Simple setup, and sound quality is amazing. Integrated support for SoundTouch app. Calibration process for the room acoustics was easy and fast. Be aware that it is designed to sit on an entertainment cabinet or table; it doesn’t come with wall mounting hardware.

This soundbar is amazing compared to other brands by far. Even on its own without a subwoofer/ bass module you can hear quality bass with sound that fills the room. Do not think that you are missing out on quality or features by choosing the 500 or 700 soundbars cause the 300 has everything. Comes with a magic remote that works great on any brand TV too!

Absolutely well pleased I purchased the sound touch 300 read some negative reviews which nearly put me of before testing but once I heard the demo I was blown away, listened to sonos,Sony, and Samsung sound bars and the Bose 300 win hands down I can’t understand some negativity towards the 300 but hey each to their own. Set up was straight forward following the instructions, downloaded the sound touch app and stared listening to tunein radio and the sound was so clear. I hooked my 4K Sony Bravia with the arc hdmi quickly tested the quality and again wow . Next was Bluetooth as I’m a big music lover hooked up my iPhone XS and played all genres and again wow there was sounds coming from places that shouldn’t be possible from where the sound bar was placed. David Bowie .. space oddity holy **** full wall of sound left to right to centre simply stunning sound no matter what I played so yea I’d say buy you’ll not be disappointed

I am given this review on this product based on my expirence and no reflection on the all BOSE products. I bought my ST300 (Oct 2017) with all other speaker (BASS and Satellite small speakers) to get a surround sound like no other and it was working excellent. However, my ST300 on a perfect good day and while listening to it stop working with no sound and power. I call the support to get some form of diagnostic support, however to be told that the sound bar would have to be ship for repairs with a repair fee. I am a bit disappointed with this, given the reputation of BOSE product. It has only been 13 Month since I bought this ST300 and now I have to spend additional monies. I made a substantial investment for a quality surround sound and will submit for repairs, but wanted to let BOSE quality control of the my situation.

When I connect my SoundTouch bar 300 to my appletv via Bluetooth it interrupts my WiFi and stops my content that I’m streaming (Hulu or Netflix). I basically can’t use it with my AppleTv which is the whole reason why I bought it. Pretty disappointing, I expected more from Bose.

Got my SoundTouch300 approximately 2 years ago. I love this thing so much I went and got a second bar along with sub and surround speakers for my other house. The volume is outstanding, the sound when you have a proper audio input from your TV or BluRay player, etc sounds great. I wish the directions on use and set up were a little more clear and sometimes there will be difficulty with getting it to connect. I usually go thru the Bose SoundTouch App. I have it connected to other SoundTouch Products such as a SoundTouch 10 x 2, 20 x 1 and 30 x 1. I really want to connect the rest of my house using SoundTouch. I wish the newer products Bose brought out like the Home 500 speaker would work with SoundTouch or vice versa the new Bose App would integrate with SoundTouch speakers. That is something to be careful about.

Installation of the program and its debugging demands contact with the company. Everything is very complicated! If to establish program on home computer - The program and musical library doesn't give access to musical files directly that it was possible to choose desirable music. From 100% of musical files on the computer can reproduce 20%. The software defect to the device is felt. It is possible to endure, but not for such money. As it would be desirable an opportunity to listen to favourite CD for the spent money - is absent. Music is reproduced only in limited quantity through library which is created and imposed to the buyer by the program and which isn't convenient for the consumer. Beauty and design aren't so important as possibilities of the device.

Speaker works great. But the Wifi connectivity sucks making other features unusable. After full 12 hours of struggling to setup, found that this speaker cannot be identified in Google WiFi router’s network and also won’t connect in 5 GHz network on my Uverse router. Uverse prefers to bond both 2.4 and 5 GHz into one SSID for better performance. It causes the speakers to select either one randomly and couldnot connect when it is in 5GHz. I’m using it as a non networked (non smart?) speaker connected to my TV. No internet radio or streaming songs through my phone or music server possible.. Too bad for Bose brand.

Sound quality is amazing on the sound bar and subwoofer. I think bose can do a better job on rear speakers though, not high quality, can barely hear the sorround effects from the rears.

The bass is weak on the sub woofer. I do not have the thunderous bass that I expected. What can be dine to correct this issue? Also the surround speaker sound is broken up. Is it supposed to be that way?

I was very skeptical when i decided to purchase this sound system for my basement. My basement is kind of compact but was perfect enough for a projector screen mounted 14 feet away from the wall. I was shopping around for a simple system that could be mounted without much wiring. I ended up purchasing this after much of shopping around and i would not regret this for sure. Of-course it is not the best, but it produces quality sound especially when you have it in a compact area. I was just happy with the sound bar and the sub alone. It created a great surround sound which was close to 90% of a real 5.1. The surround speakers are not that great for 2 reasons 1. It is not invisible as they advertise and it carries a bulky adapter and 2. It may just increase the hearing experience by another 10% on the whole. But overall this is a complete package which delivers at least to your expectation for a hobby listener like me.

Does not produce sound from cable tv. Sound test with Samsung tv produces sound. Apple TV produces sound. Samsung tv now produces no sound through tv speakers. No, the mute is not engaged on any remote. It's been a huge waste of money!

Awesome clarity and when connected to Bass module.....you can just feel the thunder. Bass is however adjustable using the remote so it fits to individual preferences. Pricey but I think it is worth it. The software, the technology and the quality. It's not that I could afford but the sound quality just got into my head when I first heard it in the bestbuy store. I would go and play it whenever I go to bestbuy. My whole family just loves the acoustics and clarity. Finally I got to buy it from Adorama. Check in store and buy from Adorama. Very prompt delivery.

It took me 15 minutes to mount the soundbar and just a few more minutes to do the calibration. And that's it. They provide an audio cable and HDMI (ARC). After researching a bit, I picked the HDMI cable. The sound quality is great for both music and movies. I'm considering "Virtually Invisible 300"

First of all I was a bit nervous to set this up thinking it was going to be a bit difficult. To my surprise it was one of the easiest things I have ever done. I live in a apartment and not to big of a living room, so I started with the headset which was super fun to do, after that I was set and ready to go, it basically did everything itself, and the sound was so AWESOME!!! I download the app to my kindle fire and with a press of the button on the remote it started playing my favorite music!! I would recommend this to anyone who likes music and watch movies with great sound. I have also asked my neighbors if they can hear it when I turned the sound up and they have all said no, but I hear it perfectly. Love this soundbar very much!!

I have been building my dream home theater system and that is the primary reason I wanted to experience the BOSE SoundTouch 300 soundbar. I recently purchased a new 55” ROKU television and was now looking to begin adding additional items to continue building my dream home theater system. I have been using various Bose products for approximately 35 years – so I felt that if it was from Bose it would meet all my expectations – and it did. However, I researched various soundbars in order to reach an informed-decision of which soundbar I felt would best fit my personal requirements and lifestyle - both current and future. Working with a certain budget in mind, the two comparably-priced, high-quality soundbars I liked best were the Bose SoundTouch 300 and the Sonos PLAYBAR. However, the Bose SoundTouch 300, in my opinion, takes top honors because it is jam-packed with just about every current feature and technology a person could possibly desire – plus designed to grow with you on into the future. The Sonos lacks 4K video compatibility, lacks Bluetooth connectivity, lacks HDMI inputs/outputs, lacks an Ethernet port, lacks USB connectivity, etc. The Bose, on the other hand, is not lacking in any way – and the sound is unparalleled. I was a bit concerned when I looked at the first page of the quick-start guide and saw that it said to place the soundbar at least 1-3 feet away from other wireless equipment. That was a concern for me because my new 55” ROKU television is connected via Wi-Fi to my Internet router. However, I experienced no problems upon placement of the soundbar a mere six inches away from my television. I am very satisfied with the features of the Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar. It is built with every imaginable feature and technology a person could want, plus includes a universal remote that makes switching between various sources a breeze. I love that the soundbar includes both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, plus offers HDMI inputs/outputs. I really love how easy it is to calibrate the soundbar to your room – you simply put on the ADAPTiQ headphones and the soundbar speaks to you as it fine-tunes the system's sound to your room. One moment I might be using the soundbar for my television and the next moment I'm using the soundbar to listen to streaming music. All done easily with the touch of a button with the included remote. Something I really love about Bose is that they make sophisticated products, but you don't have to be a professional to use their products. My only complaint is minor in nature – included in the box is a quick-start guide that I do not feel is adequate for setup of an elaborate, highly-sophisticated home theater system. However, using the online user manual, setup then becomes quick and easy. I have several friends who are either high-end audio/video enthusiasts, professional sound engineers and/or recording artists – individuals I know who have high-expectations. I am so impressed with this soundbar that I have already recommended this to many of these friends.

Sound quality is excellent! During the setup it configures key areas of sound which I found a lot more effective when compared to the Sonos bar - it makes the experience in watching movies a lot better.

I am really amazed at the quality of sound that the Bose SoundTouch 300 provides alone without any additional speakers. I have a very large living room that I calibrated it to and it not only sounds amazing in there but through the whole house with the volume not turned up completely. I can't honestly tell you just how loud it will go because while turning it up it was so loud that i couldn't stand it anymore and started turning it back down. But even that loud the sound was crystal clear. The thing i have found the most amazing about it is that my elderly father who has a very hard time hearing loves to listen to music. All the other speakers we have that he listens to if we turn them loud he can hear the words that are being sang as long as he is sitting close to the speakers. The sound quality with this soundbar he is being able to hear it no matter where he goes through out the house. I didn't think it was possible to find something to let him enjoy his music so thoroughly again. The only complaint i have had with it was the instructions that come with it in the box tells you very little and leave you confused on how to set it up but that was easy to fix by coming to the Bose website they have very detailed instructions on how to do everything here. I would recommend this product to anyone even to people with hearing problems.

Wow! Being a little hard to hear voices on tv when there is background noise on tv is very tough. I did not know how much of a show I missed because I could not hear. The voices are crisp. The sound is clear. I am so grateful for the Bose sound bar. The only con I have is it collects dust but no big deal. It hooks to tv very easy and simple. I am sold. I can not say enough positive about this speaker. I enjoy the tv again because everything is crisp and clear. I love the slim size of it.
