I bought a new receiver and CD player and these speakers to replace my old Bose Wave which went belly-up. Frankly, I think the sound from the Wave was better.

I bought the Acoustimass 3 Series a year ago and I was amazed at the superb sound that comes from such small speakers. The bass module is deep and not distorted either. The quality of the sound is truly amazing. If anyone is wondering whether to buy these or not, my answer is YES !!! You will not be disappointed I assure you. Best thing I have bought.

Great "true" sound reproduction.. I first listened to them playing an at least 30 year old 33 1/3 vinyl recording of a Chicago Polka Band.. which is my preferred music type.. I was truly "blown away".. trumpets out of the left channel / vocals etc out of the left.. and the wonderful "full" base in the middle.. this sound brought me back to when I listened to this Band.. play live at festivals.. MAGNIFICENT sound reproduction.. I am ecstatic of this purchase

I picked this speaker system up at a Bose outlet in San Francisco in 2000 and attached it to a 200 CD turntable. The sound is incredibly clear, especially with "live" performances...no distortion, no fuzziness.

Bought these along with a SA-5 for our kitchen/dinner. Initially I was doubtful how good these speakers could be for the size, however I shouldn't have worried!! I have had speakers 3 or 4 times the size and they didn't pack half the punch or quality which these speakers do. The recommendation is that for the larger rooms go for the Acoustimass 5, however personally these do the job and we have them in a large space. Recommendation for installation... The cable lengths between the sub and the speakers isn't very long so plan your installation carefully and consider that you may want to invent in additional cable. Another point to note is that the isn't any silly adapter like the is on the Acoustimass 5's so makes poking cables through walls much easier. In summary, stop reading this and buy 'em!!

I'm using this speaker system with a old Rega Brio 'clamshell' amp in my home office. The attraction of the acoustimass 3 is that the cube speakers are fixed high up on the wall above where I sit, so at last I have realistic natural stereo sound happening right where I am sitting. Sound good tight bass and realistic mid/high range response, it has a lot of 'presence'.

Great speakers.. i use it in my room. for music and movies. however i am planning to move the speakers to my living room and probably looking for a louder module. Therefore would probably exchange it for a higher version in few weeks. love the 90 day exchange policy.

I just received this item that was shipped quickly to me. Quick and easy setup took longer for me to move my current wires out of the way to hook up, than setup. Simple four wires to hook up and turned on my old Hitachi and fired up with no issue. The sound quality is clear and takes virtually no room in my small apartment. A+ , Bose I will definitely buy again.

Have used the capanion 3 system for over three years I am very happy with my experience. I use for external speakers with my computers. and also have used as a small AV system when background music was required for meetings and get to gethers.
