Great Sound bar !!

I purchased this to upgrade my SoundTouch 300 and I couldn't be happier, the sound is much crisper , clearer and of course Dolby sound !! I like that its smaller and a lot more options for controlling the sound through the app.

Great

I bought the Bose Smart Soundbar 300 to replace my Bose Solo 5. I enjoyed the Solo 5 but the sound from this blows it out of the water, especially when watching films with Dolby Atmos. I've only had it a couple of weeks but very impressed so far. I've seen some reviews complaining about having to use the Bose Music App and having problems, but so far I've not encountered any. I used the highest speed HDMI cable to connect the soubdbar to my TV using eArc and it was easy to set up. All in all I'm very pleased with this soundbar.

Too Smart Bose

We bought two smart sound bars. We hoped to enhance our TVs. We can NOT get the Bose and the TVs speakers to play together. We've tried every setup offered by the TV's audio. Still trying.

BOUGHT TO REPLACE OLD BROKEN SOUND THEATRE, WE WERE SOLD ON THE IDEA OF VOICE BOOST, WHICH REALLY WORKS. BIT OF WORK NEEDED TO GET DOWNLOADS DONE FOR BLUETOOTH. MY TV ONLY HAS 2 HMDI, ONE FOR SKY, ONE FOR DVD PLAYER, SO HAVE TO USE OPTICAL CONNECTION, THIS MEANS I DON'T GET VOLUME CONTROL ON TV CONTROL. QUALITY SOUND WHEN I USE HMDI CABLE AND PROBABLY AMAZING IF WE HAD E CONNECTION.GOOD POINTS ARE CABLES COME WITH THE UNIT. WIFE LOVES THE FACT THAT THE PLACE LOOKS TIDY NOW. Sounds good, but one remote feature with roku has a bug. When power up the TV and Your Sound Bar with ROKU remote. The sounds comes on for a couple of seconds and the turns off. I have to retrieve the sound bar's remote to tell it to turn on. Been this way since i installed it

Worthwhile upgrade

Purchased a few weeks ago to replace my BOSE TV Speaker which incidentally barely works at all with the Bass Module 500. The Smart soundbar is a big improvement together with the Module 500 and the BOSE App which allows you to tweak the sound including the bass module. One thing I'm not a big fan of is that you cannot disable Bose True Space if you do not care for spatial sound effect to listen to music out of a speaker.

Fantastic Sound

This replaced an old 5.1 Speaker and Amp system (another brand) that failed. This soundbar is great quality and fantastic sound. I prefer more bass so, I ordered the 700 Bass unit to compliment this. Absolutely love that both are wireless and controlled via the Bose App. They have GREAT sound, WOW!! Now, if I only had the 2 surround speakers.......

Neat and good clear sound

Had initial difficulty in setting it up as I was not aware that you have to have a Bose account before the unit can be accessed via Bluetooth. Once I set up an account the rest was easy enough to sort out. We don't need the other facilities that the soundbar has, we simply wanted a better sound from the TV. This unit delivers good clear sound and we are very pleased with this reasonably priced item

Great sound

Recently bought the smart sound bar with the bass 500 unit to replace my aging Bose 321 system. Though the sound was great, I found the soundstage in my place was lacking so I added the surround speakers which made it a true 7.1 surround system with great sound - especially with movies.

Expected sound

Great Bose sound as you would expect, but definitely Needs the sub to go with it. I got the sub on sale, and now it gives that Bose full spectrum sound we all know and love. Yes, it will crank enough to make your neighbor mad on movies or music. Couldn't be more pleased for the price point asked. Got both the bar and the sub on sale. Don't think it's worth the regular asking price, but if it's on sale it's a bargain.
