I've had this for a little over a year now and I'm so happy that I took the plunge and bought it! I tour around to local bars and restaurants and either play solo or with one other person and it has been a game changer! The sound is so crisp and clear and the compact set up has cut down my set up time and takes up much less space! I love love LOVE my Bose. Would recommend to anybody and everybody!

I have used this system for over 10 years. I am m a solo performer playing a variety of gigs throughout Texas and the southwest. This system delivers hard volume (500 people +) and quality sound.

I bought this a week ago and love it. Sound quality, as with anything Bose is amazing, but the distance the sound travels on my back porch is amazing. It sounds even better the further back you go. I don't understand how this can be, but I'm sure not going to question it!

Our church has been using this the L1 for over a year. Fills the room that seats 200. Easy to transport, quick to set-up and tear down. Amazing product!

I perform with a 7 piece acoustic / Bluegrass band, with 4 vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Dobro, Upright Bass, Pedal Steel and Piano. All acoustic instruments are mic'd. We currently use two L1 / With B2 Bass modules to the left and right of the stage, and one Bose L1 Compact at the rear of the stage as an added monitor to help the players in the back. This setup is revolutionary in every way. Sound is utterly superb, and despite all the hot condenser mics, there are minimal feedback issues. Our stage mix is identical to the FOH, so there's never any "what did it sound like out front" questions. Comments from the audience usually include "I can hear every instrument like it was right in front of me", This system also replaced a monster system that took up an 8' trailer and took 2 hours to set up and tear down.

I've been using these for my full band (3 vocals, guitar, bass, drums, percussion) for about 3 years now. Two columns upfront and one column at the back. All instruments are electronic including drums & percussion. Works great, especially volume control as we can setup and play for small intimate occasions to large parties

Every time I speak into the mic, it makes me smile. There is a bigness to the sound that L1 systems create that conventional speakers can't reproduce, even above this price point. This is an ideal solution for musicians and DJs. It is a bit much for use at home but if you need your music excessively loud, this one is for you.

Purchased a few months ago and after using for several gigs I must say that it is brilliant. The bass from the B1 is unbelievable, easily equivalent to a 15inch sub, but and this is the thing it goes right down to 32htz, which means no other speaker on the market sounds as good, I normally use two Mackie SRM 450 for my gigs, but after using the Bose system they now sound completely lacking in bass and I thought they where good when I purchased them. The secret to releasing the power in this system is the T1 Tone match mixer, there is a setting for high power music, used in conjunction with the stereo inputs from my DJ mixer, turbo charges the sound! I have never ever had so many compliments on the sound from guests, I also purchased a second B1 for the system and together they rattle everything in the room! So setting up is now a breeze as one speaker covers everything. 6 months on very impressed!

We're a three-piece rock band. Purchased an L1 Model II w/B2 bass to use for acoustic gigs. Ended up buying another to power our electric (rock) shows. We daisy chain the two systems and run vox/drum mics thru a mixer to the Tone Match and guitar-bass run direct to the TM. Only outboard gear is the guitarist's modeling amp head. The sound is amazing and it replaced the complete powered PA we'd been using. I'm going to buy two more B2's for max bass thump. Club owners like the great tone at lower volume levels.

I am using 2 L1 model 1s with 2 B2 basses and 1 Tonematch. I have used this setup for gigs the last couple of years with audience size from 25-280 people. I must say that I am very happy with the sound in both the high and low areas, it separates the sound beautifully and spreads the sound great in the room. I have though the time received a lot of positive feedback from audience. So all in all a top product that delivers!!

First of all I never write reviews but felt compelled to share my new enthusiasm for this product. The singer in my band invested in two of these and we brought them to an outdoor wedding gig. There was a small stage and not much room on the dance floor for our lights or PA. Consequently, we positioned the L1/B2's behind the band as is the advertised setup and appropriate use of this PA. It took less than ten minutes to stage and plug-in. I thought L1/B2's were for acoustic guitar players or speaking engagements, not rock / dance bands like ours. I was dead wrong. Zero issues with feedback, clean full range sound, no floor monitors required. We performed better because we could all hear each other perfectly. We used about half of the available headroom with guitar, bass, drums, vocals x 3 and could have been ridiculously loud had it been required. WOW, I've been playing live for 30 years and used a lot of PA's, this is just too good to be true. The coolest part is our singer drove his sedan and threw the entire PA in the trunk after the gig.

I dj for bars and wedding receptions. Hands down these speakers are the best in my opinion. I've gotten alot of comments on the sound quality. People find it hard to believe that it's coming from these speakers. Then I point to the name.

I have run a dual version of this setup with my string quartet along with 5 vox, and one hardline mic with a vocal processor and run backtracks through it for over a year now.. Out doors, indoors, midsize venues and the like-- with a proper mix board and engineer.. This setup is unbeatable for the price range...

I was already familiar with this system (and other Bose systems) because a fellow musician whom I play with has one. After hearing how nice his system sounded I had to purchase one for myself. I'm happy I did and I enjoy the heck out of my L1 Model II w/B2 PA system!

The L1 Model II is the most articulate sounding sound system I've invested in. The bass is very clean and not boomy. The mids and highs is unmatched in sound reproduction. Excellent product with superior sound and I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

We are a 4 person acoustic Bluegrass/blues/roots/originals band with vocals, some mic'd instruments and some DI input instruments. After fighting with big nasty directional speakers/monitors/stands for years. I finally grit my teeth and bought a Bose L1 1S with B2 bass module. We run into the Bose through a Mackie 16 channel mixer using 7-10 channels, and use the single tower and B2 as all our sound and monitor. AWESOME sound quality and clarity from small coffeehouses to large outdoor beer gardens ( 3-400 person areas ). ZERO feedback issues even running it very loud set behind us. AMPLE BASS even in big open areas. I use it as a PA for other more "electric" groups in the same settings and it performs flawlessly for all types of groups. One thing for new users to note is - even though the Bose L1 is very feedback resistant, use as your monitor requires ample distance either behind you or diagonally from you so it is not too loud for your players. Protect your hearing! We're learning to consider ourselves the "closest audience member" in terms of setting the overall volume, and try to get the tower at least 8 - 10 feet behind us or better still to the side slightly back of us. The linear speaker tower spreads an even 180 degrees of sound and the drop-off is minimal using my db meter even 30-40 feet away, and fades slowly so you need not "crank" it too loud at the source in our experience. The retail price was bracing, but as I added up the cost of decent powered speakers, stands, a couple good floor monitors and all the cabling monkey business for that stuff, the Bose L series became pretty reasonable, and is WAY easier to set up fast and transport. A perfect solution for acoustic groups playing in a lot of different venues.

I gig professionally and picked this up to scale down my show when playing with smaller configurations. For single's - trio's it can't be touched from anything I've seen or heard like this. I've even ran a full band with 4 vox, and 3 instruments through it in an outdoor environment and it ran perfectly but less is more with these rigs. I can definitely here a compression kick in and things get a little squishy when you put a lot of different signals through but that's not what it was designed for. For smaller show's and groups it's unbeatable.
