Powerful little bugger!

This punchy thing has a rich, deep sound even when hanging off a backpack, and truly resonates when it's set on a solid surface. The sound is clear and detailed at all volumes which is what I have always cherished about Bose products.

OK speaker, BAD company

Speaker is fine, BOSE is the problem. As owner of 2 of the previous iteration of PA systems (L system model II) I will tell you that they no longer carry the proprietary and ONLY cables usable to connect bass modules to their system. Product is less than 5 years old. This is bad business on the part of BOSE and why I will likely not purchase any further BOSE merch. Oh yeah, and they ditched all the support for the WAVE systems as well. Leaving previous customers high and dry is usually not a good long term corporate strategy.

Good midrange and bass for a small speaker

A recent purchase to update the 1st generation. Much easier to connect to Bluetooth?a pleasant surprise! I hear a more defined and articulate bass (I listen almost exclusively to Classical) so I know how much is dependent on the recording engineers but this speaker tries its best to compensate for what might be lacking.

I bought this from Bose's refurbished line, as it represented such excellent value for money. Surprisingly deep & punchy base & very strong & durable. Easy to set up using the app. Absolutely unmarked. You really wouldn't know it was "used". Thank you.

Pathetic!

I bought these speakers on the advice of the salesperson at JB HiFi with the information that the two speakers would pair with ease and have a stereo effect. I was told the sound was great. Well it didn't happen. No matter what I tried over a period of a week there was no way I could pair them. The sound was good but I could not find anyway to pair them even looking at tutorials or contacting Bose support. I explained to their chatbot and no solution was offered which was disappointing as I thought I might have been offered two new speakers with the possibility I had purchased a dysfunctional unit. Instead I bought two JBL's and they paired immediately. Very very disappointed!
