The sound quality is outstanding and gives a real feeling of vibrancy to both the TV shows or music you are listening too.

This soundbar uses AI to make speech louder at times when background noise or music threatens to overwhelm the words you are hearing. My hearing is deteriorating and this solved the problem. A word of warning though. You can only turn on this speech correction via an app on your smartphone. If your phone is steam driven, you can't enable it. Great soundbar for the money though.

Lovely looking and very well made, sits discretely under the T.V. Getting it to pair with app and a lack of instructions makes a beautiful purchase a little hard to swallow and not sure it warrants it's rather steep price tag.

I have had the Bose smart soundbar for about a week and a half. The initial set up was a little fiddly and the app seemed to be 'stuck' performing an update. I eventually unplugged the unit, waited 30 seconds and switched on again and everything fell into place. It is certainly a big improvement on my TV's speakers. It has great sound and I find the bass more than adequate. Music streaming is easy and the sound is also very good. However, I have yet to get any sense of height from the upfiring speakers, including from programmes with Dolby Atmos sound. Maybe I just haven't watched the right programmes/ films yet and I am still playing around with the settings. Time will tell. I'm sorry to say the app is poor. It is slow, frequently crashes and at one point was repeatedly requesting feedback. It seemed to be stuck in a loop and I had to uninstall and reinstall to stop it happening. In fact, my phone sent a push notification that the Bose app was crashing frequently and I should put it in a deep sleep! App aside, quite pleased with the soundbar so far.

I upgraded from the Bose TV Speaker, the 600 is hugely superior in sound quality. I probably should give it 5 stars but don't really have any experience to judge against. However the two small niggles I have is there isn't a 'numbered' volumne. Secondly which might be my lack of knowledge is the app always says playing from LPCM 2.0 not matter what I am watching? But I am very pleased with I do wish now though I brought the ultra smart bar as I am loving the improved sound and would like even better!

Had it two weeks and has proved good with speech although surround sound not great even with a Dolby Atmos feed from Netflix programmes. It needs rear speakers to provide a more realistic 'surround' experience. A real pain to set up as it required a software update and then stuck in update mode for hours when it indicates 'up to 25 minutes'. Needed help from support desk but their advice did not produce results. Had to delete soundbar from App and start again when it did update and was set for use. I will need to purchase surround speakers and probably a subwoofer to really experience a decent 'surround' sound.

I've now had this a month and the sound quality is fantastic and really doesn't need the sub woofer unless you really want that extra base. You can alter the sound to your choice it's not just set by manufacturer and the voices are enhanced so you still hear them in loud background scenes. Fully recommended A++

Having bought Bose products for the last 17 years I've found the sound to be the exceptional quality as the name has always been. However, the connectivity and reliability of connectivity is something Bose cannot get right when it comes to WiFi. Today I left the house with wife at home, the Spotify played from a few hours earlier and the unit would not turn off when my wife pressed the button to turn it off. The usual sound played but it just would not turn off. I actually drove home to try and connect the app but it wouldn't connect as didn't see the WiFi. So it somehow needed the WiFi to turn itself off? In the end the only way I could stop it playing was to remove the mains plug.. I cannot believe in 2025 still cannot get the WiFi part of technology right.. I also find the volume slide not very smooth in adjustment and sometimes jumping to high volume, something that was a problem in the past..

Product is amazing sound quality wise. It however does not work. When it works it's fantastic, but at this point I have sent it back three separate times for repair and none of the fixes has stuck for more than a couple of days. (The support line has actually been super helpful, no notes on them.) It's possible I just got a faulty model, but I cannot in good faith recommend this product with my experience.

Set up is super easy, but I'm having connectivity issues. I have an LG TV. According to Bose support technician the issue is my TV does not "play nice" with anything other than an LG sound bar, which I had before I got the Bose because the volume was not loud enough. That being said I will keep the Bose. I'm happy with the performance and love the built in Alexa. The surround sound is really cool. I like Survivor and it sounds like the crickets are chirping outside my window! I watch a concert on YouTube every Saturday! You won't be sorry you chose a Bose soundbar. Now I have to replace this crappy TV. Lol

I got the smart sound bar for my 40th birthday off my wife. I've had bose products for a long time. And I had the old acoustimass system for a VERY long time and its was perfect and never showed its ages and I must say bose is the cream as far as im concerned. Keep it up BOSE

The app does not work on my google phone. before I even enter my wifi password the enter button is over written by enter manually. it will not hook up as bluetooth either. I finally got it to hook up to the internet working it manually and it said activation failed. I am done. you would think a company as big as bose could figure it out. I am sending it back to bose.

I had the Bose solo 5 and was apprehensive about upgrading to the Bose smart speaker but the sound is very good and the voice clarity is great. Also the benefit of Alexa which is a doodle to set up. Thanks Bose

Came, (eventually),really well packed, quality equipment. All set up,all good, but not being able to turn off the 'truspace' was the deal breaker. Excellent returns experience with a very quick refund. Would undoubtedly be my first choice if the 'truspace' was switchable.

I've both this about a month ago, and the base in its self is very impressive. Also, having the Alexa functionality makes this product a regular use.

I got this bar just two weeks ago. Really easy to set up.. but because the brand name and price, I'm disappointed with the performance. I saw reviews, checked online, and I was expecting a real "immersive " sound? I'm thinking in just move it to a different room and leave in the living room the one that I was using, a bass for another brand, $170, and with a real profound sound! I think is my first and last Bose purchase.

Great sound bar and easy hookup. However, I need a sound bar with an opitical out connection not the optical in one. I use My Starkey app with Genius 24 hearing aids for streaming and I can't not stream with this sound bar to my aids. Unfortunately I will have to return.

Happy with it but could use more/better bass. But then I would have no need for the subwoofers tho . . . .

A Great Upgrade from the Solo 5 TV Speaker
By Atanarjuat
The Smart Soundbar was a much-needed upgrade from the Bose Solo 5 TV Speaker which I had been using and frankly had been finding a little underwhelming. I welcomed the Smart Soundbar to our living room a couple of weeks before Christmas, which was perfect timing in terms of taking it through its paces with all the binge-watching of movies and catching up on episodes! The Soundbar comes packaged with everything you need to get connected right away, and the set up is incredibly easy with the B...

Surpassed Expectations!
By WECK
This is my third Bose Soundbar purchase. It's more than I expected. I was jumping up from the Soundbar 300 and it's surpassed my expectations.

With Dolby Atmos® and TrueSpace technology, you hear sound that feels far bigger than the Smart Soundbar.
Enjoy Dolby Atmos®-enabled content with sound that moves around and above you.

Bose TrueSpace smartly upmixes non-Atmos content into full multi-channel audio.
With A.I. Dialogue Mode, voices are enhanced and balanced against background sound.

This soundbar delivers sound that feels three-dimensional.

With Amazon Alexa (built-in) or Google Assistant, you have hands-free control over everything.

Thanks to Bose Voice4Video technology, you can use Alexa to power on your TV, switch inputs, or adjust volume.
From guided setup to choosing all your preferences, the Bose app is the key to all Smart Soundbar has to offer. Connect the soundbar to your TV using either HDMI™ eARC/ARC or the optical audio connection (both cables are included) and hook it up to power. The Bose app walks you through the rest. You can then set up voice control and Voice4Video, manage Bose Wi-Fi-enabled products, update software, and browse all your music in one place.

With Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and Chromecast, stream music or podcasts the way you want.
