i bought mine about 3years ago now they wont charge and the rubber part that covers thw parts fell off the yellow light will charge then turn red and no charge on button for it tore offwhat can i do to fix it

I bought these not too long ago and they were amazing. True to their description. I wore them hiking and on two airplane trips. However, now I can’t listen to a song for longer than 10 seconds without the headset completely shutting off. It doesn’t end there. It won’t let me turn it back on until at least 5 minutes have passed. It’s the most infuriating thing.

I bought two sets of these for my 87-year-old mother who is very hard of hearing. They work for her because she doesn't lose them like typical hearing aids. I've had to return one set already because the recharge port gets jammed with rubber from the surrounding area and it shorts out the set. For an item designed primarily for older people, there could not possibly be a dumber design for recharging. It is small, it is EXTREMELY difficult to plug in, and it shorts out regularly. With the one pair she has left, I had to plug in a short recharge cable, duct tape it to the headset so she can't remove it, and now she plugs in the larger USB end to the charger. It works, but she feels silly walking around with a cord hanging off her headset. Still, it's better than not hearing at all. You just shouldn't have to jury rig a Bose product to get it to work. These are less expensive than hearing aids, but not when you need to buy two or three a year just to have one that works. Great concept, but designed by someone with no empathy for how older people can see and hear.

I bought these about 3 months ago thinking they would be great as I work in construction, I can listen to music and still hear everything going on around me for safety reasons. HOLY COW can you hear everything! The fan in my equipment sounds like a black hawk flying beside me and the back up alarm sounds like a loader is on top of me. I was impressed with that part and the music is really clear. The down side is that when ever I am talking to my wife on the phone, they will randomly shut off and I miss half of what she says which makes her really mad making her think I ain’t paying attention. All in all, they are good headphones for listening to music but they are not worth the money. I wish I would have just got the wireless ones for $130. They are just as good on sound and battery lasts longer.

The Bose Hearphones deliver improved hearing. They are not made for all day use but rather for situations where your hearing is compromised. For someone with mild to moderate hearing loss they provide a good option and a reasonable price compared to hearing aids that generally costs thousands of dollars.

I really appreciate it's clarity of speech and amplification particularly it gives freedom to the user to modify their own comfortable settings. Perfect solution for mile and moderate hearing loss. I simply say worth for the money... Waiting for Bose Hearing aid too...

The initial motivation to order the Hearphones was the advantage that they are rechargeable. Having low vision causes an issue with changing the tiny batteries and this seemed like the best solution. The Hearphones work as promised and offer lots of adjustments to tailor them to my personal preferences. The adjustments can be made on the app on my iPad. They are comfortable to wear, but I am still tweaking how to use the earbuds to keep them in my ears. The only downside for me is that the challenge of being low vision still comes into play. The charging cable is difficult to connect. I was glad to find the feature that the Hearphones will turn itself off when the earbuds are removed. Overall, it is a wonderful product.

I bought this to help with hearing loss due to blocked ears. Works well. Also helps me hear and understand TV without having it too loud for my wife. My ears have cleared up but I will continue to use sometimes for the TV. The only negative is having to adjust the settings for different TV programs. I just keep the phone app open by my side and move the sliders as the sounds change. The music option has the same great Bose quality that my QC35 has but also lets me hear the sound around me while listening to the music. Or I can just mute the mics and listen in quite noise cancelling mode. I also wish Bose made the same sort of hearing assist device without the horse collar, just ear buds.

I love these headphones for everyday use. They enhance the sound around you and you can also block it out. Works great with the app and the option to save your own personal settings is awesome.

Great Phones, had them for two years, they really make my work easier on construction sites, make linking to multiple devices easy, and most important of all they sound great while not destroying my ear canals. I've experienced a battery issue, and my phones were replaced immediately. Big shout out to the support team for coming through with such a level of professionalism. Most comfortable and usable in-ear monitor system. I love them.

Bought these 2 years ago and as long as you play with the settings until you find what suits you, they will serve you well. Also, if I am in the mood to listen to music, I simply turn all the app settings to zero for world noise and adjust the treble, and I get incredible stereo sound. I just wish wires were easier to hide. People always ask what I am listening to, and I have to explain “I’m listening to you.”

I bought a set of Bose Hear Phones a few days ago, updated the firmware, downloaded the app & connected them to a Samsung Note 8 running Android 8. So far I LOVE them! People say the sound during phone calls is VERY good (after I turned down the real world amplification in a noisy environment). The Bose Hear Phones noise cancellation with directional microphones allows me to understand speech & enjoy the sounds I want to hear while eliminating those I don't! Overall, they work & sound great for conversations, phone calls, with reliable Bluetooth streaming of music & videos from my phone & laptop. My complaints are the appearance of the device plus the battery life is limited to a little over 8 hours with a 2-hour charge time. I've tried a few over-the-counter & prescription hearing aids and found they all amplified too much background noise with speech making them annoying and not very helpful.

I bought mine a couple of years ago. They worked so good I used them daily and used my hearing aids as backups when battery needed a recharge. Then the on-off button failed and Bose sent a new one under warranty (Thank you). Now this new one has the same problem and I'm looking at alternative aids. I wish Bose would come out with actual hearing aids now that the Rules allow them.

Trying Hearphones for the first time was like a miracle. I am almost totally deaf and was having terrible trouble with my family doctor who insisted I had to be able to hear to renew my driver's licence at age 82. Trouble was, I'd already had two set of conventional hearing aids and, for me, they just didn't work. I found about Hearphones and ordered a set from the US because they are not sold in my country. They are simply wonderful. I can even hear the birds singing. How I wish I'd found them earlier.

I lost much of my hearing when I was a child. Having tendinitis and chemotherapy which made it worst, this headset will completely change your quality of life. I had trouble hearing people who were standing in front if me. Now I can hear them in another room. The unlimited ways these can be adjusted gives the user the ability to set them so they can hear perfectly no matter where they are. My quality of life increased by 10X after having purchased them. I do not go anywhere without them and a single charge lasts all day. They also charge very fast. I 100% recommend these to anyone with hearing loss. Thank you Bose!!!

Unfortunately the sound quality that the other person on the call gets is not good. If There was a way to improve the call quality for the calls I get and make, I would give this product 5 stars.

I originally heard about these on Sunday Morning, the sunday morning program on CBS as an alternative to hearing aids. My hearing alds had just gone out after about 2-3 years of purchasing them. Like many others I had paid 4k plus for both ears. I've worn hearing aids my whole life and really had enough of always having a hearing aid bill to pay every month for as long as I can remember. I tried the Bose Hesrphones and was amazed at the sound quality and the fact that I could adjust them through the app on my phone. I was able to get the sound and volume that was right for me with multiple modes as well. The sound quality is the best I have ever experienced. My friends and family could tell that I could hear better than ever before. I could listen to music and operate my phone with them as well. The one and only draw back that I ran in to was the band that goes around the neck. While it is comfortable it does tend to move and become a bit of a problem if you are an active person. I would love to see Bose figure out how to make these with the same quality of sound and control in an in ear only product but pound for pound, dollar for dollar the sound quality and control features are hands down the best I've ever experienced. I Would recommend them and have recommended them to anyone with hearing problems who is in the market for an affordable quality hearing device.

I purchased my hearphones in November 2018. After 17 months of heavy use, it appears the batteries have failed. When I connect the charging cable, no lights appear nor does the hearphones do not come on. Since I can not live with the Bose Hearphone, I have ordered a second unit from Amazon.

These are working as anticipated, with unnecessary, correctable frustrations. I need them and my 88 year old dad needs them. I DO NOT like the controls on the right ear wire. There are two sets at 90 angle to each other and I have to fiddle every time to determine which setting button (tiny) set I am feeling. They should be on the neck band facing upward toward the ear so you can just reach up and your fingers would be oriented correctly immediately. Also, it would eliminate the extra weight of the plastic button holder swinging around on your right ear. Need a dedicated button to switch microphone directionality instead of pushing two tiny buttons at the same time. The tone for mic direction should be 1-3 loud, mid-frequency beeps, not single variable pitch beeps. We are already deaf and can't tell them apart at times. I like these headphones, but they are not there yet for usability, especially for an old person. These are simple to correct complaints over Bose failing to properly test this on older people with clumsy fingers. The app needs work too, which could be a cinch to correct with one update if you listen to an older person and loose the pajama boy coding it. I reviewed that on the Play store.

I can hear my sister, family, boss almost as thay really sound!!! not in a can or tunnel! Well done bose!!! Hearing aids, i had to go to adioalagist to have ajusted. no matter what conditions im trying to hear in, i can make the ajustments myself to hear what i want. (i.e. bose app on my android phone. App works great.) Now i know most people want to hide hearing aids to look great, that not me. My hearing is more important to me than looking hansome.lol With all that said, i will never be buying hearing aids again. I love my hearphones bose and look forward to any upgrades made to make them better! As for music on my phone, my hearphones sound every bit as good as my big hi-fi system in my home! Bose never dissapionts when it come to music!!! Now thay don't with hearing!!! Thanxs bose for restoring my natural hearing and giving me great sounding music too boot! You folks rock!!!!

I loved Bose products back in the day - they were reliable, well built and well designed. Not anymore. My wife complains I listen to the TV too loud so I figure this product would be a great solution. It is not. I have tinkered with all the settings and all the modes and it does the exact opposite of what it claims to do - it enhances ALL of the distractions and makes what you want to hear unintelligible even on narrow focus. I can't hear my TV but I can hear my ceiling fan like a chopper, my AC unit, dogs barking outside and sometimes even my own breathing (not to mention the horrid random high pitched squeaks it makes from time to time) but the TV sounds like I have ear muffs on no matter what volume level or mode the Hearphones are set to. Well hey, maybe at least I can connect to my super expensive Bose SoundTouch 300 sound bar by bluetooth. Right? Nope. That almost equally worthless Bose product only receives and does not transmit. So for me this product is completely useless. Hate to say it but Bose has lost a customer - I think it will be a long, long time before I ever consider wasting the hundreds and thousands of dollars on a Bose product - if ever.
