Best device since the iPhone!

This device is the perfect solution for modernizing older audio systems that do not have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity! I rarely get impressed or excited by technology. But I was floored by how simply and inexpensive of a solution this device was. When I was having my condo built I had Bose in-wall speakers installed throughout, along with a three zone multi-room Bose amplifier. For the last few years I have been frustrated that there was no good way to integrate my built in system with my mobile devices, computers, and Internet music applications. I bought three of these adapters – one to connect to each zone’s RCA input. I paired each adapter to my iPhone and MacBook, and the zone for my office is also paired with my iMac. Now I can run each zone off a different device, or use one to play throughout my entire condo. In addition to updating my built-in speakers to today’s technology, I was also able to update my home theater system as well. I added a 3.5mm headphone jack splitter to the adapter on my primary zone, which had been controlled through my Bose home theater system but now uses the Bose Bluetooth adaptor. Off the splitter I send one RCA audio cable to my built-in zone 1 input and one to the Aux input of my Bose home theater system. So now I can play my iTunes Library, Internet music, and applications through it as well. I am amazed that for less that $200 I was able to modernize my built-in audio and home theater systems.

Using in the car

Installed this in my car, it turns on when the car is turned on and my phone automatically connects. When I turn the car off, it also shuts off, works perfectly. It's inside the center console and make a faint beep when the phone connects which is a good indicator that everything is working. Audio quality is great.

Audio Output Signal Needs Amplification

I connect my cell phone via Bluetooth to this Bose device. From this Bose, I use a stereo wire to connect this device to the input connector to my car stereo and I am able to play the music stored in cell phone through my car stereo. This device would be perfect, but Bose should have amplified the "audio out" from this unit. I have to set the volume on my cell phone to maximum, and the volume control on my car stereo to higher than normal. Basically, the music sounds muted because the "audio out" signal from this device is not amplified. I had to purchased the "Sound Shocker Pro" to pre-amplify the signal and it corrected the muted sound. Bose, you should have an option to be able to amplify the output audio from this unit and this device would be perfect.

Nice little device

This little device bluetooth enabled my old onkyo audio receiver. I liked the fact that Bose provided multiple cables to connect, I used the fiber optic cable.

Quick setup and FANTASTIC sound

My husband and I just purchased this bluetooth adapter to use with our v35 system (about 6 years old). Setup was quick, easy, and the sound is amazing as I stream music from my iPhone 6 to our system, which is contained within our coat closet in our entryway. Worth every penny and then some!

From 2003 to 2016 in seconds

I have an Acoustic Wave from 2003. While I could always plug my iPhone or iPad into it, in these WiFi days why not upgrade? My Wave is in like new condition and provides perfect sound for my space. It took all of 30 seconds to set up and bring my Wave forward 13 years! Love it!

Simply the best bluetooth adapter in the market

I bought this adapter for my Wave Radio/CD a week or so ago. I've bought several bluetooth adapters over the last couple of years and this is easily the best. The connection is solid. I can leave the Bose Radio and Bluetooth on all the time and immediately connect with my iPhone or iPad to play music. The build quality is excellent and the optical out allows you to connect the adapter to a high-end receiver as well if you like.

Great Product!

I had a very nice pair of companion 5 computer speakers. I was going to sell them cheap just so I could get a blue tooth speaker. The adapter is very easy to use and took less than a minute to set up. Highly recommend for anyone whose sick of having to have a phone hooked up to an aux cord. Oh and the speakers sound exactly the same as having an aux cord set up.

Perfect Bluetooth streaming solution for car!

This is exactly what i wanted! I wanted a Bluetooth streaming solution that would power on with the car and automatically connect to my phone to stream music. It does just that. So I basically set it up and then just never have to touch it again. My phone automatically connects within seconds of the car turning on. The sound is clean, no distortion, no hissing or buzzing sounds which are common with cheap solutions. Also no issues with connectivity. Completely satisfied. Thank you Bose!

FAST setup!

I bought this adapter yesterday when I went to the stores in search for the Bose soundtouch 30 or the Sonos play 5 to replace my awesome but old Bose 321 system, but the idea of having a unit without the subwoofer turned me into getting this Bluetooth adapter an used the optic cable and the sound is UNREAL! And I saved over 400 dollars, thank you Bose

Works great!

I bought one today and hooked it up to my old very System and it was easy to attach using the RCA connectors. BUT, for the life of me, I couldn't get a sound out. It was until a turned a cable around (both ends looked the same to me), it works. Now, I can Blue Tooth from my new computer to old system. It still sounds great and loud enough for my wife to complain from upstairs. Wish I did this sooner.

Cuts in and out

Product was working well for the first couple weeks, but now (no matter the device) the audio cuts in and out consistently. Our other devices do not cut out with other Bluetooth pairings

Simple and convenient addition to my Cinemate 15

After purchasing the Cinemate 15 system I found myself wanting to stream my iPhone through it. The Bose® Bluetooth® adapter was the solution. It was very easy to setup, and simple to sync. I use it with my laptop, desktop, phone, and an iPod. Syncing a device is as simple as pressing on the Bluetooth® light on the top of the unit. It is always ready to go when I press play.

I have been waiting for this for a long time.

I own three 321, had them for years and they are great the only down side was that they did not have Bluetooth. I saw this Bluetooth adapter at the Bose store and I had to have it. Before I purchased it I asked the Bose rep if it would work on my 321's and he said that it would work on anything that the compatible connections. I connected it to my 321 in no time and sounded great. Very happy with this product.

Awsome!

I stepped in for browsing products and asked about a Bluetooth adaptor. I got interested in Bose Bluetooth for its unique feature that other similar products don't have: optic cable connection output. It works perfect with my powerful audio system at home now. I can play songs from my smartphone and enjoy this great digital sound that the system delivers. I am extremely satisfied :)

Works great in my new BMW

My radio in my new BMW unfortunately did not support music streaming (a2dp profile) from my cell phone. This adapter solved the problem, and it works great. Installation couldn't have been easier; a simple cable connection to the car aux-input, with power from the USB jack, and one press on top of the adapter to pair the devices.

Beware of Trying This With Older Wave Systems

Absolutely does not work older Wave Radios (with aux I put). Pairs but no sound output. Returning to the Navy Exchange where I purchased the device.

Won't work with my sound dock 10

I bought this because the specs stated that it works with sound docks which have an aux input. Arrived today and plugged in...no go. Beyond frustrated. Why Bose don't you provide solutions to help keep my $700 sound dock functional. I feel so ripped off by Bose.

Great Device

I am not sure about negative reviews. Make sure volume is up on input device (iPhone, Laptop etc.). Range is excellent and I find no degradation of sound quality. I have many bluetooth devices and this one is excellent.
