Because the headphone isn't held in by the walls of your ear cannel, it doesn't trap sweat in your ear (which I've had short out earplugs before) or slide out of your ear because you're perspiring. You'll forget you're wearing this device.

These headphones are far superior to what came with my i-pad! I'm very pleased with the way they stay in place and the sound is dynamic!

I've been curious about this style headphone because of the design which is intended to keep it secure in your ear during workouts, while sweating, etc. I'm pleased to say that not only does it stay in place as it states it will, these are by far the most comfortable headphones I've ever had. At first, it seems like they're not fitting well because you don't get that "in ear" feeling. I thought this might mean less bass (I despise tin-y sounding headphones!) but it all works and the bass is very good/present. The one negative is that the cord - which comes in one short length and with one long extension, is just that: either too short or too long. But minor issue. It does come with an arm-band pouch to hold your phone, but that would probably be more for runners than weight lifting which is what I do. Oh, and it'd be nice if it came with some sort of little travel/carrying case for when not in use. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. While there was a little difficulty in making the purchase and getting the right product from Adorama, it all worked out in the end.
