nice if Bose made interchangeable buttons and side caps for a little customization because most people won't buy 2 pairs just to have different colors.

I really enjoy the sound quality of the open ear buds! They are great to wear while at work, when I'm cleaning around the house, or out and about. This is my second pair to invest in. I lost one of the ear buds while riding on our bike. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

I tried them all, but I hate the feeling of bent under water. These were the keepers! Not for everyone but for those who have small ears and also hates the underwater feeling, this is your go to. I have an iPhone 17 and they connected well. Also seamless to my iPad. Didn't hurt that I got them also on a flash sale.

Confortable all day wear almost can't tell I have them on sometimes. A lot better sound quality than I was expecting from this style of ear buds I often forget I don't have in ear ear buds on. Only complaints are Play button doesn't always respond so I'll have to press play on my phone in order to get sound. And audio quality during phone calls leave much to be desired but I already knew phone call quality wasn't great when I purchased so it's not much of an issue for me.

As with all of the Bose audio products I have used, the Bluetooth connection is unstable and difficult to connect. I spend unbearable time trying to connect to live broadcasts only to give up because the broadcast is half over before I can connect. It sounds great when it works, but time sensitive material is impossible. I have switched back to Nothing ear phones because they connect without fail.

I just got these and they meet all the specifications I wanted and needed. They stay in place during my workouts and runs. The sound is crisp while allowing me to hear my surroundings. I owned the Bose sport earbuds for 3.5 years, I loved them, and they died a month ago. I bought the Bose qc earbuds and they sound great but they fall out all the time. These are perfect and the mic works great.

This product is exactly what I hoped it'd be. They're so much more comfortable than earbuds that sit inside your ear canal. I also tried cheap options before investing in these, and the sound quality absolutely blows the cheapies out of the water. I love being able to listen to high quality music while still being able to hear emergency vehicles, etc. My only knock is the auto-adjust. It's fine with music, but podcasts sound distinctly off.

They are comfortable. Great because I wear glasses and hate in-ear and over the ear headphones. They stay charged for a long time too. But they have issues with disconnecting. One ear bud will stop connecting randomly. I have to reset them. Not a great user experience.

I bought this ones less than a month, and the earpieces work great, but the charger case I got rain at work was having it in my pants and they get wet and stop working Sound I really good but, u need to make more resisting to the water, now I have to buy another accesorie a new charger for it

I've had the quietcomfort 1 loved them but wasn't really a fan of the cases large size, they were replaced with the qc ultra now i have the ultra open they're good, not bass forward , they dont get all waxy and gross either
