I bought this to use with my 200-600mm. I needed the lens always at the ready during bird walks, so I got a lens foot with a QD socket to match this. The Blackrapid shoulder pad is more comfortable than I expected. I still usually hold the lens by the foot to avoid bouncing and bumps, but at least it can hang safely, close at hand, when I need both hands for something else. The strap adjustment gave me plenty of length. Prior to getting this strap, I tended to wear backpacks. The Blackrapid strap clashes with and is uncomfortable in combination with a backpack, so I bought a beltpack to carry my other items such as water, first aid, bug spray, etc. The strap works best in combination with a shirt/jacket that isn't slippery. Texture holds it in place better.

Great product. Comfortable, convenient and let's you quickly change from slung carry of your camera to a tripod mount. No clumsy unscrewing of attachment points. Instant access to camera and instant ability to attach and detach from the sling. The keepers are really nice to ensure your camera does not swing around if you are moving quickly or climbing over obstacles. Great product

Very comfortable strap. Camera slides nicely up to eye. Initially it is a bit confusing figuring out how to place and fasten over shoulder but a few practice runs and you should be set.
