Just as the heart of the CCS 1000 Digital Discussion System, the Bosch CCSD-CU Control Unit is designed to seamlessly integrate and manage all connected Discussion Devices. This robust unit supplies DC power and offers comprehensive monitoring and control capabilities, ensuring smooth operation of your discussion system. With its user-friendly touch button controls and intuitive LED indicators, configuring and operating the unit is straightforward and efficient.
The rear of the Control Unit is equipped with conveniently positioned connections, allowing for easy integration of peripheral equipment such as audio systems and Bosch HD Conference Domes. Its plug-and-play functionality supports the quick and easy connection of up to 80 Discussion Devices, eliminating the need for system power downs or restarts during installation or reconfiguration.
Advanced system management is made simple with intuitive web browser control, enabling both basic and advanced settings to be viewed and adjusted via a tablet, laptop, or PC. This feature includes microphone management and recording options, with changes automatically synchronized between the web interface and the Control Unit. For enhanced security, separate login rights are available for operators and technicians, preventing unauthorized access to system settings.
The Bosch CCSD-CU Control Unit also features a built-in MP3 recorder with internal memory and USB recording capabilities, as well as Digital Acoustic Feedback Suppression (DAFS) to ensure superior speech intelligibility. Native support for automatic HD camera control further enhances the system's versatility.
Two models are available: the CCSD-CU and the CCSD-CURD, the latter offering additional features like MP3 recording and DAFS. The CCSD-CURD's four RCA outputs are optimized for courtroom use, facilitating the recording of individual speakers.
The Control Unit offers multiple microphone modes, including Open Mode, Override Mode, Voice Activation Mode, and Push to Talk (PTT) Mode, allowing for flexible discussion control. The 'Number of Open Microphones' (NOM) button on the unit allows for the selection of up to four microphones, extendable to ten via the web browser.
Peripheral equipment integration is seamless, with support for system cameras, external microphones, sound reinforcement systems, audio equipment, external audio processors, telephone couplers, and external recorders. A micro USB connector at the rear facilitates computer connections for transferring recordings from the unit's internal memory.
The Control Unit's controls and indicators include a mains power on/off button with a red/green LED indicator, volume range setting buttons with LED indicators, a microphone-mode button, and an open microphone button, all designed for ease of use and clear system status indication.
