I recommend this product
The versatility of this product is what makes it especially useful. It swivels from left to right as well as up and down, and therefore can be used in a variety of situations.

Nice Features
The add said this flash would work as a slave unit. My pctures turned out dark when I used this as a slave unit. I don't know if it's my camera or the flash. It worked very nicely on camera, so I'm assuming its the way I was trying to use the flash. I was very dissappointed in the slow 10 to 12 second recycle time after a full blast.

fabulous!
I use this product when I take portraits. It adds so much lighting and sharpness to the shot. I like how it can bounce light around to avoid deep shadows.

Improved my Pictures
I have only had the flash a couple of weeks, but I can already see the improvement in my photos. I can't afford the high dollar Nikon flashes but this one has done everything I have needed it to do.

Not the best..
I bought this product when I lost my other external flash. This flash has a very slow recovery time. It also sometimes will produce too much flash and then too little flash for the same shot.
But for the money you pay for it, it can be ok.
It is very light weight and fits onto my sony dslr easily.

Love this flash!!! purchasing a second
this was a good purchase, I have been shooting natural light for a while and wanted to step my game up. Purchased the Bower Flash to work in the shoe on camera.. now purchasing another one to work "off camera"

You can not beat it for the price. I have only shot about 120 picks with it and the alkaline's lasted for all 120 pics

Good for the price
I use the flash in racing photography. So far the light has yet to turn green so i mostly use it in manual mode. So much for being compatible in ttl mode

DOES NOT COME WITH FLASH STAND
The flash works great, but the picture above on the website is misleading. The flash does NOT come with the flash stand (to be used when in slave mode).

Great Flash!
This flash is great! I had read other online reviews stating it was loud when recharging. You do hear some noise, but its not overly loud by any means. It has a quick recycle time and high output, the built in diffuser works superb! Love the swivel, bounce and zoom feature on this. For the price, it is definitely worth it and compares very well to other high priced flashes!
