Bose remote is good quality.
My new Bose RC-PWS III Universal Remote Control works better than the one that came with the Theater Speaker System. I can control the Bose Sound System, tv, and other electronics attached. I recommend Bose. Good quality product.

Buttons go out!
had to buy this item twice cause the power button seems to go out i would guess from to much usage. The recomendation i would make to bose is that they insert a physical on/off button on there products so that you can still use the product without having to go buy a new remote.

Remote does not work, volume does not turn down
This remote is terrible. The volume control stopped working about a week ago. Now, it won’t even turn my speaker on. Extremely disappointed that I spent good money on a “good speaker” and the remote to turn it on doesn’t even work.

Not Bose Universal
I received my unit and started hooking it up to the different units. I hooked it up to my Sony TV and my Xfinity Cable Box with little problem. However, the Bose function for my Bose soundbar did not work. The instructions said only works with Bose sound bars 10 and 20. It did not work with the Solo 5. So much for working with all Bose systems.

Versatile Bose Remote!
Purchased as a replacement, using with Bose Solo 5 sound bar. Arrived with full documentation, batteries. Operation is simple, intuitive -- even when setting up the remote to be paired with other devices. A solid, quality Bose product!

Close to useless
Purchased a Bose 500 soundbar which sounds OK but the Bose remote is only able to turn on the soundbar and adjust volume and bass. It programs to my Vizio 4K tv but can only turn it off or on, no other controls function correctly. It will not link to my Bell Fibe 4K PVR cable box at all.

I just heard the remote only works with bose stuff
I bought a new remote thinking the problem controlling the Samsung TV, DVD, and TiVo was the remote. Nope. The universal remote does not accurately control non-base products. Works some of the time, but no where near all of the time - so says the help desk. I am SO disillusioned with Bose products now that I've half a mind to throw it in the dumpster. I now own 2 remotes that don't work. Lovely. Sorry Bose, this is a really awful product.

Wont work unless pointed directly at speaker. Why wouldnt you make the remote bluetooth. The speaker already uses bluetooth to connect to the speaker.

Incredibly poor design
This remote was designed to replace a tv remote. Unfortunately, Bose forgot that it's primary purpose was to operate the Bose Sound System. In order to adjust the speakers, you have to go through a number of steps to get to the appropriate spot for sound adjustment.

Good fetures be is not consistent
I bought 2 for each Tv ( Sony & Samsung) and they were difficult to get them to work and maintain there codes! It you have any suggestions please share. Because I just using one remote

I got the CineMate digital home theater speaker system and i can't use it because the "universal control" is not as that universal. It works with other brands but it doesn't work with all the bose pruducts? Terrible

my original remote for my bose surround sound system died so i ordered the replacement remote from bose. i just received it and am able to program mt tv and cable box but not my bose console! ive tried resetting and pairing the device to no avail. how is this even possible.

Works like a DREAM for my CineMate GS series II !
This works perfectly- great documentation too- my original remote broke (maybe I dropped it too many times?) that came with my CineMate GS series II speakers- I was thinking the speakers died, but NO, the remote died...LOVE my Bose speakers- I'm so glad I had the option of buying a new remote!
