Good head, bad remote

Great pan/tilt head so far. Operation is smooth and quiet. The remote is junk and I dont believe it will hold up long. Im using a RC remote with mine. If you plan on using the remote alot. You might wanna consider another option for controlling it.. Arduino... etc

We use these Bescor MP-1E's for places that we do not want to necessarily have the disruption of a live cameraman in the view-path of the audience. We just finished a week-long 8-camera live-to-network shoot that encompassed a total of 57 75-minute plus shoots. These are great little units for the lower weight cameras. Performs as advertized

my only suggestion ... I wish along with 0, 45, 90 and 345 degree panning sweeps settings, it would also have a 180 degree setting. But it is as advertised, and performs very well.
