The glasses produce amazing sound When your playing music. I can not say how great they are for that. They are good looking glasses but kind of big design-wise. And they're super smooth which is cool but they might slide off your head. I recommend using something to hokd them in place like the ear hooks i use. Making voice calls is another story. They start off good but not great. And that's in a quiet environment. In a noisy environment, the caller cam be hard to hear and they have difficulty hearing you. Over time, the quality also seems to degrade. About two weeks before the year, they supposed turning on. A friend who uses them about 3-4x as much for phone calls (he actually bought three of them for that purpose) had die about 6 months in. But Bose really took care of him and me and replaced them. I recommend them highly with the caveat that of you need them for calls, it may or may not sounds great depending on many things. But for music and podcasts they are simply amazing.

I got a pair of these for Christmas, best present ever. The sound quality is absolutely phenomenal. I just wish they has clear lenses so I could use them indoors.

I was one of the first to get their hands on this product as part of the pre-release package. I wasn't sure what to expect initially, but now, I can't live without them :-) This is one of the most innovative designs this decade. Whenever I show someone, they are blown away at the clarity, and volume, especially considering the size of the speakers. Great for phone calls and music. I use them all the time. All they need to be complete is a option for clear indoor lenses and the ability to order the lenses in scripts.

Got as a gift for Christmas, previously owned a few pairs of Zungle Sunglasses. These things are amazing, the Sound quality is exactly what I would expect from Bose. The only complaint that I have is that Bose doesn't sell clear lenses for them. I really wish they did. I love using them as sunglasses, but I would love to use them indoors without looking like that weird guy who wears sunglasses inside.

Another good product from Bose! I did not give 5 stars because I don't like how they do not conform to your face. With them being flat, if the sun is behind me, I get a glare on the inside of the lens right back into my eyes. I have also noticed that while trying to talk on the phone via Bluetooth with some wind, the person on the other end of the call gets muted out sometimes. I think that might be the glasses trying to over compensate the wind or something. I know some are saying that the base needs to be better but come on. Your working with tiny speakers. I think they work just fine for the size of the glasses.

I absolutely love these speaker/glasses. Sound is a little metallic, but I run in these, I sit around the house in these and they are close to perfect. You can listen to music and no one even knows. The frames need to be a little stronger, cause I’m hard on glasses. I absolutely hate sticking earplugs in my ears. Over the ear headphones look stupid. These are nice and very comfortable. They slip a little during my runs but not bad. Sound is pretty good depending on your style of music. Heavy base music not so much. Please add a photo chromatic lens! I need these for night runs too. Thanks Bose, you never disappoint. Also the ease of use is incredible. Turning on takes about two seconds with one button push. Turning off takes about three seconds and is accomplished by simply turning the frames over as if to lay them on a table, 3 seconds and they’re off. Great stuff.

wore them in the store, love the sound. Wife got them for me for Xmas 2019. Can't wear them indoors where I would benefit the most because of the tinted lenses. Wish they had a clear lens option that I could get with reading lenses. These would be great to wear at work at my desk instead of the bulky over-ear headphones or earbuds that hurt after several hours, if they had a reading lens option.

This is a great product don’t get me wrong, but I, like many others, wear glasses everyday and don't wear contacts. If I want to use them I’d be blind. There should be an option to have prescription lenses put in automatically. Lots of brands that make sunglasses do this. And with these headphone glasses, it will most definitely be worth the time and effort. By the way this option doesn’t have to be free, many companies add a charge on top of it for the lenses, usually they are somewhere between $30-60. Please work this out! I’d love to get a new pair after this major hindrance is fixed.

If polarised had levels 1-10, 1 being the worst this is a 1. Bose isn't a frames company and i know that but i picked up a pair of nike glasses and the polarise lens is top notch. I like the mirrored look for these glasses though

Purchased a week ago and have used it extensively while driving in another state while on business. It is great to not have to reach for the phone for directions, changes in music, a news update, etc. All while wearing a good pair of sunglasses. Looking forward to future integrations with (hopefully) Uber/Lyft, Pandora and other commonly used apps.

The Bose Frames were a perfect solution for a problem I thought would never be solved,, that is listening to music while commuting to and from work on my scooter. I can't wear earbud headphones when riding my scooter in the city because I need to be able to hear my surroundings in order to have a safe ride. But with the Frames I can safely listen to music and still hear my surroundings during my commute. I need to wear sunglasses anyway, so now I can wear these AND listen to music, without having dangling wires or extra devices. And sound quality is great.

Connect easily to my Iphone and the sound quality is superb without impacting those around me. Really wish there were transition or clear lenses available and then I'd wear them all the time.

I wear these when I walk my dog. They connected perfectly to my iPhone within a few seconds. The battery life if just fine. I charge them when they get to about 30%. I would like to have reader lens and that would make them perfect. I like the choice of changeable lens.

I originally had my Bose sunglasses with grey lenses and now also have the mirrored polarized lenses. They came packaged in a padded box which clips shut with a magnet therefore, can be used again and again to store which ever lenses you are not using at the time. The lenses themselves are crystal clear and according to Bose stop 99% of UV light. Personally, I would have been much happier if they were darker, however, as people no doubt also use them whilst driving, I guess there is a limit to how dark they can make them because of going through tunnels etc. If you have never worn glasses and had the task of clipping a lens back in place, I guess you may find switching lenses a bit fiddley at first. There are plenty of videos online though and as soon as you have done it once, its easy. Overall, they are what I expected and I am happy with them.

These glasses are great. My husband bought them for me and I was skeptical at first, until I put them on and hooked up my iPhone (very easy with bose connect). These are fantastic! I also wish I had reader lenses in 1.5 and that the charging cable was sold separately so I have an extra charger at work. Although that said, the battery is pretty hearty and lasts quite a while. I forget that I have a headphone on, unless I get a call in and am notified. At the end of the day, without playing music, they are still at 100%...

There is not a lot to say about these. I got the mirrored lens with the glasses. The mirrored finish isn’t over the top like some mirrored glasses you see, and they provide a nice alternative to the dark lens on occasion I fancy a change. For me, the important thing is that Bose has made the glasses with easy replaceable lenses and sell them for a reasonable price. I have had sunglasses in the past with the lens pop out and be lost, or the lens be badly scratched from my lack of care, so there is some peace of mind here. Fitting the lens feels a bit scary at first, it took a reasonable amount of force to get them out, but overall it was quite easy, and the fitting is very secure so I doubt these will pop out.

I have had Bose Frames just over a month and after using the original black lenses I swapped to the Blue Gradient. I do prefer the blue lenses as they allow you go between sun and shade more easily. I found the original black lenses great for the rare times the UK has strong sunshine, but found the blue ones much better suited to changeable weather. I found that changing over the lenses was straight forward once you followed the instructions. Once they were in I was initially not sure how secure they would be, but after three weeks of being used daily they have not fallen out. The Alto style is a classic design and Bose have yet again ensured produce a product with style and function!

I was provided with these and the Frames for a review. The lenses are high quality, easy to replace, and look great. If I had one nitpick, it's that they're tricky to clean well if you manage (like I did) to get greasy fingerprints on them the second you opened the packaging! They feel more different than I expected to the original lenses, blocking out a lot more light, but still retaining good visibility.
