I bought the soundbar with these speakers didn't have the funds for the sub (well not yet) and man are these speakers awesome. i don't know why people say they don't put out any sound because are they wrong they can crank out sometimes i think they get louder than the bar itself. And please people don't be sorry to say dumb... but wireless items still need some sort of a power source DUH unless you want to replace batteries once a week. I cant wait to get the sub for this and complete the 5.1 i threw my vizio soundbar in the trash and am i glad i did. Buy these you will not be dissapointed.

If you don't properly program your TV for these speakers, you will be disappointed. Once I figured that out, I was more than happy with the performance of the system.

We bought the SoundTouch 300 soundbar and bass module, but something was missing. We added these surround sound VI 300 speakers, at first I thought not good enough because they are set too low as the default, but if you download the app and find where to adjust the volume you are all set. The complete system sounds amazing.

I purchased a new pair of surround sound speakers for the sound touch 300. After setup a loud crackling sound sound was coming from one of the speakers. Very disappointed that speakers I’ve never got to enjoy are in for warranty work.

Absolute terrible. Set up using head phones supplied for locating viewer but cannot hear the speakers at all. Soundbar great, these speakers great looking. Easy to set up. Unfortunately cannot hear them. Hoping we can take them back. Small 12' x 22' room. Sitting approximately 15' from soundbar with each of the speakers 6' directly to each side. Cannot hear them until you are 1' away from them. Very disappointing. Bought Bose headphones and were extremely happy and other Bose systems but this is very dissapointing.

I have Bose headphones and earbuds. I really like those. Since I like those, I bought Bose soundbar 300, Acoustimass 300 sub last week. Even though the sound was good with only those two I thought of add virtually invisible 300 yesterday. Woow.. it made a huge difference. I would say this is the best Home theater system I have ever had. Enjoy every bit of it.

One can never say he has it all without this little system in handy. I bought the Soundtouch300 Bar + Bass about last year from a Bose outlet in Woodbury, NY. At first, i thought without the rear surround speaker it won't make any big difference on the sound, but after a week of enjoying my sound system i started to feel that something's missing, i then headed to a closest Bose store in Columbus circle, Manhattan, NY to get these Virtually Invisible 300 surround speakers. After a quick set up at home, i was blown away by the clarity, sound quality, and overall performance of my system. It can't be complete without the whole set. I can't imagine how Bose paid attention to so much detail to create such an amazing sound system. For every music enthusiast out there who does not want to settle for anything less, choose Bose SoundTouch300. This system simply replaced my home theater. Simple, minimalist design, but performs like a juggernaut.

Amazing Aesthetics and premium sound Having owner the Bose Soundtouch Soundbar for the past year and impressed by the immense sound by the bar on its own, I saw this as a further progression and extension, of my setup. I was happy with the sound produced from the soundbar, however now with these added I have a real and immense cinema setup. I expected the quality from both build quality and sound to be of the highest order, going on my previous experience of Bose equipment, I have never been let down, I have previously owned QC20’s, QC25’s along with a Bose Soundtouch10 Speaker setup. This has replaced my Roth Bar and Sub superbly, the bass is superb and tbh I don't feel that the bass is far off what I received with the separate hub on the Roth bar. Let me start with the design, the bar is just short of the length of my 42" TV and sits nicely in front of the TV without being overbearing or blocking the view as the height of the Bar is minimal. The speaker grill goes all the way around the front, sides and part of the back, this ensures sound is deployed to the area of the room that it is supposed to be. Albeit not a full 5.1 setup, the way this works is very impressive for such a compact unit and in our 4m x 3m living room the sound is impressive. The VI Speakers are compact and cubed, I have them mounted on brackets and they look superb and are ideally placed behind the sofa. The design of the product is focused on a premium feel and look along with superb sound quality. The top of the bar is a high gloss/glass look, this looks superb however ensure that you have a polishing cloth nearby as it does attract dust, a quick wipe and it looks like new again. As stated the length and height is ideal as it is not over bearing and doesn't try to become a "feature of the room" more of a simplistic and stylish accessory. Bose have managed to create an aesthetically pleasing device with crisp and quality sound dispersement in a device that would suit any living room. Straight out of the box I plugged it in, everything you need to get it hooked up are included. It comes with a HDMI cable, Optical Cable along with power cable and setup cable/microphone. I would advise reading the instructions before setting up, if this is done, setup is very straight forward. Everything revolves around the universal remote control and it guides you through the full process by verbal commands. You have to use the setup headset to ensure that the sound is perfect in the areas you usually sit in to watch tv or listen to music. There is a distinct difference if you listen to it when you haven't set the listening zones. With the VI Speakers added in certain films and sports it sounds like the crowd are behind you, which is AMAZING. You can set it up to play music or sound from your devices via Bluetooth and Wifi and this works through the Bose SoundTouch app available on android and iOS. This is a well thought out and designed app which focuses on ease of use and simplicity. I have also been advised it has NFC however I do not have devices that support this, so can't comment on this function. The included universal remote is a thing of brilliance and has replaced my All 4 One remote which we have had for the past 6 years. It allows you to control all devices easily and is easy to learn. The feel of the remote is once again premium and Bose has designed it to ensure that all features of modern day TV's can be controlled by it, ensuring that you don't have to go and find the remote for separate devices for certain functions. It also features a smart "all off / all on" feature which will turn on or off with a touch of a button. Overall this is once again a killer product by Bose, which albeit produced after many other manufactures already had products on the market. There is nothing I can identify that I am missing from this setup and think the R&D team have nailed this product to meet customer’s expectations. We had friends over last week and they commented without prompting on the sound, we watched Iron Man and they loved the Depth of Sound provided. To the point where they have ordered one of these for themselves on Amazon. To sum up, if your looking for a sound bar that produces crisp sound and quality aesthetics. This is a must to consider and I highly recommend the Soundbar with the Virtually invisible speakers for truly immense sound. I highly rate this sound bar and invisible speakers and wouldn't do without it. well done Bose, albeit the delay this has been worth the wait.

I read both positive and negative reviews,I had sound bar and bass speaker had great sound already,but was throwing idea of back speakers for surround sound,well negative reviews are wrong,adjusted volume with app and its perfect movies that broadcast in surround sound awesome,music is coming in real nice The money I invested is worth it to me.Fan of bose and they have not let me down

Great! Is the best way to describe them. Like everything you could expect from Bose, they are stylish, well built and have great sound quality. They were quite easy to set up and pair with the soundbar and subwoofer and they make a great difference to the overall sound experience! The only thing I would like to do with more ease, is play with the settings of the different speakers, as sometimes I would like to have more bass, or get these to be a bit louder. Other than that, highly recommended!

I received the speakers to review and was excited to get them set up as I’m a big Bose fan, I found them to be the usual excellent quality that is normally expected of Bose though wasn’t overly impressed with the transformers and the huge length of wiring, I found the setting up to be fairly simple and eagerly sat back to enjoy the first movie, it was at this point I began to be disappointed, I don’t know if my living room is too small to fully experience the surround sound but I really preferred the sound quality when it was only the sound bar, which is a superb piece of equipment. Like I said I’m a big fan of Bose but these speakers didn’t do it for me.

I have both sound bar and sub-woofer. These speakers just improved the experience! top quality sound and really easy to pair with the sound bar and sub-woofer. Also Bose app adjusts the sound to obtain exact combination...but it gives you also the option to optimise it to your liking. It just makes it incredible to watch movies at home. Love it!

I bought these to expand the already great sound from my ST300 Soundbar - and have been impressed by what a difference they make. Once installed and set-up (a really very simple process when you follow the instructions) if you put your ear to them, the actual noise coming from them is quite subtle. Yet, when sitting in your chair, the soundscape is massively spread out, with anything that moves across the screen (like a car coming into view across a driveway) literally making you jump out of your seat! I quickly found that for my large room I wanted a little more volume from these speakers relative to the soundbar itself - and the iOS SoundTouch app that controls them makes that process incredibly simple (although finding the right place to change the volume levels could be easier!) I was surprised at how large the power-block / BlueTooth receiver is for each speaker (about the size of a couple of blocks of butter) but the long cables supplied mean that it easy to place the tiny speakers exactly where you want regardless. I have been pleasantly impressed, but only really realised how much they enhanced the overall sound when I disconnected them again - when it all sounded much "flatter”. Overall - I wouldn’t go back to life without them!

(Like the very modern looking Glass top which has the famous BOSE logo in the centre). It has a wrap around grill to cover the speakers. I have not used it through the hdmi cable yet but just the optical audio connection which was just plug and play. The instruction booklet that comes with it is fairly thick with a lot of pages in it but only has 5 pages with 8 pictures and a short description under each for every language you can think of. (This is more than enough to get you in musical heaven). The hardest thing to do is set the listening parameters up. (This would be a doddle if you haven't got noisy kids keep coming in asking "what's those noises that keep playing?") In the box is all the leads that you need including optical audio, power cables (UK and European) and a hdmi. The surround speakers are as easily set up with the instructions given in the box. (You have to set up te listening parameters up again once connected to the soundbar) this is easy. The only downside to this is if you like watching films where you need a room rattling bass you will have to buy the additional subwoofer. The bass is in my opinion is just right. (Any deeper and your neighbours will fall out with you very quickly). I would recommend the Bose Soundtouch 300 and surround speakers to anyone that is after a high end Soundbar and surround speakers.

Having paired these speakers with the soundbar, they were very simple to setup and calibrate, the little Bose screwdriver is cool! They sound great and add an extra dimension to movies. The speakers need to be positioned well to get the best surround sound effect. Will definitely need the soundtouch app to adjust volumes as factory setting was too quiet. Once tweaked can get it just right and they compliment the soundbar. Music also sounds good having sound come from all directions. Speakers look really smart and compact the only issue is trying to hide the chunky cable and make them invisible. Definitely worth adding on to the soundbar for a full surround sound setup.

I have owned these speakers for a few weeks now to compliment my Bose SoundTouch 300. The speakers are compact and what attracted me was the fact that they are wireless (sort of!). Wireless on this product, allows the speakers to be connected to the soundbar without the need for a cable. The speakers both require a 3 pin plug though. They are easy to fit and set up, using the Bose App. This took me around 5-10 minutes. My initial opinion was not good. I plugged the speakers in and they appeared to be VERY quiet. This was until I realised that their sound can be adjusted in the Bose App. Unfortunately, the volume is still not as loud as I would wish. I have turned the VI speakers up to 10 (max settings) and turned the soundbar down to -2 and I still feel the VI speakers could be louder. If the speakers were a bit cheaper, then I would not make a fuss and be happy with the quality etc. I have used the product for films (films advertised with 5.1 setting) and for music. The speakers definitely excel when it comes to playing music as they can be turned up very loud and you feel immersed in the sound. These speakers need a stand or wall mount in order to be used to their full potential. Unfortunately, neither come with the speakers and these cost extra. Annoyingly, you need to purchase Bose speakers as they have fitted the VI speakers with a specific/custom speaker mount on the back. This is frustration as Bose, again, charge loads of money for the stands. If these speakers were a little cheaper, I would highly recommend them. Unfortunately, I am disappointed that Bose are selling the set-up separately and it costs loads to put it all together. I feel it would be cheaper for a decent surround sound set than these Bose speakers.

I was sent these to test with my Soundtouch 300 and I have to say I am very impressed. They arrive in a small box, and come with everything that you need. Simple to set up with only a few steps required, you need to screw in the cable to the speaker plug, and connect the receivers to the other end. Press a combination of buttons on the remote and you're good to go. Probably took 20 minutes to get set up. You could easily mount these, and Bose provide you with enough cable that you could easily hide the cable in the wall with a couple small holes. With a small smart design to match the sleek aesthetic of the SoundTouch 300, the will look the part in any room. They add depth and richness of sound to the system. Watching films have taken on a new dimension as you suddenly get all the extra noises that you wouldn't have before. Its like when I went from just the TV speakers to having the soundbar, the difference was very noticeable then, and it is just as noticeable now with these. When playing music they wrap the room in sound, complementing the sound bar impressively. If you own the SoundTouch 300, you should definitely buy these.

I did notice that there are differences depending on what source you are playing from. For example when playing movies on Netflix the level of surround was not as good or as clear as it was when using Amazon Video. But this is not a problem as there is a feature in the soundtouch App that allows you to change the level of output from the surround speakers separately from the soundbar. Once I adjusted this the sound was perfect. Anyone who would like to improve the sound even more than what they are currently getting with the soundbar should add these as they will not be disappointed. Amazing quality amazing sound.

Having bought the Soundtouch 300 Soundbar last year I wanted to expand the system to include surround. These are the only option available, and this system is one of the few on the market that is capable of true 5.1 surround. The speakers themselves are as advertised; they are extremely small and discrete. However, as many other people have commented, the wireless module/power brink that comes with it is massive, bigger than the speakers themselves, and you get 2 of them. The included cable is also very long, and because it is none standard, I don’t fancy trimming it down. This makes the install a little tricky to achieve the claimed virtually invisible. Thankfully I could hide the mess behind the couch which is against the wall. Set-up is quite simple but because there is no on-screen display you have to read the instructions to know what buttons to press. I have found when switching the soundbar off by the mains it forgets the surround settings, so need repairing. Some people have criticised the volume, and this is certainly the case out of the box, but you can increase the volume considerably via the Soundtouch app. Once I had the correct volume levels, the speakers worked well and helped movies become much more immersive. The audio quality is excellent and there was no tinniness that you would expect from small speakers. Overall, they are not perfect, but they do perform well and they a cleaner set-up than a receiver + speakers.

I’ve been using the VI 300 speakers with my Soundtouch 300 Soundbar for about a week now. In short, I love them. They were extremely easy to pair with the soundbar, taking about half a minute including reading the instructions. The sound quality is excellent, subtle but really adds another dimension to music and films. I do love how Bose products are brilliant but not heavy handed, you would not sit there and think immediately that you had speakers all around you but you would feel enveloped by sound. Harry Potter is even more “magical”, with different sounds coming from different places. Definitely worth the purchase.

I have had these a week now and sampled normal tv, sport and lots of music of all genres... These are a perfect addition to the soundbar and I'm not sure I need the base module as the sound is fabulous as it is! There seem to be a few negative reviews about the volume but if you go to the soundbar settings on the app, then audio settings, there is a surround level adjuster. I have cranked it up to max for music playback...however for sport the cheering in your ears from the surround sound can drown the commentary from the soundbar...so its best turned down a bit. All in all I am chuffed to bits!
