Bose is always good to great. Probably could spend a hundred more and get a better pair, but for my wife this is a great fit! So much better than the lesser expensive brands we considered.

Great headphones for the money!

I bought the pair over a year ago, and they still provide me the same amazing comfort. The memory foam is too good, and they're so light you hardly notice they're there. Audio quality is top notch and the detachable cable rarely gets tangled. 

The headphones are not built for outdoor use and they'll be damaged if you use them when running or even going out in the sun. Best suited for indoor usage. I've had to change the memory foam cups because of the damage. 

If you're looking for a pair of amazing headphones for mostly indoor use, go for it. For everyday usage, I recommend you buy a secondary pair of in-ear headphones.

Very much worth the price

UPDATE ON THE NEW BOSE

Bought these for my father from the family for Father's Day and he loves them.  That was all he asked for and for a man who can buy himself literally anything he wants, these lived up to his standards and what a great price! I will be back for sure. Fast shipping, easy process.

Exactly what we were looking for!

Bought these on sale recently........first set of over-ear headphones in quite a while. 

Tried a few different brands on in the store for fit and sound quality. Previous over-ears have been uncomfortable to wear for long periods. Came back to these and couldn't beat them on comfort, sound and price!

Glad with the purchase and am already looking at the noise-cancelling set as an upgrade!

A sound experience!

Love, love, love these headphones.  Worth the money, quality sound, and no outside noise even though they are not noise canceling, still no outside noise.  I would uy them for gifts again.  Recommend them very highly.

I got these for my wife for Christmas.  We share our office space and she occasionally edits video productions, making coexistence in the same room challenging.  She suggested a pair of headphones, and I thought she deserved better than cheap 'phones.  These fit the bill very well.  Great sound that didn't break the bank.

I BOUGHT this a month a ago and it was the worst investment I have ever made! The cord is so flimsy and requires readjustment and I have only been using it for a week! Please get some other product!

Do NOT BUY!!

I got this headphone as a gift from my friends and have been using it for about 3 years. They are good headphones with nice sound quality but after 3 years of use they have started wearing out. They still sounds good but I would like Bose to improve the material quality.

I got these headphones for Christmas & I sent an email to Bose asking how/where could I send theses to be fixed . There was a shortage in my left ear ... ended up throwing these in the trash & buying beats ... You pay this kinda money for things not lasting

These headphones have fantastic sound quality and the fit is to a T. However, the headphone plug tends to weaken and break at the 45 degree angle (I've owned 3 and thankfully purchased insurance). If you corrected this design these headphones would be 5/5 for sure

Great headphones, poor headphone plug

Bought 1 week ago for sons birthday and depending on how you turn the cable depends on which side you hear music. Cannot hear sound out of both ears. Very disappointing.

I was looking for a new pair of over the ear headphones with a good mic and volume control. These are perfect! I use them mostly during my commute or when I'm playing video games. I am very happy with them and I'd recommend them if you're looking for something simple but useful.

Great Quality

I brought this "Sound True Around - ear headphone II" after my earlier Bose "Sound True ON hear" got robbed. While the new earphones is much more expensive, surprisingly the sound quality of this is not good as that of the old one. I felt the bass and beats is not that pulsating ...

Average sound quality

This is the most comfortable headphone i've used. I use it a lot playing playstation 4 and with my iPhone 7.

I truly can't stand these headphones. I've used them a fairly normal amount and through this use they've constantly fallen apart, and the left half had just blown out. They are also bulky and fairly unpractical.

Awful

I bought these headphones thanksgiving of 2015 and i've had these ever since. I've had 3 other pairs of headphones before these and the one that lasted the longest out of the 3 lasted at least 5 months. My bose have lasted me over a year and i will always from now on buy headphones from bose. They are in my opinion the best headphone company. The only thing i don't like about the headphones is because they're starting to get some wear and tear around the edges of the headband. But considering what they go through in one day i am not surprised. It doesn't bother me that much honestly. Another thing that bothers me is that their products are kinda expensive. But honestly worth it. I'd say do more research before purchasing ANY of their products. But i do recommend these for every day, on the cheaper side headphones by this company.

Lasted the longest out of every pair of headphones

I'd been looking for better headphones for my Android phone for a long time. The standard earbuds just won't stay in my ears. I wear glasses as well so some headphones cause pressure points in my ears which I want to avoid. I also wanted a protective case for commuting. Finally, some headphones just don't work with Android phones - I had a good set of old Nokia headphones that worked with my old N8 but not with my Samsung. So being Samsung compatible was important. I looked at Sennheiser headphones but theirs seemed a bit flimsy compared to Bose. Further research led me to Bose for Samsung phones. I also considered Sport model headphones because I have a sauna and like to listen to music during a sauna session, so something waterproof was a consideration. Again, the Sport models were all in ear which potentially could fall out so I decided against this. I requested the SoundTrue as a gift, it was easy to get and small enough to travel from the gift giver in the USA to me in Australia. They're high quality, comfortable, and work, without spending a lot of money. My next phone will probably be a Samsung so these'll carry over. Also, there's just one cord which can be unplugged.

Best for Android

I bought it when it was half price for black friday. The cable connector was not working properly after 1 day use. Bose is sending me a replacement but will have to see how it turns out. Sound quality is average.

Worth the money

I got these for Christmas. I wore them for a few minutes on Christmas day and then today, four days later, i used them for about 2 hrs. While listening i was putting on a scarf, some how this caused the right ear to stop producing sound. This is ridiculous, not even 1 week old and they're already broken. They were expensive and i was finally looking forward to having a pair of quality lasting headphones that i could trust. But to be honest im not surprised because there were so light weight.

Broke after 1 day!

Have always been impressed with Bose products and I currently own a variety of them so I decided to order this item as a Christmas gift in November. Email from Bose stated ships within two weeks. At the end of the two weeks an email was sent with a UPS tracking number. However, after an extended amount of time after the scheduled delivery date and when speaking with a representative from both Bose and UPS, Bose had still not moved the product from their warehouse to UPS. Now with it being three days after Christmas and obviously me no longer requiring the item as a gift I attempted to receive a refund. I was then told by Bose that because the item had shipped (despite there being no proof the product had even left the Bose warehouse) that my only option would be to reject the package once it finally arrived and once Bose received the product back a refund would then be processed in two to three weeks! I was also told that I should not expect the package to move to UPS for at least another week and then UPS delivery would take 10 days to deliver and then another ten to return let alone the hassle of having to drive in to a UPS facility to reject the package.

Truly disappointed by the lack of customer service when requested on multiple phone calls. This will be the last product I attempt to order from Bose and I will be telling friends and family of this struggle. Even if they make a good product, they do not stand behind it and that doesn't give me much confidence to purchase another product in case something were to go wrong with it.

Terrible customer service

i bought these a couple of day ago on amazon from the bose company, and the headphones are perfect. it's just that the cord, if you twist it the wrong way in the headphones, the right ear will stop working. but i love the head phones. just not the cord.

Usual excellent Bose quality, and performance. You can't go wrong. Just make sure you order the correct version, and that your device is compatible.

Great headset

I just received this for my main christmas present and the wire/connection port is faulty, not happy at all, this problem should have been spotted, i'm an avid fan of bose and this is very disappointing.

I got these for Christmas and there so comfortable I absolutely love the sound. The base is a tiny weak but still amazing. I love the look of the headphones and how they go over the ears plus they not to heavy.
