I am very satisfied with this new Bose system. I must say I noticed a big improvement after I updated software through my phone. I’d buy it again.

Wow! Just wow! "Feel the thunder" is not an understatement. Even at low volume, this wonder of technolgy, shakes the walls. Literally; photos on the walls, in adjacent rooms, have to be realigned on a daily basis. "Is that a truck passing the house?', "No, its the television." The whole" Bose" sound system is awesome And to think... I hesitated. I love it!

This is an excellent addition to your SoundTouch 300 sound bar. Bass is unbelievable. But if you order online and have never seen this in person. Be prepared. It is larger and heavier than you think. SoundTouch 300 also gives you excellent sound control of this unit.

As a subwoofer and speaker guy i was sceptic to spend the money on a unit but upon recieval i was blown away. I have to say the acoustimass 300 is definitely a best buy of my long audio career. I now am a dedicated customer and the other name brands are long lost thaughts. The Acoustimass 300 has the sound range from a trickling stream all the way to a roaring fighter jet with the sleekness of a Bentley Coupe. If i were to spend another dollar on audio equipment it would be bose!! Thanks again to the dedicated bose team for all the hard work.

I bought the complete package from Best Buy a few weeks back and OMG...! It's really nice! I live in an apartment so I can really blast it :( like I want to but I have turn the volume up a bit to appreciate the sound quality and it's pretty amazing! My only thing and I know others have said I wish and hope Bose comes out with an app update to where u can turn up and down the volume on the sub and the surround speakers as well, but other then that sounds pretty pretty pretty good! Thumbs up to boss ! Although I haven't got the full on turning it up and vibrating the walls like others have with it being mainly at low volumes it still delivers enough punch to enjoy suck quality and clarity! Definitely sounds more so better with a 4K blu ray player( Xbox one s! ) games sound awesome as well! Just overall amazing! Thanks Bose for such an outstanding product! I look forward to seeing those updates maybe!! :)o

I bought both the 300 sound bar and 300 acoustimass. offcourse you need to have the sound bar for the acoustimass to work. I had a sony home theater earlier and wanted to upgrade. I am very happy with this purchase. Bose sounds great. Very pleasant to the ears and heart. Everyone in my family just loves the effects and acoustics of Bose. Sony is nowhere. Bit expensive but you get in peace with this system when you hear it. I heard this in Bestbuy store and it was just awesome. I would go and play it whenever I go to bestbuy. It just got into my head. Bass is adjustable from the Soundtouch 300 remote and is easy. Cons: Sometime there is a disconnect when playing via bluetooth. Maybe due to interference from other bluetooth devices that I have. I don't know.

I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to review the soundtouch bar first, which was such an amazing product. Then I was given the opportunity to review it's partner, the acoustimass 300. This product was very properly packaged with simple instruction on how to remove it from the box. This product is a about a good 30 lbs and has a very sleek look to match the soundtouch bar with the glass top. The remote for the soundtouch bar is used to pair the two together and seemed like easy instructions, which I followed, but I didn't get the base sound that I wanted from my experience. Maybe the one I received was defective or maybe it was me. I will never give bose a bad review though because I have always owned bose products and they have never failed. I have owned the cinemate 15 system and that sound was amazing! I look forward for more opportunities with reviewing Bose products!

I have never had such a great sounding set up in my life. The bass module added to the soundbar is amazing. You can actually feel the bass. My teenage son also loves it. I definitely would recommend bose to friends. The design is also a plus, it looks great.

Let me just say straight away that I really like the Acoustimass 300. There is no question that I would recommend it to someone else looking for a similar product. And the only reason I gave it 4 vs 5 stars will/should be fixed with a software update. The Acoustimass 300 is one of if not the best looking piece of electronic equipment I've owned or seen. I actually hate having it in a place where it isn't directly on display as it sits beside my TV and the soundbar at the front of the room. The shape, piano black color, and glass top are amazing. This is one sub that I wouldn't feel obligated to bury behind other equipment to avoid it being an eyesore. The setup was a piece of cake. It took me all of 20 minutes to unbox, connect the Sub wirelessly to the SoundTouch 300 , and run the "tuning" program. From there I was streaming music from Amazon Prime in another 2 minutes. While unboxing isn't normally a big deal and a part of videos I skip over, the unboxing on this is really very cool. The packaging is designed to protect and slide the Sub out of his box in a smooth and easy way to mitigate the weight of the Sub. Really well done Bose. Sound wise the Acoustimass 300 is a top notch product. The sound is rich, deep, and full. It does all of this with any rattle from the enclosure and staying in a range consistent with its' abilities. The one issue, and the reason for the docked star, is the inability to more greatly adjust the volume of the Sub either in concert with the Soundbar or separate from the soundbar. Now I do want to say that I may be missing something but as far as I can tell there are 4 sound levels for the "bass" setting on the remote used for both devices. At the highest setting I found the bass on the Sub to still be a little to low while it seemed on the money on the soundbar. I would really like Bose to do 2 things or have someone respond informing how to do these 2 things. 1 - I'd like to be able increase the overall volume of the bass independently of the Soundbar. 2 - I like to be able to fine tune the crossover frequency of the Sub. Assuming Bose works in the ability to more precisely and widely adjust the volume of the bass independent of the soundbar this is hands down a 5 star device. Without that i realistically give 4.5/5 stars. Keep up the good work Bose sound and design engineers. You guys and gals are doing an amazing job.

This is the best ever Acoustimass I have ever seen. I just could not think anything negative about this product! Very easy and quick setup No wires around It is the heaviest module! 30lb..which is producing a stable bass effect with out any vibrations Very much suitable for apartment living as it did not pass on the vibration to other apt even with higher volume as it is well blended with adaptiq design.. And the sound quality is just amazing and rich!!! Looks so good, decorative.. We don't have to worry about kids throwing stuffs in to woofer holes.. this module is well designed to avoid that... This is greatest compliment to the sound bar 300...!!!

Began my experience with the SoundTouch 300 which was amazing! After a couple of weeks I began to notice what I thought was a blown speaker with vibration sounds. Then something fell off my mantle, which is where I chose to put the soundbar. I realized that it was due to the fact that the soundbar has the ability to put out pretty good bass. When I obtained the Acoustimass 300 it made a huge difference! The bass tones were even more richer than the stand-alone. Set up was incredibly easy, but access to complete instructions on line is necessary to tell you how to tell if the sub paired with the soundbar. Access to the online manual was great because I learned many more things about how to use the Acoustimass. For instance, when watching a news show, sometimes voices are not the clearest in a room with other noise such as someone washing dishes. There is a button on the remote that allows you to back off ambient noise in the program and allow focus on voices. It definitely helps my husband whose hearing isn't always the best be able to hear the news stories better. However, when watching a movie or other TV shows, just push the button and the deep tones come back. The amount of bass can also be adjusted from the remote rather than having to dig behind the module to make the adjustment. One thing that I'm not completely satisfied with is the buttons on the remote. I can usually memorize where buttons are on remotes, but because the buttons barely stand above the surface, it is sometimes difficult to decide which button my finger is on. Some small bumps on certain buttons could help with that. However, I love the functionality of the remote as it operates everything, flawlessly. Compared to other sound systems I have owned Bose continues to improve something every time. Ease of use with wireless & bluetooth capability and operation from the remote is where I find a huge improvement.

I already have the soundtouch 300 soundbar and that itself sounds amazing but adding this wireless bass you are going to complete the best surround system that you ever going to own. I recieved the Acoustimass Subwoofer in the mail and hooked it up immediately. The set up was painless, it connects after just pressing a couple buttons. I immediately realized the difference in sound quality. The bass is clear and has a very high sound quality. The system looks amazing sitting in my room, it's almost like a decorative piece.

I can no longer say, “I am more than satisfied with all aspects of the sound without the optional components.” Now that I have added the Acoustimass 300 Wireless Bass Module, my listening experience has become so much more enriched that I cannot imagine being satisfied with just the SoundTouch 300 Soundbar. And, let me tell you why... The Acoustimass 300 Bass Module is unlike your typical bass subwoofer. You don't just hear the sound, you feel the sound. The sound feels like it's coming at you from all directions vs. just a single fixed point. This is due to the “quietport” technology used by Bose in the bass module (“quietport” technology is also used in the soundbar for similar sound delivery). In addition, your typical subwoofer is usually designed to optimize sound for either movies or music. I won't go into the technical and physical properties of the two typical subwoofer types. But, I will go straight to the bottom-line: the Acoustimass 300 Bass Module performs excellently with both movies and music. The end-result is a bass module which adds a whole other dimension to your listening experience. When playing movies or watching TV, regardless if I was watching an action movie, football game, or other, the Acoustimass 300 made movie sound effects feel as though they were happening in my living room, and made me feel I was on the football field as one football player tackled another football player. And, for music, the bass module provides a solid, bottom-end of deep bass sound – regardless of the type of music. I listened to everything from acoustic guitar instrumental to pop/rock to jazz to classical to EDM (electronic dance music) to see if the Acoustimass 300 performed as expected – and it did in every scenario. Obviously, the sound of the Acoustimass 300 Bass Module is what I was most concerned with. But, I would like to mention that this product is built well and looks great. You can place it anywhere you wish to put it in your room. And connecting it to the SoundTouch 300 soundbar is a breeze – simply plug it into an electrical outlet, turn it on, use the remote provided with the SoundTouch 300 to pair it to the soundbar, and used the ADAPTIQ headset (provided with the soundbar) to perform audio calibration. All done in less than five minutes. The bottom-line: The Bose Acoustimass 300 Bass Module is an excellent addition to the Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar. I highly recommend the purchase of both products. As I found out, the listening experience becomes so enriched and full when both products are in use together.

Upon receiving the Acoustimass 300, I was immediately impressed by the size and overall look of the item. It was fairly compact for such a powerful item which makes it more useable. I loved the fact that it looks great with the Soundtouch 300 Soundbar as it makes for a very polished look. The setup was easy and I liked the fact that it connects wirelessly to the soundbar as that is much more appealing to me that multiple wires all over the place. Upon first use I was hooked. The sound quality is stunning! The bass that is provided amplifies your viewing experience in everyway possible. It enhances tv, movies, video streaming in every way possible. There is nothing about this item to complain about as it gives you that perfect movie/entertainment going experience. I think Bose has really outdone themselves with this one. A huge hit with our home.

I added the bass module to my sound touch bar after I saw a friends bass module for a different brand of sound system so I could try it out on mine. I really wanted to upgrade my movie experience at home so I could enjoy movies like I do at the theater. And this bass module did not disappoint. It was relatively easy to connect, you use the same things that you used to calibrate the sound touch bar and I was up and running in 5 minutes. The first thing that you notice about the module is the size. It's a relatively good size whichever gives you a preview of just how much bass it can push out. I've had a bass sub woofer for PC speakers before and this module is 2-3x larger than that. I tried out the module at first with some Lord of the Rings and Inception and I had the floors shaking with how much bass it was able to push out. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as using music with these speakers but they are also amazing. The bass setting that is on the sound touch bar also extends to the bass module so you can either boost up how much bass it's using or lower it. It also has the ability to turn off the module using the sound touch app in case you want to use just the bar and satellite speakers. I recommend this bass module to anyone who wants to kick up their listening experience. You won't be disappointed.

It's just made for the Bose 300. By itself Bose 300 is great, with this it becomes the perfect home theater. It's very powerful and the impact is so real it makes the movie experience totally different. I'm a semi-hifi hobbyist. So music is very important to me too. This is the part I wish the bass can be a bit deeper. Bose 300 soundbar seems to be able to connect to any bass module with a 3.5mm cable. I've not tested it yet but might in the future for this reason.

In a simple and short word, WOW. This is a fantastic bass module for the sound bar that I already have. Before, I thought that the bar itself was good enough. However, once I acquire this module, I can't imagine my movies and my music without it. As always in my reviews, I will place my positive and perhaps "opportunities of improve" for this module: Positive: 1. Power... this module has a lot of bass power! It is surprising how much power it is possible to have from this module and yet, without any distortion of sound or lose of quality, it is a smooth increase of bass until you suddenly realize that your whole body is vibrating with the music... simply fantastic. 2. Easy to configure, is just matter of sync it with the sound bar and the entire module immediately acquires the presets and room configuration already established by the sound bar, become an awesome complement. 3. Design. This is a very important point for me. A lot of times we sacrifice aesthetics for power OR performance. But in this one, there's no need for that, I just simply love it... I LOVE IT... Even my wife, who doesn't care about this and prefers the audio devices to be hidden so they can't b seen, only heard, says that is very beautiful... it is even prettier than the sound bar... So my point (sorry about the excitement), I am not sacrificing anything and I am having all the power, pristine performance, and beauty... all in one package. 4. Quality of materials: Yes ladies and gentlemen, this is a component that seems WAY MORE EXPENSIVE due to the quality of all the materials. The glass surface, the discrete and elegant BOSE logo... I mean, it is a high quality Item... Improvements: 1. Size: This is perhaps THE ONLY kind of chance of improvement. For me (and my wife), this element is a little bit big and heavy... I know that Bose is awesome making elements to have the same quality and reduce its size so, perhaps that can be an area of improvement. But trust me, it is not a big deal... in fact, I am trying to find something in the middle of this perfect element... As a conclusion, if you already have the sound bar and you are considering if you should buy this item... let me tell you... if you have the budget, PLEASE DO IT!!!! You won't regret it and the experience will be FANTASTIC.
