Bought this to replace my water damaged LifeStyle 520 but its far worst to what am expecting. Front speakers are small and don't deliver the kind of output I expect. Kept on repeating the tuning process to get a better output specially for playing "music" but just ends up the same. Its overpriced and probably inferior than system from Yamaha or Denon at half-the price

I bought Lifestyle 600 couple of days back, it's sound quality is amazing. I already having Bose Cinemate 520 in another room. Before buying I had 3 options evaluated - Opt-1: Bose Acoustimass 10 with Marantz SR5014 which will help expanding to ATMOS later, Opt-2: Bose Soundbar 700 complete set and Opt-3: Bose Lifestyle 600. Since I needed multiple connectivity requirement like TV, FireStick, PS4 etc. - Bose Soundbar 700 gone out of my view, I hate depending on TV for the rest of the connectivity. Between the Opt-1 and Opt-3, I found the Lifestyle 600 wireless & has option to expand to my other SoundTouch compatible Cinemate 520, SoundTouch 10. It's a stretch budget for me compared to other 2 option, but absolutely I'm not concerned now !! I feel I made the right choice, again music is subjective to each one of us.

This is the best home theatre system i have owned. The sound is so clear and crisp. Bass module adds up to the system with its thundering effect that makes you love the performance of this system. Watching movies with this system has made me addicted to it. My room is now my theatre and i just love it.

What happened to Bose quality? I was told the remote would operate my Samsung 4K smart TV and not a chance! After a year the only speaker producing sound is the center channel and the sub is putting out just a little that you only hear when you are within a foot of it. I waited a long time before I could afford Bose and what a waste of money. It looks like I will be going back to a cheaper brand to get better quality.

This long review comes almost 2 years later but I figured that if I am going to review a high end BOSE home entertainment system, let's give it a good chance to prove itself. Worth the read in my opinion especially if you are going to drop this kind of coin on a home theatre system. I am a very old school person where it's all about big, heavy high-quality amps to drive big speakers using nothing but the best cabling available and "running in" new speakers similar to what you would do with a new car. That being said, I've always had a soft spot for BOSE products. We built our new home in 2017 so I figured "let's give BOSE a good crack!". Was it a smart move? Yes. What was the first thing that impressed you? The build quality, thought and innovation. What did you think of the sound straight out of the box? My honest answer - bass lacked a tiny bit initially BUT it was still good and like any speaker, I knew that it would sound eleventy billion times better when you use them for a period of time. I also put the lack of bass due to the initial placement of the Acoustimass module not being right in the corner. 14 months later - my thoughts? Mate... this system is epic. Forget everything you thought you knew about decent sound (i.e. setting stereo for music, normal TV, 5 channel mode for movies and so on, equalizers, etc.). This thing has the smarts to set the audio output mode as needed depending on the source and does a cracker of a job blending channels to make it seem like one massive source of sound. I also discovered "Direct" audio mode and found the sweet spot with the tone & level settings volumes and everything just sounds awesome. It sounds THAT good that you can really tell when something has been produced poorly. The best part? I still have not run the ADAPTiQ audio tuning that comes with it. I literally have bass and treble set to 0 (flat) and audio mode in Direct for all sources - perfection. Bass is deep as it should be, mids are nice without being overpowering and the treble is crisp without pearcing your ear drums. I still remember the BOSE sales rep's face when I told him that I have not run it yet. He was shocked but I convinced him that it does not need it! Give the speakers a chance to run in and you will hear it! The UNIFY tech works flawlessly with my Sony X85E Android TV, Sony PlayStation 4. I only have 2 remotes floating around and that is the BOSE and Foxtel to control everything. System OFF means System OFF. Full smart TV control using the UNIFY remote. The best party trick is SoundTouch - I recently purchased a SoundTouch 20 Series III and SoundTouch Wireless Link Adapter for my trusty old Sound Dock Portable speaker. We recently had a Christmas Party with mates and I had Spotify cranking all night using SoundTouch throughout the entire house. The ability to control each system (referred to as a "speaker") individually and play either 3 different sources or switch on PLAY ALL mode - the party was on! Would give you 10 out of 5 stars if I could. It works perfectly and ticks all the boxes for us.

It has been 1.6 years since I purchased this and I donot regret this even one bit, as it is the best thing I have bought with a 4k Sony Bravia 55 inch. This is going to last me probably for 20 years plus, provided it is kept neat and nice, with no major issues. That being said, I have always fancied Bose the time I heard it play in the demo room they have in the showroom (UK, Dubai, US, Canada). Although its all the same company in different continents, I throughouly enjoyed saving every penny and cents for this unit. I wanted to go for Lifestyle 650, but with a thousand dollars more, I decided to stick with the basic unit of the best. The crisp sound quality, the bass, the surround are some of the best things in this beautiful beast. I got it for a catchy offer, 2500 dollars less of the market price, which made it the best of the deals so far. Having plugged this into a Sony 4k TV unit, it is exactly as I used to see it in the showroom, except no glass cubicle (just 4 walls). Lifestyle 650 has its differences in audio to ears who are keen or tuned to fine hearing, but I do not consider the differences to be major. The centerpeice system is the major difference I noticed in both the systems, (soundbar in lifestyle 650). I consider to uprgade to a standalone soundbar, maybe after 6- 8 years. When I bought this unit, it was not integrated to Amazon Alexa, I had to manually reboot the whole system, and afterwhich it worked well with Alexa. To be honest, this is the best decision with home theater system.

Just got my lifestyle 600 in white today. Also purchased tables stands and rear stands. Sure setup took a little while but it was not difficult to setup. Just follow the prompts and steps and you will have no issues! Sound quality is excellent and the white is breathtaking to see. can’t wait to purchase a second subwoofer as well. Highly recommend this purchase if you can’t quite pay for the 650 system!

This is quite simply the best sound system I have ever purchased. Simple and easy to setup, so easy to use and the sound quality once setup correctly in your room is simply incredible to say the least. If you really appreciate the quality of sound and when you get this quality of sound, the price doesn't matter.

I bought this product a few days ago. It has already left me frustrated. The system keeps on turning on and off on its own. I spoke to customer care, they just have no solution. Because of this I am not able to set up the system. It's difficult to digest that for such a huge money they are selling bogus products. I just want a refund and does not want any bose product anymore.

Though I bought this as I believed it’ll be an Upgrade over my BOSE SOUND TOUCH 520, I am very disappointed as it is nothing much of an Upgrade except for the Price that I had to shell out -basically a Zero.

We bought the 600 lifestyle and we are astounded. We have a 65" curved smart tv and the deliveries of all are streaming apps is tenfold to the original system we had. Touchsound is awesome for music. All our components synced seamlessly with the system making one remote control for everything. The surround sound is so precise and in point in fact our dog runs to the other room behind the rear speakers to see whom is talking back there. Again we are amazed and LOVE this product. It was worth ever penny. Bluetooth and WiFi makes it a breeze to install. Our home is the most popular house on pizza & a movie nights. Thank you Bose for you research and development.

First off let me state I don't write on-line reviews but felt I should in this case so buyers understand what they are getting into. Let me also state that I was upgrading a Lifestyle V25 because it could't pass 4k. The other thing to state before getting into the negatives is the look, fit and finish is fantastic, typical Bose. Sound is equally as good especially the 360 degrees jewel speakers. The other thing to understand is I am a Bose fan, my house is full of their products. Now the things I don't like and it has mostly to do with software. The user interface is absolutely garbage. My V25 is technology from 5 years ago and it is far superior to the 650. I feel like I went from the latest version of Windows back to DOS, I'm not kidding it's that bad. The V25 had a good colorfull user interface that would allow you to manipulate most parameters, the 650 is a white screen with very few options and a lot of things you can't do. One of the frustrating issues was setting up the remote for my cable box, the 650 would't recognize the model so I searched the internet for similar models to enter as they usually use the same codes. On the V25 you could go into an input and change the remote settings, on the 650 you need to completely remove the input and re-install it to try a different remote. As you type the model number you would think they would bring up suggestions, no just keep typing press enter and pray. During set-up you are required to wear the ADAPTIQ headphones as per the instructions, problem is this isn't stated in either the quick set-up or manual, I'm still not sure if there's a left and right to the headphones (not indicated on them) and therefore don't know if my system is calibrated properly. Headphones, the 650 has bluetooth you would think I could use my QC35's with it. Not so, it only receives bluetooth it can't send. When I mentioned this to the sales person he asked what kind of TV I had, Samsung top of the line I replied. He smiled and stated my Samsung can send the audio to my QC35's. To this I replied, you mean my Samsung TV works with my Bose QC35's but my flagship Bose 650 doesn't work with my Bose QC35's. Yes he said with a smile, I think he missed the point, oh well. Zoning. This one a killer for me. I have 4 zones on my V25, I can send audio throughout the house and from different inputs. I was told I could still do this with some SoundTouch speakers. Not so, yes you can send the same source from your tablet or phone to multiple SoundTouch devices including the 650 but you cannot send a audio signal from the 650 to a SoundTouch. What this means is I cannot send my cable box audio to a Soundtouch on my deck to listen to sports while I watch TV, something I used to enjoy doing. Set-up was not bad, took three times to recognize the sub, don't know why. My remote has stopped working twice, yes it has new batteries. I remove them, re-install and it starts to work. Sometimes I turn the system on and have no audio, I switch sources and come back to the original source and it works, again who knows why. Overall Impressions. What a beautiful system with clear crisp sound however I feel some Production VP pushed it to market to book revenues against development costs and the system was not mature enough. In short I feel like I'm the guinea pig who spent $5k plus taxes to fund their software development. In today's day and age, the user feel and interaction is paramount to the experience and is to be expected on a system like this however it falls flat on its face. Too bad, I expected more Bose and I expect you will push software updates soon and make this the system it should be at the price it commands.

A few months ago, I was looking to purchase a Soundtouch 520 to replace my ageing TV/ Cinema surround, it was the only unit that handled 4K TV and I also wanted to move my Wave Soundtouch to another room but was told to wait because Bose had something in the pipeline.....I'm glad I did! I saw and heard the Lifestyle 650 in a Bose shop and was blown away by the size of the 'Omni-Jewel' speakers and looks of the system, for me, the quality of sound goes without saying for a Bose product. The young lad in the shop told me this was the best system that Bose have ever produced with the most technically updated features to date. We went through the options for mounting the speakers and I settled for the Omni-Jewel floor stands. If my room was set-up exactly like the 'perfect front room' with TV in the middle at one end and seating in the middle, I would have plumped for the ceiling mounts. The system arrived in a very well packaged box with easy to follow instructions and within 30 minutes, I was ready to rock and roll. The Unify software makes the initial system set up procedure very easy and I commend Bose on this piece of software. The initial setup and addition of hardware went smoothly, although, I did have problems that I will brush over. The Lifestyle remote looked to be easily set up using the Unify software but after testing and utilising my whole system, I immediately noticed a few 'bugs'/ 'anomalies' that I hope future firmware updates will iron out. The HDMI CEC and ARC gave me the most trouble, and after changing settings, connecting an optical cable and eventually hard resetting all the systems and going through the Unify set up again, this worked fine with just HDMI cables (more than likely, it was my meddling!). The minor bugs do make using a smart TV slightly more complicated, I will give my feedback to Bose, after all, its a new system and little bugs/ anomalies do occur, not every single TV system can be catered for 100%. I ran the calibration software and I was ready to go! The system looks good and sounds even better. All my external devices are plugged in and working apart from a few functions on the Lifestyle remote and the previous little bugs, which does mean you can't put all those remotes away just yet! Overall though, I am very pleased with the Lifestyle 650 and its performance, I also have great peace of mind that if I do have any problems, the excellent Bose customer service will help sort it for me, as they always do. I thoroughly reccomend the Lifestyle 650 even after only owning it a few days :-) I have rated a few 4 starts but thats because of the few problems I had setting it up and anomalies.

I purchased the Lifestlye 650 a couple of weeks ago and am very pleased with the overall performance. I've been looking for a modern design that blends well with the room and Bose sure delivered on this product. The wireless surround speakers were a major selling point as my wife was not crazy with the idea of speaker wires running anywhere. Our home is an older home that doesn't present in-wall wiring options for the rears in the theater room. The new OmniJewel satellite speakers are well d...

Perfection means everything. So Bose compromised on nothing.
Beauty's in the eye and ear of the beholder. So Bose designed the Lifestyle home entertainment system to be beautiful in every way. Acoustics. Aesthetics. Craftsmanship. Simplicity. Bring your entertainment to life with a powerful, wireless bass module, four compact satellite speakers including rear wireless surrounds a wider center channel speaker and a premium, glass-top control console. Love music? Then you'll love SoundTouch built in for Internet radio, music services like Spotify and Amazon Music, and your stored music collection. See and hear for yourself why this is the most uncompromising 5-speaker home theater system Bose has ever made.
Thunderous bass. Wireless connectivity.
Of course you want that resounding bass performance for movies and music. But you don't want a monstrous piece of equipment to enable it. With its premium glass-top finish, the wireless Acoustimass module delivers on sound and style. A powerful driver and QuietPort technology combine for best-in-class performance for its size.
Statements in elegance, continued...
The polished glass curvature of the console has a singular style you can't ignore. But it's more than just good looks. The console houses all of your technological needs: Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity for wireless music streaming, 4K video compatibility, 6 HDMI inputs and more. And it's all controlled with a universal remote.
Less effort, more music
With the Lifestyle home entertainment system, Bose put a lot of thought into taking the thinking out. Sure, there's the premium home theater performance that you'll love for movies, TV and sports. But when it comes to enjoying your music, you can listen whichever way you want, without worrying about which technology is best. This system lets you play music directly from a phone or tablet using Bluetooth, or connect the system to your Wi-Fi network for instant in-home listening, without the need for your phone.
SoundTouch app
SoudTouch, a key benefit to this Lifestyle system, is made to grow with you. Once you have one SoundTouch system, you can add more at anytime. They all work together. So as you go room to room, your music goes along with you. The free SoundTouch app gives you greater control of your Lifestyle system - any SoundTouch product, actually - from a smartphone or tablet. Use it to browse music, and control that music throughout your home. Start streaming instantly, or use the app to personalize the presets to your favorite music and stations. You can also use the universal remote's SoundTouch LED to see what songs you're listening to, a nice feature when you switch directly from a movie to some music.
Engineered to keep it simple
Unify technology walks you through system setup with guided onscreen messages for foolproof connectivity to your sources. Worried how it will all sound in your room? Don't be. ADAPTiQ audio calibration fine-tunes the sound specifically to your room and the things in it. So when you hear it, you hear it at its absolute best. The rear speakers and bass module even connect wirelessly for easier placement.
