Although mine are 2 years old, I have only used them about 40 hours. They now turn on by themselves especially when charging. The button is off but they stay on. This appears to be a very common fault. It seems Bose know this but do nothing for you. I am livid that I spent £300 on these but they are now useless. You have been warned. Terrible experience and would never buy a Bose product again. They should hold their hands up and look after customers. Instead, you are ignored.

Loved these headphones ever since I purchased them a year and a half ago, however, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Just recently began to experience an issue where they would turn on for no reason, without actually turning them on myself. This would result in them connecting to my phone or other device and dying by the time I needed to use them. After a quick google search, I realized many others were having this issue. After contacting Bose, I was offered a small discount on a new set of headphones. I don't feel anyone should have to buy a new set of headphones for an issue that many others are having but is a "rare issue" according to bose.

Great sound. You can easily fall asleep with these on. Perfect for long trips. However the USB connection can be touchy. My previous model’s connection became unstable until it went out. Bose did an excellent job replacing and honoring the warranty.

The cushioning is falling apart after 2 years, but first signs of problems with the leather surface appeared already 1 year in... very dissapointing

Have a pair of QC 2 headphones. They still work great but the black dandruff that comes off the ear cushions and head band are ridiculous. They have stained two pair of my shorts as the black tar-like specs go everywhere. I know you can replace the cups but replacing the headband is a little tricky. I hope the new models have corrected this bogus design flaw.

It's just over 3 months since purchasing these headphones. I did baulk a few times at the price but am glad that in the end I took the leap and bought them. The sound quality is first rate, they are comfortable and look very good. Nothing much else to say is there?

I have had my QC35 for a few years now and absolutely love the wireless and noise cancelling technology. I did not give this a 5 star for the fact that the mic is not the best as I have had mixed reviews by people who I have spoken to on the phone in somewhat noisy background areas but also because the carrying case is garbage. The zipper has already broken off and now I have to spend another good penny on a replacement. Bose should provide a replacement or some form of discount for customers to get a replacement.

I love the sound and the noise cancelling but the overall build quality was shakey. I recently bought a brand new pair of ear cups for the headphones to find that not even a month later the ear cups were beginning to shred again. The hardplastic holds up okay but chips cracks and fades quickly over time.

I bought these QC35s to be able to listen to my music during chemo treatments and while traveling. It wasn’t until flying that I realized the noise canceling isn’t even remotely close to what my QC25’s were. I wear them to help me sleep at night and can still hear almost everything going on in my room from my wife snoring to my dog flipping over to get more comfortable. Again, never had a problem with my QC25’s. Disappointing to purchase something for so much (back when they were full price) and have them not live up to the cheaper, older pair. When all is quiet, they sound phenomenal.

Always a fan of Bose products. This is no exception. I have multiple headphones from JBL, Vmoda, apple and Sony but this is my favorite one. After a long analysis for active noise canceling headphones I chose this one over all and believe me you won’t regret ??

Bought at Apple store. Most of my music comes through my classic iPod. The plug-in cord failed from the beginning, cutting in and out, so I returned them after the first trial. Very disappointed after all the hype. Plus the app through which they are controlled is simplistic and therefore unhelpful. These should be advertised for streaming only.

Superb sound and noise cancelling ability. I like the case and airline audio jack adapter. Good battery life, simple to use.

Easy to connect with iOS devices and android devices, but impossible to connect to a Samsung Smart TV QLED Q7F Series. Something happens between Samsung and Bose, they have always compatibility issues. Other than that, quality is good and sound really well.

Have had these for just over a year now and they are off warranty. These have started powering themselves on when the switch is off. Reading the Bose community this seems to be a rather common problem, generally showing up about after one year. This is not a mechanical problem (loose switch). Have powered off devices they are attached to and so the problem is on the headphones. Support page on Bose does not include this as a technical issue they have a fix for. I have the latest software update installed.

Absolutely love these headphones coming from a qc3. I'll never get on a plane without them. Bluetooth makes it even more desirable. I can link to my tv at night allowing my family to sleep while I watch tv.

I? am really disappointing in these headphone! I? replace my original Bose wireless headphones with these. ( they where amazing! Just old and battery was no good) The Bluetooth range is horrible! I? have to hold my phone the whole time or the audio drops. I? am highly disappointed! My teenage has beats that are half the price and have 3 x the range!

I had a cheaper brand of noise canceling headphones before. I wouldn't have bought the bose, but I found myself in an airport without my normal ones facing 20 hours of round trip solo travel, and I splurged. Wow are these awesome. Far and away better than the audio technica I had for years. Best features: -Really, really good noise cancellation -The bluetooth is intuitive and easy to sync -Fits with plenty of room, even on my enormous head (helmets XXXL, etc.) -It charges incredibly fast and battery lasts incredibly long Worst problems: -The background noise cancellation is inferior to the iphone alone, so when I take work calls from noisy places like airports it's really not a viable solution...I end up holding the phone to my ear -the aux cable, which you really only need on airplanes, has a funny size wire 1.5mm to 3.5mm I believe... so when my first one broke because I knocked into it when I was sitting back down in a middle seat it took me a while to figure out a credible replacement. But several aftermarket cords are available on Prime, so problem solved after a bit of research. -This is a nit, but it's a little annoying to wear them when laying in bed because when you rub the pillow with them you get a record scratching noise

the difference between a refurbished and the new one is just 20$ in that case why would you go for a refurbished piecejavascript:void(0) which comes with less warranty and a refurbished one just for that small difference. i'll never pay that price for a refurbished one instead i'll pay that 20 and buy a new one. Bose should look at the competitors as well for the price patterns. They can say i don't want to discuss about the competitors but there is no exception for any business consumer is the god at this point of time and has many choices to decide. just my thought. :-)

I bought the headphones a week ago since there was sale on them. Since I couldn’t find any notable differences between this model and the model 2, I decided to buy the cheaper one to save some money. The sound quality and the noise canceling works perfectly. The headphones are really comfy and ergonomic. Since I’ve bought this a week ago, I have not noticed any issues with it. I would recommend this to everyone...

I bought this unit yesterday and tested it right away. From 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM (10 hours) of use for 50% initial battery life was very good. I have used that long without any earache issue because it fitted comfortably on my ears. The sound was clear especially the bass that I truly felt when watching movies and listening music. The noise cancellation was also great that I could barely hear the noise of the surroundings like knocking on the door of my roommate, noise of our old fridge and air conditioner unit in the room, howling of suction truck and other constructions outside the room. I just felt the quietness of the room when I put on and paused playing. I did used the enclosed jack cable as alternative wired option and off the Bluetooth to disable this noise cancellation feature if I don't want sometime. And thus, it is very convenient in case the unit was emptied its battery and the enjoyment must go on. As overall, I just love the way it was designed and created to satisfy my wants.

I acquired these several months ago and I use them daily. They are a part of my EDC gear. I used to use various inexpensive brands of OTE headphones but not anymore. The battery life is phenomenal, I use them at least a couple hours each day, and only charge them every 7-10 days. I love talking on the phone hands free, and rarely hold my phone to my head anymore. Listening to music is so cool, no matter how loud you're listening to it, no one can hear it. They are comfortable to wear. I have fallen asleep in bed with them on, and I also wear them to the gym. Unfortunately I have dropped them a couple of times, and they still work fine. I have owned other Bose products but these are the first headphones. They are pricey but, worth the money.

Bought them last year in December and they sound better than Beats, seriously. I like the app, especially the new update where the noise cancellation can be adjusted and it helps. The sound quality is great and I've bought the Bose QC 25 and decided to upgrade since the QC 35 are wireless and I like the silver color on the headphones.

I use these headphones at least two hours a day. The battery lasts me almost a week and a half which is amazing. I also forget that they are on my head at times too since they are so lightweight. And I have listened to other noise canceling headphones, but none can compare to these beauties.

The QC 35s are one of the most comfortable headphones I have. They are used regularly for flights to work as well as on a train I work on. I prefer a higher quality sound when doing some serious music listening however these are the best sounding wireless noise cancelling headphones I have tried so far. The reason why they lose one star is I find the cups rotate the wrong way when you want to rest them around the neck while transferring to different flights. They are much more comfortable with the open side of the cups facing down on the collar bone than pointing up with the slightly wider part of the cup hitting the bottom of the chin. A minor inconvenience I hope is addressed in future models but far from a deal breaker.

I purchased this about a year ago and absolutely LOVE these headphones. They're great while canceling outside noises in the office, when traveling, and overall great sound. I have never owned a pair of noise canceling headphones, but will never go back to anything but these. I do wish these were compatible with my PC for gaming with a mic, but unfortunately these do not work as a gaming headset. My boyfriend tried these out as well and he LOVES them too, so guess we will be buying another pair for him next. Thanks for keeping a great name going and keeping the quality up. SUPER comfortable for those who wear glasses (I use both glasses and contacts) and having a comfortable set of headphone over the ear are hard to find. Besides that, I ended up purchasing at my local Bose store and everyone was fantastic there as well. very knowledgeable and helpful without the feeling of being pressured and pushed into unwanted or unnecessary products.

I have been a fan of BOSE for several years, but I've never purchased their over-ear headphones since I prefer buds. But since my pair of buds died two weeks ago (after nearly three years of heavy use) I thought I would try these. The noise cancelling is amazing. I use these in my office, and I can't even hear myself type. I tested the music outside and on public transit, and the noise of the traffic and the subway was a mere whisper. The battery lasted 21.5 hours on a single charge between music, Netflix, and phone calls. I love these!!!

Bought it before taking a flight, all functions work only half, the bluetooth disconnects randomly, the jack only transmits music and not voices (?). Worst of all, they don't want to take it back ??!?!

The best from Bose just got wireless
Bose spent 40+ years of research in pursuit of the best noise cancellation in the world. Then they obsessed about making it wireless. The result: QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones. Free yourself from wires and connect easily to your devices with Bluetooth and NFC pairing. Volume-optimized EQ gives you balanced audio at any level, while a noise-rejecting dual-microphone system provides clear calls, even in windy and noisy environments.
These are Bose's best headphones. In making them wireless, they had one goal: Seamlessly merge Bluetooth and Bose's Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology together with no compromise to the technologies or the audio performance they're known for. Try them for yourself then try to live without them.
Music sounds better
You turn them on, and noise instantly fades away. Your favorite songs soar to new heights, sounding so rich and clear you might feel like you're hearing them for the very first time. It's magical to the ear but it's not magic. It's the precise arrangement of microphones inside and outside the earcups. It's proprietary electronics that continuously measure, compare and react to outside noises. And it's the electronics sending an equal and opposite signal to the earcups' speakers to cancel those noises. All so you can enjoy the music you love or the silence you need.
Exceptionally strong battery life
It's thought that battery life suffers with wireless headphones. Bose changed that way of thinking. How? By customizing the size and shape of their lithium ion battery to optimize the space available in the earcup all without compromising fit or comfort. You now enjoy up to 20 hours while using the headphones wirelessly, a significant duration for wireless headphones. You also get up to 40 hours for wired use.
Quiet sounds quieter
The electronic noise floor is another obsession for Bose. A headphones' noise floor is that soft hiss you might hear when listening in quiet environments. Because that noise is measurable, they continuously tweaked the electronics in QC35 headphones until that soft hiss became virtually undetectable.
Premium materials for all-day comfort
Materials matter. That's why the QC35 headband isn't just soft, it's luxurious. Wrapped in Alcantara, the soft covering material used by prestigious international companies in various applications like yachts and high-end automobiles, it provides a welcome comfort designed for all-day listening. The ear cushions are manufactured from a synthetic protein leather and contain a silicone bead for passive noise reduction.
Lightweight and durable? How?
The perception is lightweight headphones are made of plastic and easily broken. So Bose doesn't use plastic. They use glass filled nylon that provides for a lightweight feel but a high level of durability. These headphones also have strong finishing touches. Stainless steel is used for the headband spring and pivots to ensure the headphones are durable enough for everyday use.
Easy control
Connecting to Bluetooth devices and switching between them say, from your iPad to iPhone when a call comes in is now delightfully easy. The free Bose Connect app manages all connections with an intuitive graphic interface. Once paired with multiple devices, the headphones will switch between them automatically whenever you want. The app also provides software updates, product tips and even lets you personalize your settings.
