I had my bose wave IV radio for 22 days now, I just got back from vacation, and found out it went on sale for $150 less then I paid for. I still have 8 days left if I want to return it, I hope bose will refund me my $150, if not, I will likely return it

I purchased it last week and I cant stop playing it. I have it connected to th Amazon Dot and the sound is amazing! Its not blue tooth, but the dot allows me to connect to all types of music, even sirrus radio.. I love this system, so sleek.

I received my Wave yesterday and was blown away that it would not pick up my favorite classic rock station only 30 miles away! Every radio in my house can easily lock into this radio station. All I can hear is crackles and static at this point. I had read several reviews that said just this but I thought it was an exaggeration. It is no exaggeration...this radio has very poor reception especially for the cost. The owners manual suggested to flex the power cord because of its built in antenna. It made absolutely no difference what I tried to do...the radio would not work at all properly. Disappointed life long Bose user

Over priced clock radio! Bought this for the bedroom...Returned! Sure it sounds ok, but why is the AUX input/headphone jack in the back? Where's the Bluetooth? At least the price got lowered and you lost the CD player! Also, there should be an external antenna when you need to pull in a distant radio station AND more than one AUX input and a HDMI connector! Sure you add these and the price will go up but I'd rather pay more for a product that I will use rather than a over priced clock radio...

"REALLY" your selling an FM/AM radio that won't receive an FM signal....... unless an antenna is purchased separately! are all of your products offered without all the necessary components to enjoy them?

I have had numerous Bose products love the sound of the wave radio IV but the original wave radio that I had was much louder. my first wave radio that I purchased was about 17 years and the price was about $199 USD. though it was time to upgrade it but what a mistake that was the old radio was still playing except the AM was not. Its ok but you have to use the remote for everything the only thing that I can do is turn off the radio manually and this is a big turn off what would happen I the remote were to brake or get lost?

I like this system without the remote control, I read some reviews and some people don't like it, they rather have the buttons on top of the system, not me. I find the remote control easy to use, at first you might have a hard time using it, like I did, but before you know it, it will be very easy to use. and again if you are thinking about purchasing this unit, go for it. You will be happy with it, like I am. Thank you Bose

I purchased the bose wave IV without the CD player about 9 days ago. I work very hard, so I decided I'm going to treat myself for once, which I hardly do. this unit is outstanding, amazing sound, and great looks. I even hooked up a DVD-CD player to it. If you are thinking about purchasing this system, I say go for it. Thank you Bose.

We bought our radio over 20 years ago and it just went out. We have unplugged it hoping it would reset and it wont. I am so sad to have to buy a new one since way back then we had the funds and now I just don't know if I could do that again.

I received a Wave radio about 20 years ago as a Christmas gift. After all this time, it still sounds like it did when it was new. I have used it in every room of my home, including the kitchen while remodeling. It even survived a hammer falling off an 8 foot ladder! I just purchased a pair of Bose headphones for business travel, and if they are half as good as the Wave, I will continue to be a lifelong customer.

Our BOSE Wave radio has been in use for more than 30 years. Never failed in any way. Looks and functions as new after all this time. This is how you build brand loyalty. I Love Bose.

I got this a month ago, & I couldn't be any happier. I heard this unit being demonstrated in the Bose Store, fell in love with the sound. It sounds like something bigger than what it is. The research is apparent in the sound quality & you do get what you pay for. Recommend this to anyone who is looking for something that has the sound of a bigger hifi stereo but needs the size of a smaller unit.

I have owned many Bose products in the past and have been extremely satisfied with them. With the Wave Radio System IV I am extremely disappointed. The sound is not as good as expected and it does not have good reception. My Sony boom box picks up more stations and sounds almost as good as the Bose.

Our Wave has been our bedroom radio for well over a decade. It seems to have lost a bit of its treble range so we are thinking of buying a new one. I can operate the buttons by feel in the dark but having to rely on a remote seems to me a disadvantage. My question is whether loss of some treble is normal over a long time and is it something repairable.

I purchased my wonderful Boze radio about five years and I lost my directions in a move. I am suffering from old age and I cannot remember how to unset my alarm on my Boze radio. Please help as it goes off and I don't know what to do. Help!

I still have the original Wave Radio w/CD player that I purchased back in 2001. The display on it finally died, so I went back to Bose to look for a replacement. As with other reviewers, I find the lack of controls on the unit itself a show stopper. I understand that Dr. Bose wanted a sleek look and that is an unfortunate side effect of what I'll call the "Steve Jobs effect." Sleek is good, but not when it impacts utility. On the larger Wave systems, a remote only option is tolerable. This, however is marketed as an alarm clock for a bedside table and is exactly how I used my old one. If I want to change the alarm time or source, I don't want to have to go fumbling around for a the remote to do it. I want to be able to set everything with the controls mounted on the top. Yes, you can snooze the unit with a touch sensor on top, but I want more control than that. Frankly - if you have a larger room, skip this unit altogether and look at one of the bigger Wave systems. If you are looking for an alarm clock, skip this until as well. Basically, it only makes sense if you have a small room and plan to use it as a music system. There really is no excuse not to have top mounted controls today. Plenty of companies offer products with touch sensitive controls that are integrated into the top so they don't stick out like the old buttons did. Heck, you could even embed and ipod like mechanism that is dark until it detects a finger touch at which point it lights up. This would give you the sleek look along with the utility of buttons on the unit itself. C'mon Bose - listen to your customers and give us a clock radio worthy of the title.

I've had my Wave Radio for about 1.5 yrs. and it performs as advertised but I wanted to mention a few details that were disappointing. You have to use the remote for tuning and volume control. There is no external AM antenna; the radio has to be rotated to perfect the AM reception, and since the speakers are directional, this is a problem. Lastly, the power cord is not permanently attached to the back of the set but must be plugged in; the attachment is not very tight and moving the radio or even bumping against it may make you lose power.

I had the older generation of wave for about 5 years now, sound quality is still top notch but the design seems a bit dated if not obsolete. Glad I replaced it with the latest WAVE, its much more elegant than its predecessor.
