The system consists of a slim soundbar main speaker and a wireless Acoustimass module subwoofer, which provide full surround sound without the need for an A/V receiver, making this system ideal for use alongside flat-panel HDTVs.

The soundbar has PhaseGuide sound radiators and TrueSpace technology to direct sound with precision and accuracy to the left, right and center of your room. The ADAPTiQ audio calibration system analyzes the dimensions of your room, along with other variables that affect sound. It then automatically adjusts the sound of the speaker system to match the acoustics of your room for the best possible audio experience. The system also features Flexmount placement compensation, which automatically detects the orientation of the speaker and adjusts the sound so you achieve the best results whether you mount the soundbar on a wall or place it flat on a table or TV stand.

The CineMate 1 SR has a SmartSource input selection system, which continuously monitors the auxiliary audio inputs and automatically switches to the best signal available that matches the video signal on your TV.
