I have misophonia and couldn't find earbuds that truly blocked noise in airports, crowded areas, etc. The Ultra earbuds work wonders. I'm thrilled with my purchase. Only negative was the color white smoke. They appeared white on the website so I was disappointed in receiving gray ones

I really liked the 1st gen Quiet Comfort Ultra earbuds, but was frustrated by connection issues and the sensitivity of the touch controls. The 2nd gen has fixed these issues thankfully - after several months I'm still not getting any connection drop-outs and the ability to turn off touch controls has been great. Now when I'm running, I can adjust or wipe sweat off the buds without pausing the music. And of course, as the name Quiet Comfort suggests, these are the most comfortable earphones I've ever worn (I can wear them all day) and the noise cancellation is second to none. And I love the sound quality.

Definitely the best for noise cancelling. Quality of the sound is what you expect for the quality of the earbuds. Since the last firmware update, the quality and clearness of calls as improve tremendously.

The moment you out them in lifes busy schedule disappears. Every now and again it has a Bluetooth hick up, but im sure the next firmware upgrade will address that.

I love the sound and the comfort of these earbuds. However, I get volume surges for no apparent reason, which makes them. I've never had this issue with my Samsung or JBL products. These weren't worth the extra money for the "supposed" upgrade!

I've gone back and forth between Bose and Beats earbuds over the years. These earbuds are so close to having everything I could want. Pros: 1. ANC: I live near a lot of construction and the noise cancelling mostly blocks it out and has made working from home a lot more pleasant. I love being able to switch to Aware mode easily. I have messed around with the other modes too much since I've found those two modes meet my needs. (Also way better ANC than the Powerbeats Pro 2 that I had prior) 2. Comfort: I can't get AirPods to stay in my ears, even with their eartips so this is an important category. It took me a couple of combinations with the eartips and wings to figure out my fit but I'm pretty happy with them now. The wired bose soundsport did have the best fit of all headphones I've ever had but these are a close second and more compact. I do still get a little nervous with them falling out on walks since I live in a city but haven't had issues yet. 3. Design: I got the desert gold and love that it just looks better than AirPods or most earbuds on the market. 4. Sound quality: I'm not an audiophile but the sound quality is noticeably way better than my Powerbeats Pro 2. Cons: 1. Touch sensitivity: I find the controls kind of annoying for volume and that's easy to accidentally touch the controls and change something. It's not a frequent issue but does happen every now and then. 2. Battery life: the battery life is why I initially switched from Bose to Beats years ago. The charging case is a huge improvement and I am able to use the earbuds a full work day with some breaks, but it could still be better in this area. Also you're only able to see the charge levels in the app in 10% increments which is minor but Powerbeats Pro 2 let you see the exact percentage on the battery widget on your phone which was just more convenient. 3. Find My Feature: Not having a location feature is one of the biggest downsides. Everyone knows these small earbuds and even the case are prone to getting lost and it would be reassuring to have this feature just in case. Right now I'm using a pouch with an AirTag to keep track of it. I almost bought the silicone case from Bose but it doesn't clearly state whether wireless charging would still work. 4. Apple integration: the Bose app is easy to use (though I'm bitter they don't have the option to connect my older devices anymore), but obviously Beats and AirPods have the advantage with overall usability/Apple integration. I have some spotty connectivity issues that aren't a big deal but also didn't happen as much with my Beats. 5. Customer service: I had a couple issues trying to get customer service, particularly when trying to confirm price match information. I was eventually able to get the holiday price matched promised on the website when I bought it but it was fortunately only because I had screenshots from when I originally purchased it, otherwise the agents tried to claim that the price match didn't apply and didn't even know about the holiday price match listed on the website when I messaged about it. Overall I love these earbuds, I'm listening to more music already because the ANC and sound quality are that good. I got it $50 off for early holiday deals and eventually price matched with Best Buy at $216, but I still think that some of those other features would be better given the price point.

Great sound quality, design and class leading noise cancellation. Good customisation options via the Bose app. The connection is not as strong as Pixel buds pro or Airpods Pro (owned them both), can be a bit hit and miss at times with its stability even though am not using them any differently.

I got them from my Girlfriend as a early Christmas gift. Great sound when listening to music and the Quite feature is unmatched however when talking on the phone, it often sounded computerized.

I bought these earbuds last week and am using it everyday - love the clarity and ANC feature is amazing. I used it during my weekly run and really loved the comfort. Whilst I have not used different modes in the app, I am shuffling between outdoor and quiet mode. So far loving this earbuds.

Noise canceling is best out of all of the ear buds on the market. They are very comfortable and fit my ear perfect. Sounds quality is second to none!!! I highly recommend them!

I am very pleased with these. They fit well, sound well and are comfortable. I am a carpenter so the noise cancellation was what I was looking for and was pleased by its effectiveness. The one touch mode change from aware to silent is great when you work with high decibel tools then have to switch to a conversation and back again.

I tried a pair of Apple airpods 3 pro and was unable to use them because they did not work optimally with Teams on my PC. There is an incompatibility issue that does not allow for optimal volume. Bose reduced the price - which was the same as the airpods and I am very pleased with them. They are comfortable and the noise cancelling is outstanding. I just learned that the earbuds can be tracked with the Bose Connect App, but the downside is that it is not as effective as the Find My app on iphones.

Good sound and great noise cancelling. The connection could be better, my older NC 700 seems to have more stable connection when connected to multiple devices. The mic has choppy sound when connected to laptop and when calling on Whatsapp from phone. The fit is good and the earphones are comfortable but you'll need to lay them off for a while after couple hours of constant use. The battery life also could have been better but I can't complain with the noise cancelling being top notch. No one except bose can do it better. Overall 3.5/5 just because some things could have been better especially at this price.
