One star deducted for way too long a wait to get the pair. They are nice look. For a steady installation, you will need to screw the speaker cabinets to the stands. Even then, especially on carpet, they are speaker stands not lamp stands!

No, I did not use them as speaker stands. I topped them with polished granite round tops and sold each for $300 as a furniture item on eBay. Yes, life is always about 're-purposing', yourself and the things around you.

Had my Bose 901's hung from the ceiling for years and finally decided to buy stands and have them on the floor. I added my own self adhesive felt pads to the bases to protect my hardwood floors. Good price (for a pair), excellent packaging, timely delivery. Adorama did me right and I really appreciate it. Thanks So Much!
